1:36Speaker 2Welcome back to the pep time of week podcast. I'm your host, JD Denham.
1:40Speaker 2Like always, across the way to my left, we have my buddy, my business partner, my friend, and cohost, Mr. Williams Haas.
1:48Speaker 2What's up? I'm excited for today. Yeah. I think a lot of people are. There's been a lot of people that have been waiting for this. So without further ado, we have Danny Carroll, who is a holistic health coach. She
1:59Speaker 2is a ARA- VEDA,
2:02Speaker 2I said that right, holistic
2:04Speaker 2science,
2:05Speaker 4which is a lot of yoga. Right? It's associated in India with yoga and other,
2:09Speaker 2modalities of Eastern healing. Right. So it's fun. Right. So we're gonna talk a lot about that, but we're also gonna talk about water. Hell yeah. What what are we drinking? What's in the air we're breathing?
2:22Speaker 2All good stuff. So tell us a little bit about what you got.
2:26Speaker 2We're gonna dig into the water thing, but tell us a little bit about you and how you landed here.
2:32Speaker 4Loved it, and thank you both for having me. This is super fun.
2:36Speaker 4It's 1 of those things that when you find out something that you're passionate about or something that changed your life, you're like, I need to spread this and make sure other people have it. So this is a privilege to be here. So thank you. Love it. So my name's Danny Carroll. I have been a holistic health coach for 17 years, a yoga teacher and fitness enthusiast for 18 years, and an Ayurvedic specialist for 12 And
3:03Speaker 4so I lived in India for a little bit,
3:06Speaker 4lived out there, and that definitely had an impact on how I see the world and health and
3:12Speaker 4how we can support ourselves.
3:14Speaker 4And so what happened
3:16Speaker 4briefly,
3:17Speaker 4like all things,
3:20Speaker 4me discovering the water was a reaction
3:23Speaker 4to something else that was going on. And I think that's most of how our society
3:28Speaker 4functions is we're very reactive. Sure. Most
3:31Speaker 4people are not in the position of being proactive or preventative. Head of the curve. Exactly.
3:37Speaker 4And so what happened for me was I was in school,
3:41Speaker 4working towards nutrition and, food dietetics
3:45Speaker 4degree at Cal State Long Beach and ended up not finishing for many reasons. Got in a lot of fights with my professors on what qualified as proper nutrition that now science has finally come. Good
3:57Speaker 4for you. It's like, I was just 15 years too ahead, so that's okay.
4:02Speaker 4So I was getting my degree. I was a yoga teacher. I was a holistic health coach. And when I was 16,
4:08Speaker 4going through puberty, liver body changes, all this, I ended up having an autoimmune disease surface. And
4:14Speaker 4so what happened was that began my journey of like, how do I fix this? And my autoimmune presented itself as
4:23Speaker 4full body aches,
4:24Speaker 4like severe joint pain, misdiagnosed
4:27Speaker 4with rheumatoid arthritis because of how severe it was,
4:31Speaker 4and
4:32Speaker 4skin issues.
4:34Speaker 4Head to toe, once a month, my skin would peel. Cool. And it was At 16? At 16. Oh, that's brutal. Well, yeah, especially because I was on the water polo team. So not only is my skin peeling from head to toe, but I'm in a bathing suit while that's happening. You can't hide anything. Yeah. Right? It was crazy.
4:52Speaker 4So my mom and my dad, amazing people. I'm so grateful for them in so many different ways.
4:58Speaker 4They
4:59Speaker 4took me to every doctor and every specialist. And I asked my mom how much money they think they actually spent trying to get this figured out, and it was in the tens of thousands of dollars because my mom has an autoimmune disease too. What's the deal? So we were going around every cream, every antibiotic,
5:16Speaker 4that's the big thing they pushed. I ruined my gut microbiome.
5:19Speaker 4I got really sick for a long time, headaches,
5:23Speaker 4brain fog,
5:24Speaker 4all of this stuff. And so
5:26Speaker 4I decided to do what I thought was best because the doctors I'd given up on, they were just prescribing and no change. Yeah. So I was like, okay, I'm getting my degree in nutrition. I'm working towards this. Food has an impact on us. For sure. So I started changing
5:41Speaker 4everything I ate, elimination diet, a la audio, autoimmune paleo diet, restrictive diet, sugar free, dairy free, grain free,
5:51Speaker 2everything. Where did you see the most change? Immediately
5:55Speaker 4when I went vegan the 1st time,
5:58Speaker 4but it was, again, it was reactive. So you see a short term
6:03Speaker 1change, and
6:04Speaker 4then what you get is 6 to 8 months later,
6:08Speaker 4things resurface
6:09Speaker 4or they come back into new Yeah,
6:11Speaker 4so every time I did this,
6:14Speaker 4I'd have great results 30 to 60 days, sometimes 90 if it was really good, and then the cycle starts back up. Usually,
6:21Speaker 4it started back up with these seasonal
6:24Speaker 4changes
6:25Speaker 4because your body is transitioning to the seasons around us
6:29Speaker 4and with stress.
6:31Speaker 4Stress disrupts your sleep. If you're not sleeping, you're not recovering. If you're not recovering, your body gets inflamed. If your body's inflamed, autoimmune So turns
6:40Speaker 4went through all this, I became, at 1 point, at my most drastic, desperate point, I was a raw vegan.
6:47Speaker 4I am sitting back and all of a sudden,
6:49Speaker 4everything comes back.
6:51Speaker 4Headache,
6:52Speaker 4joint pain, brain fog. My hair is thinning. I'm not feeling good. Low energy. I'm anemic at this point. It was brutal. And I'm like, this is bullshit.
7:03Speaker 4I've changed everything. Mhmm. I don't use those shampoos. I don't use the creams my body's absorbing. Like, what the hell is wrong? It's a pain in the ass, dude. So I'm working at this hoity toity gym,
7:14Speaker 4and my buddy, Colton, came up to me and he goes, I have something that'll fix it. And I'm like, sure you do. Yeah. Sure you do. Because I need a 6 foot 7 guy telling me, a 5 foot 5 girl, what I need to fix myself. And
7:28Speaker 4so I drank the water.
7:30Speaker 4It tasted amazing.
7:32Speaker 4It's, like, smooth and silky. I was like, okay, this is pretty awesome.
7:36Speaker 4And he told me the price of the machine, and I was like, ah, screw you. Yeah. This is not happening. Not happening. This
7:42Speaker 4yeah. I'm like, you're just trying to make a buck off me. There's nothing different.
7:45Speaker 4So what he did though, without realizing it, was he planted a seed. And I love that because it left me the space to do the research. And I had access to labs and research articles because of going to college.
7:59Speaker 4So while I was going to college, I started asking all these questions to my professors because we're talking about food.
8:05Speaker 4No one's talking about water.
8:08Speaker 1Why
8:09Speaker 4are we not talking about water if I'm getting a degree or certification
8:13Speaker 4in holistic health? Like food, food, you can go without for weeks. Oh, that was your actual degree that you were going to college.
8:21Speaker 4It's
8:22Speaker 4really awesome. It's a lot of science.
8:25Speaker 4Yay. So it's fun. But
8:27Speaker 3But yeah, we, you would go, what, 40 days without food, but when you go 3 days without water, you're dead. 3 days without water, you're dead. What's more important to talk about? Water.
8:36Speaker 4For me, it's water. Yeah. Because
8:39Speaker 4if something
8:40Speaker 4not having the substance in my body for 3 days can kill me, but I can go 40 days fasting.
8:46Speaker 4There's
8:47Speaker 2something off about our priorities of what we're talking about. True. It's so crazy when you just stop and think logically. Yeah.
8:54Speaker 2How logic is just always good.
8:58Speaker 4Oh, it's it's also like
8:59Speaker 41 of those things of
9:03Speaker 4oh, the the doomsday is coming. Uh-oh.
9:06Speaker 1That will.
9:07Speaker 3Yep. This It's
9:09Speaker 4why
9:10Speaker 4aren't we asking the question?
9:13Speaker 4Who stopped us from asking it?
9:15Speaker 2Why aren't the doctors That
9:17Speaker 4part. Well, it's funny too, because in 17 years, I've had probably around 30 doctors in my care because doctors aren't required to take a nutrition certification.
9:26Speaker 4So,
9:28Speaker 4but we have what's called an allopathic
9:30Speaker 4healthcare system. It's reactive, it's diagnostic,
9:34Speaker 4it is you
9:35Speaker 4walk in, the doctor says you have cancer. Now you must change your life. When you look at holistic or alternative ways of living,
9:44Speaker 4it's completely proactive.
9:46Speaker 4It's preventative.
9:48Speaker 4It's harder upfront
9:50Speaker 4because you don't have the urgency
9:53Speaker 4of a diagnosis. You don't have the cancer. You don't have the gastritis. You don't have the acid reflux. So why would I limit my acids? Why would I do all this stuff?
10:01Speaker 4It's not until people get the diagnosis that they actually seek change, and I'm part of that. Yeah. I didn't yeah.
10:07Speaker 4Yeah. I didn't look for water until I needed to. Mhmm. So Colton planted this seed of, I have this magic water. I think he actually culted that too.
10:17Speaker 4It tasted great. It felt great. I knew I wanted it. I didn't like the price. I didn't see the value
10:23Speaker 4in it. And he was very young.
10:26Speaker 4We're both very young. He didn't ask the right questions. And so 6 years go by.
10:32Speaker 4And throughout those 6 years, I'm researching this. I'm
10:36Speaker 4sending waters and to labs. I'm asking friends to test it. I am seeking 3rd party information because I have a little distrust in
10:47Speaker 4big pharma and in the government, know, all those are gonna be? -Just a little bit.
10:51Speaker 4So
10:53Speaker 4for 6 years, I researched it and I had my 1st daughter River,
10:58Speaker 4great name for your sunglasses for my daughter.
11:01Speaker 4And I went through postpartum depression and I just remember seeing
11:05Speaker 4myself as so
11:07Speaker 4low vibrational.
11:09Speaker 4My breast milk was low, my body was low, my mindset was low, and I was eating well. Meeting all the right things. I'm resting. I'm doing all the things they're saying something's still not right. My autoimmune comes back. So
11:22Speaker 4I call Colton.
11:24Speaker 4I say, Can I just get some of that water from you?
11:27Speaker 4And he's a smart sales guy. So he goes, Yeah, come over to my house. You touch the machine. You fill it up. I'm like, oh, looking back now, I'm like, you know exactly what you're doing. Well done, my friend. Makes sense. And
11:39Speaker 4he said, look, I'm having this event this weekend.
11:42Speaker 4If you decide to get your machine now, I'll give you a free ticket to the event. And I was like, sold. Done. Called my husband. I said, I love you. I'm asking for your support, not your permission. This is what I'm doing. And I have the best husband in the world. And he jumped right on. And what happened over the next 90 days is why I'm sitting here right now and I can't shut up about it. So
12:04Speaker 4within the 1st 2 weeks,
12:06Speaker 4brain fog goes away,
12:08Speaker 4joint pain goes away.
12:10Speaker 4Pretty freaking awesome. Sure.
12:12Speaker 4Within the 1st 4 weeks,
12:15Speaker 4not having 7 cups of coffee anymore. Mhmm. As a postpartum mom, coffee was life. Like, tap me up with an IV. Let's go. So to all of a sudden go to 2 cups a day and not feel the energy crash, that was insane to me.
12:31Speaker 4Now, the skin cycle has between a 30 and 60 day replenishment.
12:35Speaker 4So every 30 to 60 days, your skin replenishes yourself. We shed, basically. We shed our skin like a snake. Shed like a snake. And that's why you wanna dust your house because most dust is actually dead skin cells floating around. Somehow dead skin is under your bed. It gets everywhere, dude. It gets why you wanna shower before you go to sleep at night Mhmm. Instead of living all day with all of your dead, disgusting skin and then just roll around in your sheets.
13:00Speaker 4Here's the thing too. The skin is the only organ that does that.
13:03Speaker 4Yours you're we have an exposed organ. Mhmm. It's the largest organ of your body. And so a lot of how healthy or unhealthy we are, you can see on your skin.
13:15Speaker 4Bags under your eyes, dry skin, redness, blotchiness,
13:19Speaker 4itchy skin, infected.
13:21Speaker 4You can tell when someone's hydrated, healthy, like thriving and when not. So at about the 45 day mark,
13:30Speaker 4all of a sudden I realized my skin is still on my body.
13:34Speaker 4It's that was huge. It was it was a victory when you go from, like, having sores all over your scalp Yeah. Till you can't shower because it hurts, and then you have gross hair that you throw up in a bun and all this stuff. Like, it it was embarrassing. Yeah. Isolating,
13:51Speaker 4lonely,
13:52Speaker 4exhausting.
13:53Speaker 4So at 45 days, I'm like, oh crap, it it's just delayed. It's coming back. It's coming back. 60 days, it doesn't come back.
14:03Speaker 490 days, I'm actually
14:05Speaker 4glowing.
14:06Speaker 4Like, what the hell?
14:09Speaker 4Women spend billions of dollars a year on beauty products to make them glow. Yeah. I got mine in my kitchen. Okay. So now we're at 90 days. And because I'm a skeptical person,
14:23Speaker 4my dad was in market research for 40 years. So I understand how marketing works. I understand placebo effect. I understand that we can convince ourselves a lot of times. So- what works if it you think it's working. Exactly.
14:36Speaker 4And if it works for you, fantastic.
14:39Speaker 4I like to know. Mhmm. I don't wanna go with an anecdote
14:43Speaker 4with a case study. I want facts, figures, science, especially if I'm gonna share it with people. Sure. So I went to the 2 sickest people I knew, my mom and dad. Uh-oh. I didn't have to walk far.
14:56Speaker 4My dad, at that point, was 300 pounds,
14:59Speaker 4stressed out,
15:01Speaker 4stenosis of the spine,
15:03Speaker 4was getting gout every
15:06Speaker 460 to 90 He
15:07Speaker 4was a big drinker at that time. Big drinker, high stress, all that.
15:12Speaker 4So I put him on the water, and I put my mom on the water. My mom, rheumatoid arthritis,
15:16Speaker 4autoimmune,
15:18Speaker 4low energy, high brain fog, and chronic dry eye. Like, always dry as she was going through a bottle of drops a week. Wow. 2 weeks go by,
15:28Speaker 4and my mom goes,
15:29Speaker 4oh my god. She calls me. She goes, oh my god. I opened the peanut butter by myself.
15:35Speaker 4Because her hands were so swollen and so arthritic. She couldn't open
15:41Speaker 4bottle. She had to ask my dad or my brother or me to do it. So she got her independence back. Yep. Brain fog went down. Her skin started clearing up just like mine did,
15:51Speaker 4and she's finding a little more energy. Like, okay, that's 2 for 2. It's huge. But it's both women, so I need a guy to come in and tell me what's I'm like, come on, dad. Let's go. And my dad is big 1 of the biggest skeptics in the world, not because he's an asshole, although he can be. He would be a self professed asshole.
16:08Speaker 4But because he likes to know. He likes to know. He worked in market research. He knows how easy it is to manipulate people.
16:15Speaker 4So he goes 1st thing is he refused to drink it. Uh-huh. He goes, I'm not gonna drink I just went to Costco and bought a big thing of Dasani. I'm gonna drink that 1st before I drink your stuff. I was like, okay, dad. That's fine. Finishes Dasani. Couple weeks go by, go over to his house. At this point, his gout was on his toe so bad he couldn't walk.
16:37Speaker 4I put him on the water for 2 weeks, and I'm like,
16:41Speaker 4what's your experience been like?
16:43Speaker 4He goes, Well, my foot doesn't hurt. He's like, Oh, it was I lost a little weight.
16:48Speaker 4I'm not drinking,
16:50Speaker 4and my stomach doesn't hurt. I was like, Oh, could it be the water? He goes, I don't know. I don't know. Maybe, maybe. A month goes by, gout doesn't come back. 2 months go by, gout hasn't come back. Acid reflux is gone. All of this stuff might help 3 months, 4 months later, my dad goes, All right, give me a machine. I was like, Let's go.
17:09Speaker 4Ever since then,
17:11Speaker 4I have seen
17:13Speaker 4And I make no medical claims. This is just personal experience of what I've witnessed and what I myself have gone through. You know that well. Oh my gosh. No medical claims here. But what I have witnessed in the past
17:25Speaker 47 years of being face to face, belly to belly with people changing their water is I have seen gastritis
17:32Speaker 4magically go away,
17:35Speaker 4acid reflux
17:36Speaker 4cured.
17:37Speaker 4We're talking
17:38Speaker 4personally dozens of people off
17:41Speaker 4Pepcid,
17:42Speaker 4off Tums,
17:44Speaker 4off all of these prescription things.
17:47Speaker 4We're seeing reversal of throat ulcers from people who have had a lot of acid popping up. I'm watching skin transformations,
17:56Speaker 4people who have cystic acne since their teen years, all of a sudden their skin is better.
18:01Speaker 4I'm seeing brain fog lift from people, moms,
18:05Speaker 4their breast milk goes from little to just booming supply, which that is liquid gold. Holy
18:12Speaker 4shit, that was amazing.
18:14Speaker 4And so I'm seeing
18:16Speaker 4thing after thing after thing, and I'm like, well, I need to know why.
18:20Speaker 3Yeah. So what was wrong with you? Why? And why did the water change it? Yeah.
18:24Speaker 4Think of it this way. Like how much water do you drink a day typically,
18:28Speaker 3if you had to roughly guess? I'd say, Leah, this thing probably, well,
18:33Speaker 4probably 4 of those. Okay. So like 0.5 a gallon to 0.75 of a gallon. Okay. About the same. About the same. Cool. Same. Okay. Same.
18:43Speaker 4What type of prior
18:45Speaker 4to us, prior to you meeting me and having the experience you've had, what water were you drinking? Tap water. Tap water.
18:52Speaker 2Not tap water. I would buy, like like, I don't know, from the store. Okay. For sure. What made you With the I would I always drink with silk, Celtic salt.
19:01Speaker 4You were remineralizing it? Every time. Why why were you remineralizing it? Because it doesn't absorb.
19:06Speaker 4There it is.
19:07Speaker 3So with tap water, what made you choose tap water? Well, I'm from because of because of just ease, and I don't really I'm not, like
19:15Speaker 3I'm not as fancy. I don't know. Yeah. I don't care to have it. I know it tastes bad. It tastes bad here. I'm from Seattle where tap water tastes great. Tap water tastes great in Washington. Here, then, you know, I don't know. It's just too much of a pain, so I just I don't really just whatever. Tastes bad, but I'm just drinking. Don't drink. A lot of people are in the same spot as you Yeah. And same spot as you. It's they have this idea that either all water's the same. Yeah. So what difference if I'm drinking out of the faucet or if I buy the bougie water that came over from Italy? Like, it's just water.
19:45Speaker 4Mhmm. That's how most people classify. It's just water.
19:49Speaker 4When
19:50Speaker 4you start to understand the industry of water,
19:54Speaker 4things come to the surface. The same way, the industry of food, industry of health,
19:59Speaker 4water is a multi billion
20:01Speaker 4dollar a year industry.
20:03Speaker 4Yeah. Water is the number 1 selling beverage
20:08Speaker 4over Number 12
20:11Speaker 41 selling beverage. It beats alcohol.
20:14Speaker 4It beats juices, it beats tea, it beats everything.
20:18Speaker 2That makes sense though. I mean, think about it, if you're running in, in your pot, you're gonna run-in and grab some water. 100%. We these at night usually Yeah, for
20:25Speaker 4for most. We hope it's all good. Unless you got a problem. All the emergency supply of water that people buy or just buy a bunch of case of water to give out to people, blah blah blah, it's always water. It's always water. In the industry of water, then what's the difference between distilled alkaline spring water, mineral water? Oh, yes. So And all the brands. Yeah. And what's the difference? So here's the thing. We'll start with the bigger topic of tap versus bottled or tap we'll call it processed. It's processed water versus tap water. Okay? And even tap water is processed because it has to meet government regulations for safety so the people don't die of bacteria and all that type of stuff.
21:02Speaker 4So
21:04Speaker 4tap water is the most commonly drank water outside of when people are have gone from their home. So most people go for what, like, a Brita or something like that to do what they can to filter it. It doesn't do shit. I wish it did. It it's a good start. Yeah. It's a good start. It shows me of interest in this.
21:24Speaker 4I wanna encourage you to keep going,
21:26Speaker 4but there's a lot more to it. So a lot of people have a distrust of tap water. They've heard about the chemicals in it. They've heard about the treatment plants, the fluoride.
21:36Speaker 4And I would argue there's something bigger than fluoride in the water that people need to pay attention to, and that's chlorine. We'll talk we'll come back to write down chlorine. So we come to that.
21:46Speaker 4So tap water, people know it's not the best for them,
21:51Speaker 4which tells me they see a difference in water. They just haven't acknowledged it. It's there under the surface. They're just hibernating. They're sleeping on it. So most people go for
22:01Speaker 4bottled or delivery water. Of course.
22:04Speaker 4Well,
22:05Speaker 4the thing about bottled water in The United States is I don't care if it came from the most beautiful spring it's ever come from.
22:13Speaker 4We have packaging standards
22:16Speaker 4and treatment standards.
22:17Speaker 4They have to put something in the water to prevent algae from growing,
22:22Speaker 4to prevent disease,
22:25Speaker 4and to make sure that it doesn't go and grow bacteria.
22:28Speaker 4Yeah. That's usually
22:31Speaker 4fluoride,
22:32Speaker 4chlorine,
22:33Speaker 4or any of the shit found in tap water.
22:36Speaker 4They're just adding it in a different way.
22:39Speaker 4So 80%,
22:41Speaker 4roughly, the last time I checked the statistics, 80% of bottled water is tap water.
22:47Speaker 3Nice. Do you know You're not Do you know any companies that are just feeding us tap water and bottling it? Coca Cola, Pepsi Co. Which is Dasani. The Coca Cola is Dasani, Pepsi Co, the Nestle company. It's all, it's all tap water.
23:01Speaker 4They have,
23:02Speaker 4their, their baseline ones and then they have their bougie ones. And when you, when you zoom out and you ask yourself the question,
23:11Speaker 4who owns this company and who owns that company? And you follow the money. Don't follow what people are Follow
23:18Speaker 4the money. Go look at who owns what patent and all that stuff. And you will find there's 5 major companies out there, PepsiCo,
23:26Speaker 4Tesco, Coca Cola, Nestle,
23:28Speaker 4all of that type of stuff.
23:30Speaker 4And they're controlling the majority of the food and water industry.
23:34Speaker 4And so when you're buying
23:35Speaker 4bottled water,
23:37Speaker 4I would argue you're not buying water. 1, you're renting it because
23:42Speaker 4you give the bottle back, whether you're throwing it away or recycling it, and you don't own it. It's not in your house, but you're renting it.
23:49Speaker 4But you're also buying the bottle, not the water. Yeah.
23:53Speaker 4Most of the R and D, the research and development goes into the bottle. How does it feel in someone's hand? Do they like the shape of it? Do they like it when it's colder, when it's metal? Do they like it when it's plastic and it's easier and lighter to throw away? What's glass factor into this? How are we sealing this? These questions get asked by companies
24:11Speaker 4with the purpose of not Yeah. Delivering health
24:15Speaker 4but delivering
24:17Speaker 4a sale, making money. And so for me, I stepped back and I said,
24:22Speaker 4water is supposed to be a health product.
24:26Speaker 4Yeah. I would say so. It mostly makes candy. Yeah. Why am I buying a health product from a candy company? Right.
24:33Speaker 4Why am I buying water from a soda company?
24:37Speaker 4Good. Where are they getting this?
24:40Speaker 4What's the process? How much profit are they making off of each sale? Why is a bottle of water at the airport $9
24:47Speaker 4and that same bottle
24:49Speaker 4in my grocery store is 4? Why?
24:52Speaker 4Okay. So these are questions I encourage everyone to ask. Follow it. Find it. Seek it.
24:58Speaker 4And so with bottled water,
25:00Speaker 4we'll divide that into
25:03Speaker 4glass and plastic.
25:05Speaker 4Okay? If you are buying bottled water,
25:08Speaker 4a step above, even though it's treated,
25:11Speaker 4is glass
25:12Speaker 4because glass isn't as,
25:15Speaker 4porous as plastic. Plastic has a we all- What about BPA free? BPA.
25:20Speaker 4Yeah, there's all that stuff. It's funny because a lot of glass
25:23Speaker 4bottled water tests a really high for BPA because of how they seal it at the top. And people forget that the seal at the top, even if the lid is metal, the seal on the inside is plastic. So plastics everywhere. Same for,
25:38Speaker 4canned water, which has become a big thing. Alright, yeah. You can take chemicals. I encourage you go on YouTube and find the chemicals you need to absorb aluminum, and you can put a can in those chemicals.
25:49Speaker 4You take it out 24 hours later, it's a plastic lining. So you're getting plastic
25:55Speaker 4even in your aluminum stuff, your glass stuff and all that, which is why I say stop renting and take ownership over your house. What about, like, the box box water seems to be the new thing. Yeah. How does the box not disintegrate? It's wax around the plastic.
26:08Speaker 4Could be.
26:10Speaker 4Wax is expensive and it melts according to heat. So when you think about like They
26:15Speaker 1do. I ain't drinking that. I'm not. It tastes weird.
26:20Speaker 4So it's like, I would encourage everyone to take a step back and be like, how did the bottle of water get here?
26:27Speaker 4Because it didn't just magically appear outside of the grocery store sitting in the boxes.
26:33Speaker 4It was packaged at a factory.
26:36Speaker 4Factory's usually temperature controlled.
26:39Speaker 4Then they put these things on a truck. Mhmm. Usually not temperature controlled. So plastic
26:44Speaker 4swells
26:46Speaker 4and shrinks depending on how hot or how cold it is.
26:50Speaker 4So now it's on a truck, swelling because it's probably hot,
26:54Speaker 4and then they put it on a plane.
26:56Speaker 4It shrinks
26:57Speaker 4because it's cold. You're going up high. Then it comes back down. They put it on a train, swells again. Then they put it maybe on an air conditioned truck. Cool. It shrinks again. Then it arrives at the store.
27:08Speaker 4And where do they usually put the bottled water to display it? In the middle of In middle of the In the hot refrigerator. Or
27:15Speaker 4out front.
27:17Speaker 4Many times have you walked by a grocery store and there's these pallets of water outside with the sun beating down on them? It's like, these bottles have gone through a journey before it's ever in your hand.
27:29Speaker 4And it's swelled and it's contracted so many times that that's why it's leaching the microplastics.
27:36Speaker 4When you have bottled water, and remember, it's all a sales tactic, the spring water.
27:42Speaker 4Yeah. So again, so like, what the hell does that mean? Spring water means they're taking it from an underground spring. They really are. Okay. So the source is the spring.
27:52Speaker 3And does somebody verify that and make sure that they're not making have false
27:55Speaker 4to verify it. So,
27:58Speaker 4a good example is Mountain Valley Spring Water. It has been verified time and time again. It is coming from a spring. And I would argue,
28:06Speaker 4if you are at that spring and you stick your face in it and you take a big old drink, best thing, go for it. Okay. Yes, please.
28:15Speaker 4So long as there's not- There's only very few natural springs that you can actually drink in. Uh-huh. And it's now we're seeing a lot of contamination of natural springs because springs are usually by farmland
28:25Speaker 4because they're using that water to water crops. And so what do they put on crops? Pesticides. Pesticides, insecticides, herbicides
28:32Speaker 4that goes underneath the surface. Where does it go? Into the spring.
28:37Speaker 4So I would argue, if everyone has a natural spring in their backyard, go for it. You don't we don't need to talk. You have a great resource. There's no herbicides, insecticides, pesticides in it.
28:49Speaker 3So the natural spring ones, so Green Mountain, whatever. Cool. They they do what to their spring from water?
28:54Speaker 4The spring. Mhmm. You have to process it. Yeah. It has to be processed. Yeah. Because now, let's say that spring does get,
29:02Speaker 4a bacteria
29:03Speaker 4in it because it's outside. It's exposed to the elements. Shit happens.
29:07Speaker 4The company cannot take on that liability.
29:11Speaker 4So they have to process it. How do they process it? Fluoride. Chemicals. Chemicals and a bunch of stuff. How they process it will vary. And so what happens is you have spring water,
29:21Speaker 4then you have
29:23Speaker 4RO,
29:25Speaker 4distilled water, those types of things. Reverse
29:28Speaker 4osmosis or RO
29:29Speaker 4is a way of sending
29:32Speaker 4water through a really thick series of membranes.
29:36Speaker 4Okay? And what you're doing is as water goes through,
29:40Speaker 4you're catching
29:41Speaker 4all of the extra stuff.
29:43Speaker 4And reverse osmosis water was never designed
29:47Speaker 4for us to drink long term. The original design of reverse osmosis water was for desalinization
29:54Speaker 4to put this on warships so they can stay at sea longer
29:58Speaker 4and for the mechanical and industry
30:01Speaker 4because
30:02Speaker 4tap water was messing up their machines because tap water has minerals in it. So if you put this in a machine, it grinds the gears and it wears down more. So
30:12Speaker 4reverse osmosis water was actually designed for industry
30:16Speaker 4And somehow along the way,
30:19Speaker 4people have known that shit's in their water.
30:22Speaker 4They want to get the stuff out. How do I get it out? RO. I take everything
30:27Speaker 4out of it. And I would say, that's a great start.
30:30Speaker 3But
30:31Speaker 4But now if your water doesn't have anything in it, it's just h 2 0, 2 hydrogens, 1 oxygen.
30:38Speaker 4There's no minerals.
30:40Speaker 4If you have the best diet in the world in The United States, you are still probably mineral deficient.
30:47Speaker 4Because if you look at our industry of agriculture for the past hundred years, we are seeing nutritional
30:52Speaker 4value go down and down down. Yeah. So
30:56Speaker 4you need to remineralize
30:58Speaker 4your reverse osmosis
31:00Speaker 4and distilled water. The other thing about reverse osmosis and distilled water,
31:04Speaker 4and you don't take my word for it. Go to the pool supply store, go to Walmart, wherever you are, and you buy chlorine drops. Okay?
31:13Speaker 4And pH drops. PH is potential hydrogen, so it's showing you how much hydrogen is or is not in whatever is there.
31:21Speaker 4So go buy the chlorine drops, go buy the pH drops. If you take your pH drops
31:27Speaker 4and dip it into
31:28Speaker 4the reverse osmosis and the distilled water, they're acidic.
31:33Speaker 1So
31:34Speaker 4people who have gout,
31:36Speaker 4uric acid is too high.
31:38Speaker 4People who have acid reflux,
31:41Speaker 4they're wonder they're thinking they're drinking something good. A lot of people who come to me go, I have acid reflux. I can't drink coffee.
31:47Speaker 4I can't have alcohol. I can't do this. So I drink water, but it hurts.
31:51Speaker 4I'm like, yeah, it's acidic.
31:53Speaker 4Water shouldn't be acidic. Water is neutral. What's alkaline water? Alkaline.
32:00Speaker 4So there's something called the pH scale.
32:02Speaker 4And
32:04Speaker 4humans are around the middle, 7.4 is our general pH of our blood. It varies depending on lifestyle, all that type of stuff. If you go
32:12Speaker 4lower, that's more basic.
32:14Speaker 4So that's like things like
32:17Speaker 4bleach and all that type of stuff is down on that level.
32:21Speaker 4And then if oh, pardon me. I got it. Yep. No, I did it right. There it is. That's acidic. So lower is acidic, and then higher is alkaline.
32:29Speaker 1True.
32:30Speaker 4So alkalinity
32:32Speaker 4means that you've taken the potential hydrogen
32:35Speaker 4from 7, from neutral, or even slightly acidic with a lot of these cases, and you've added something in
32:42Speaker 4either through chemical or through electrical exposure
32:46Speaker 4to make it alkaline. And what I mean by chemical or electrical,
32:50Speaker 4because people see alkaline water in the grocery stores, right? Very
32:55Speaker 4different from the machine you have.
32:57Speaker 1Okay.
32:58Speaker 4The grocery stores use chemicals.
33:01Speaker 4You're using electricity.
33:04Speaker 4So what's happening at the grocery store,
33:07Speaker 4easiest
33:07Speaker 4way I can say is those pH drops come back. Right? I want everyone to buy a Sprite.
33:12Speaker 4Pour it in a glass
33:14Speaker 4or some pH drops in there. It's gonna show as acidic, probably around a 2.53.
33:20Speaker 4Okay?
33:22Speaker 4You take baking soda
33:24Speaker 4and pour that in,
33:26Speaker 4you can make it alkaline
33:28Speaker 4all the way up to an 11.
33:30Speaker 4Doesn't mean it's good for you. No.
33:32Speaker 4So if you take those alkaline water bottles in the grocery store, and most people don't read nutrition labels on water.
33:40Speaker 2No. No. No.
33:41Speaker 4No. Right? I then probably blew your mind. Like, when was the last time you're like, I need to read the nutrition facts on my water? Right?
33:48Speaker 1In another word. Yeah. There are.
33:51Speaker 4Alright. So you go in the store,
33:53Speaker 4you buy a bottle of alkaline water, you turn it around,
33:57Speaker 4and it will say
33:58Speaker 4it's gone through distillation or RO water. Usually, it's RO,
34:03Speaker 4which has a lot of water waste to go along with it as well. And then it'll say,
34:08Speaker 4added
34:09Speaker 4potassium
34:10Speaker 4bicarbonate,
34:11Speaker 4which is baking soda,
34:14Speaker 4and all this other stuff. I think the last time I looked, there was like 9 added ingredients for alkaline water. So in the holistic health world-
34:23Speaker 1Baking soda's good.
34:25Speaker 4Baking soda could be good in the right amount,
34:28Speaker 4but-
34:29Speaker 1But-
34:30Speaker 4Either you have a filter or you are the filter.
34:36Speaker 4Okay?
34:37Speaker 4So if I'm consuming
34:39Speaker 4more baking soda and more additives
34:42Speaker 4than I ever had before, people are drinking 2, 3, 4 l
34:47Speaker 4of that water a day,
34:50Speaker 4your body wasn't designed to process it all the time.
34:54Speaker 4We have an incredible
34:56Speaker 4filtration system in our body. Our kidneys, our liver, our lymphatic, it is
35:01Speaker 4brilliantly designed.
35:03Speaker 4When you take us back home to how we were designed and eating the foods of how we were designed and existing in the environment we are supposed to exist in, blue light, radiation,
35:15Speaker 4all that type of stuff, When you get back to it, our body is
35:19Speaker 4masterful
35:20Speaker 4at processing this stuff.
35:23Speaker 4What's happened is we've gone so far away from nature
35:28Speaker 4that people are asking, why are we getting sick more frequently?
35:33Speaker 1That's a lovely question. Exactly.
35:36Speaker 4Exactly. Where do we start? Do we have the next 10 years available?
35:40Speaker 1Seriously,
35:42Speaker 1that sucks.
35:44Speaker 3That's what I mean, this has been in true history as hell. Yeah. So I would like you to do the case study. You talked to me a little while ago, like JD has had some gut issues. I would like to have all of above. You have all of it? Yeah. Not gut, but I have GHRP- Okay, so you've After years. Yeah. So like, what would you recommend? So my broader question is gonna be like, so should every individual person be tested and then know what they and then bake their water to be the correct pH, blah, blah, for them. And then what maybe basically put use him as an example. Yeah. So Ask him some questions. Tell him what he should do. Yeah. I pitched I pitched a lot of problems. It's only fair to give solutions to it. Yeah. So the 1st solution is having a filtration
36:26Speaker 4of some sort. Like I said, it's a great start, but there's a whole slew of stuff that happens after filtration
36:33Speaker 4that
36:34Speaker 4gives your water a charge.
36:37Speaker 4So what I mean by that before I get into JD is
36:40Speaker 4most of the water that is in our industry, whether it's tap or bottled,
36:46Speaker 4actually takes energy away from us because it's reading as a acidic water, because it has something called an ORP,
36:55Speaker 4oxidation
36:56Speaker 4reduction potential,
36:57Speaker 4ORP,
36:58Speaker 4that's positive.
37:00Speaker 4It means it's taking energy for your body to process this
37:05Speaker 4and to filter it through. That's crazy. It's crazy. So this is why people are like, I'm exhausted
37:10Speaker 4all the time. Well, no shit. Like, your body's working overtime right now. Like eating celery.
37:16Speaker 4That part too. So with JD,
37:19Speaker 4when he got the machine, he dove he's like, 9.5.
37:22Speaker 1Let's go. That's what the highest is. I love that. But he didn't think, yeah, he was on the back. Yeah. Was on the that's when it was not set. That's like the best. It was just
37:30Speaker 4the setting that it came on. I love that. And I remember the last time I was here, you're like, yeah, it's giving me a little bit of some gut issues and all that. Oh, I was thinking it was that was the culprit. Know, it didn't cause. Yeah. But I remember you saying that
37:45Speaker 4things without getting too into what's happening in your body, but that things weren't as solid as they needed to be at the restroom. Mhmm. And so what that tells me is, 1, you're either going through a big detox, or 2, something's not at homeostasis in your body. Homeostasis is just your baseline. Yeah. I went through a lot of change in the last 6 months. I think that I finally have righted the ship, but it was a bitch. It's a long It sucks. Crazy process. Yes. And so when I came, I said, hey, I want you to drop your pH down. Yeah. Because She literally labels it. JD, 25.
38:20Speaker 4That's why I love Brandy. Because She takes good care of me. What I know about you from your beautiful wife, I love her to pieces, and what you've told me and what Brandy has told me is that you're
38:30Speaker 4pretty freaking on it when it comes to your nutrition and your health, your fasting, your exercise. So
38:35Speaker 4that takes a lot of the unknowns away, and it says, okay,
38:40Speaker 4this isn't quite right for your body right now. Because you eat a lot of meat, you eat a lot of fat, you eat a lot of protein,
38:48Speaker 4you actually need a higher stomach pH to break all of that down. So if you're drinking
38:53Speaker 4alkaline water while you're eating, you're
38:57Speaker 4canceling out
38:58Speaker 4the your body's natural ability to break that down. Interesting. So what I said to you is I want you to drop your pH so it's not so intense,
39:06Speaker 4and don't drink water while
39:08Speaker 4you're eating and for 15 to 30 minutes after. So for anyone watching, that's universal. Whether you have this machine or not, don't drink water while you're eating because you wanna maintain your stomach acid.
39:20Speaker 4Now with you,
39:21Speaker 4having
39:23Speaker 4GERD
39:24Speaker 4means your body has taken acid production over to the other side of chaos. Yeah. Where this valve that prevents
39:31Speaker 4acid from coming up, Normally, acid production is only turned on to that level when we're eating. GERD is yours is always on,
39:40Speaker 4and the valve is slightly
39:42Speaker 4open. Yeah. So it's seeping into the esophagus, and GERD is really uncomfortable.
39:47Speaker 4Sucks ass. It freaking sucks.
39:50Speaker 4It coughs constantly. Ruins people's life. Big
39:53Speaker 4things that people have to watch out for is ulcers of the throat,
39:57Speaker 4potential,
39:58Speaker 4cancer of the esophagus,
40:00Speaker 4tongue and mouth cancer. Because when you're constantly in a state of acidity, your
40:06Speaker 4body
40:07Speaker 4doesn't know what to do with it. It was not designed to be that high all the time. Yeah. So what was the result out of curiosity from dropping down and making that change?
40:17Speaker 2And I can't say consistently made that change. No, no, but have you made sure The 8.5 plus. Yeah. Like, have I, like, given it 30 minutes after before I after I eat? I don't know because I that 1, I didn't know that. And it's labeled JD 8.5
40:32Speaker 2for me. That's my team. Yeah.
40:34Speaker 2Don't do it. But do change it to 8.5? I've been drinking the 8.5. I constantly change it to 8.5 all the time, so I've been doing that.
40:43Speaker 2That's victory, by the way. Well done. Yeah. Well done. I'm 1 of the things about, I mean, us just in general, like, if I'm off, I'm gonna fix it. And it's just
40:53Speaker 2these things I've been dealing with with, like, autoimmune
40:56Speaker 2and then the GERD,
40:58Speaker 2I mean, I almost have just kind of given up on those 2 things because they just have been lingering for years. I mean, autoimmune
41:04Speaker 2sucks.
41:05Speaker 2Yeah. Most people have it, you know? Yeah. I was diagnosed with it out of nowhere like you. Yeah. Luckily, I was in 16 because that would have sucked, but I was running a mortgage company. Oh, that's just a bad night. I had a dress night, and I started getting the welts bad. All over my head. See, I was like, what
41:20Speaker 2the hell is this? Mhmm. Big old welts.
41:23Speaker 2And, I cured it for quite some time, maybe a year from the carnivore diet. Yeah. That's why I did it. 100%. Yeah. And then like you said,
41:31Speaker 2as soon as I strayed from it, a little bit, it came back and it's been here now ever since. Yeah. And, I mean, I have found with a lot of trial and error, it's,
41:41Speaker 2like butter.
41:42Speaker 2Mhmm.
41:43Speaker 2It's basically like milk and just dairy. Yeah. But the thing that sucks is they're like ice cream. Damn straight. They're like Greek yogurt. Yeah. Just like, and my wife's like, what do you do this stuff to yourself? I'm like We'll have to come back and we'll talk about a 2 cows versus the cows that we have in The United States. Like,
42:00Speaker 4it's a whole other topic. But with all that stuff. Yeah.
42:04Speaker 2So, no, I have not been healed from it. Okay. By any means, have I been doing it to exact whether I probably should. I'd know probably not because I didn't know that. Yeah.
42:14Speaker 2I'm pretty disciplined. If I need to do something, I'll do it well.
42:19Speaker 2But yeah, I have lost a little bit of hope, to be honest with you. Like, I've had this crap on my head for so long,
42:24Speaker 2and I've been coughing up crap for so long that I'm just it's my life.
42:29Speaker 2It don't even, like,
42:30Speaker 2it just is what it is. Yeah. You know what I mean? 100%.
42:33Speaker 2But, like, if there's something that, like, I thought could fix it. But if you're drinking the water Yeah. You're still showering in that water. Thank you. I was You know what I mean? That's why as you're talking, I'm like, that's great, but we're still, like, showering and bathing in it. There's so many different touch points when it comes to water because
42:50Speaker 4even if people have the best machines,
42:53Speaker 4the best filtration,
42:55Speaker 4the best everything,
42:57Speaker 4we are using water
42:59Speaker 4in so many places that people aren't thinking of. We're brushing our teeth, we're washing our face, we're giving our pets that water, we're giving our kids water, we're showering, we're doing our laundry, all this stuff. And most people in The United States,
43:11Speaker 4do they take hot showers or cold showers?
43:14Speaker 4Hot. Hot for sure. Hot. And so what happens, this brings us back to chlorine.
43:19Speaker 4So I would argue that chlorine is actually a bigger thing to watch out for than fluoride. Fluoride, we know it's bad. We know it calcifies the pineal gland. We know all the detrimental effects of that. Chlorine has kind of been skipped over.
43:32Speaker 4But if I say chlorine, what do you think of? Pool. Pool.
43:36Speaker 3Jacuzzi. Smelling and burning, turning blonde haired, drinking,
43:40Speaker 3probably something not something I wanna drink. Yeah. When my dog was die or was sick, had a seizure, I went to the vet and I said, I think he's probably drinking the pool water
43:49Speaker 3because that's that is am I right? He's poisoning himself. So that's what I said. And he's like, no.
43:54Speaker 4Like, no. He can drink the whole pool. Doesn't matter. He actually has cancer in his brain. How did he did he get the cancer? That's a good question. Absolutely. Now there's the secondary 1. So most people are having a hot shower.
44:07Speaker 4And when you heat up water, what happens to it?
44:10Speaker 3It, I don't know. It thins. I know there are pores open up. Steam.
44:16Speaker 4Yeah. It's the water cycle. Right? You heat it, it becomes steam. It precipitates
44:21Speaker 4up into a cloud. It comes back down. You go through it again and again and again. So what's happening with hot showers, you just hit the nail on the head, is you're heating up chlorinated water molecules with
44:32Speaker 4all the other crap that's in your tap water.
44:35Speaker 1Mhmm.
44:36Speaker 4And taking a deep breath in the shower.
44:39Speaker 4Mhmm. And now it's going straight into your lungs. Because our skin is a good nut. I mean, I I mean, I just can't imagine, like, there's a difference between drinking something and, like, having it touch your skin. Yeah. There is. But you're absorbing it no matter what. This is why women, if they get hormone therapy, their estrogen is usually a cream.
44:55Speaker 4I'm rubbing it, I'm absorbing it. Very similar to having pellet therapy for hormone replacement for women as well, only that's a slow release under the surface. And
45:05Speaker 4under the tongue, can have other forms of getting your hormones in. So it's the same thing with us, and that's where we our skin is constantly bombarded by free radicals just existing.
45:18Speaker 4Like, if you hold it- Everywhere. If you hold a cell phone, congratulations,
45:21Speaker 4you have free radicals. Like, it's in your hand. So unless you live in a bubble in the wilderness,
45:26Speaker 4like, you are exposed to it all the time.
45:29Speaker 4And so your skin is absorbing
45:32Speaker 4chlorine. I think it's something like you absorb about a liter
45:36Speaker 4for a 10 to 15 minute shower.
45:38Speaker 4And that's why with kids, if they have a fever,
45:41Speaker 4you put them in a lukewarm water, not just to cool their body down, but they're absorbing it. You're rehydrating
45:47Speaker 4them. So your pores open in a hot shower. You're inhaling this chlorine.
45:52Speaker 4So if anyone out there is showering, you need a filter for your shower. I have 1. I do. I actually got 1 on purpose. Yeah. So make sure it filters out chlorine.
46:01Speaker 4You can look in the slip. I have a machine that's made by the same company that does the water. Okay. Because what they did is they made this People laugh at me because they're like, Well, why don't you get the small ones that attach to the showerhead?
46:15Speaker 4I'm like, Well, that's fine for you. I have the I have the memory of a goldfish.
46:20Speaker 4I'm not gonna remember to replace that thing every 40 days. Oh. Yeah.
46:25Speaker 1Yeah.
46:26Speaker 4He
46:27Speaker 4just
46:28Speaker 4yeah. No. Same with fridge filters. Yeah. Those have to be replaced too, and people aren't doing it. Yeah. And same for the filters and drinking fountains. Like, this is why I don't drink in public drinking fountains.
46:38Speaker 4So with the small shower filters are a great start. I don't have the capacity to remember to change that frequently, so I got what's called an Nespa from this company.
46:48Speaker 4It's a big tank that sits either in or outside of your shower. It's freaking awesome.
46:53Speaker 4And why I love it is the water goes through that tank 1st.
46:58Speaker 4It removes all the chlorine. Wow. It's like something like 95%
47:01Speaker 4of chlorine is removed, and then it removes a bunch of other stuff too. That's crazy. And here's the added bonus. And if you have skin issues, we'll have to talk 1 on 1 because same thing. Same. Those welts
47:13Speaker 4suck.
47:15Speaker 4Can't wear a hat. They itch. They're sticky. They hurt. Trying to wash your hair or wash your scalp. Oh,
47:22Speaker 4screw that. Yeah. So I hear you on that, and I had the same thing. So the Inespa, not only does it filter, but it has these rocks from Okinawa hot springs.
47:32Speaker 4And so the water goes through these rocks getting remineralized
47:36Speaker 4with the right minerals.
47:38Speaker 4And so you end up having a Japanese hot spring in your house. So with these 2 machines, it's I have a spring in my house, and I have a hot spring in my house. So I've literally eliminated the 2 major sources of exposure
47:52Speaker 4when it comes to water just by focusing on my bathroom
47:56Speaker 4and on my kitchen.
47:58Speaker 2Right this 2nd, as my wife is listening to this podcast- Your credit card is out. Right? I
48:04Speaker 2know you're listening to this, babe, and she has already ordered it. I know her. My phone just buzzed, so maybe that 1.
48:11Speaker 4So,
48:12Speaker 4yeah, so it's like if a lot of people get caught up in,
48:17Speaker 4there's a lot of information

48:20Speaker 4and people are very attached to their food. Like, if I went to JD and I said, I want you to go vegan. Push your limits, train with precision,

49:37Speaker 4And you'd be like, fuck you. I did it for months. I did it for 4 months. Yeah. Yeah. It's and I have done
49:44Speaker 4every single diet out there because
49:47Speaker 4I like- When you have a objective,
49:49Speaker 4it's need to know. Yeah. I need to know. I need to know what's bullshit, what's not, what's actually working for me, and everyone's a little different. But people are very attached to their food. So when I work with health clients,
50:01Speaker 4I usually leave their food alone for a little bit.
50:05Speaker 4And let's talk about your water
50:08Speaker 4because they're usually not very attached to it. If I say, Hey, instead of drinking tap water, drink this. They're like, okay. Yeah. Water's water because that's what we're conditioned to think of. Think most people know that the water's bunk too. Mhmm. Yeah. But
50:21Speaker 2But what are gonna do? What you got. Yeah. What are the options available? Know we're drinking plastic when we drink the bottle. Well, are you gonna do? That's not drink the water? Yeah. And dehydrate and die. Yeah. I mean, if they have, like, they have a glass of water, cool, then we'll get that. But, like, you're gonna drink plastic. Well, and
50:38Speaker 4this what I didn't know before I dove into all of this information was
50:43Speaker 42%
50:44Speaker 4of the world even knows what we're talking about. Yeah.
50:49Speaker 1Yeah. 2% of the rest of the 98 is just give, I'll take any kind of water. It's just water is water. Oh,
50:56Speaker 4and then you go, you zoom out. It's funny because the majority of these machines, like, top sales of these machines right now in this moment are happening in India because the water is so contaminated
51:06Speaker 4out there. And not only does this make a drinking water, it makes a natural sanitizer too.
51:11Speaker 4So when you are constantly exposed to things that we don't see a lot of, I would still argue that everyone needs this.
51:19Speaker 4The sanitizer it makes, the scientific name for it is hypochlorous
51:22Speaker 4acid.
51:24Speaker 4Hypochlorous acid is, believe it or not, trending on TikTok right now. It's hilarious.
51:30Speaker 4I've had this machine for 7 years. I've been talking about it. People are like, no, whatever.
51:35Speaker 4I don't care. All of a sudden, someone on TikTok goes, it comes in this pink bottle,
51:39Speaker 3And it's selling off the shelves. To drink or to sanitize? You can
51:44Speaker 4gargle with it. If you have a tickle in the back of your throat, you can gargle with it. You can use it instead of mouthwash.
51:52Speaker 3And it comes in a pink bottle? No. Our yours comes from the machine. I'm kidding. Okay. Yeah. Well, yeah. So hypochlorous
51:57Speaker 4acid, my friend, my friend Katie, actually, just spent, like, $22
52:02Speaker 4on a bottle, and it ran out because both her kids got sick the 1st week of school. So she's been sanitizing everything. And I was like, why don't you just come over to my house and fill up? She
52:11Speaker 4goes, you just saved me $22.
52:13Speaker 4Yeah. I'm like, yeah. I've had my machine for
52:17Speaker 4almost 8 years now
52:19Speaker 4and I haven't bought a house cleaner
52:21Speaker 4once.
52:22Speaker 4Wow. It's my whole house is completely nontoxic using this machine. And if anybody doesn't know,
52:28Speaker 3like we have a Kangen water machine here and I have tons of friends that have them in their house,
52:35Speaker 3it's a little box that they connect to the waterline. Right? And
52:39Speaker 3what are the different options of setting? You can just just push the button to
52:43Speaker 3change the pH to 8.5
52:46Speaker 1to the hydrochloric acid. Yeah.
52:49Speaker 2You touched it. How dare you? No. It wasn't. Yeah. So it's Well, no. Let's follow that. So you got because it has so many, like, categories.
52:56Speaker 4You have
52:57Speaker 4it's 6 buttons,
52:59Speaker 47 waters.
53:01Speaker 4Okay? So it goes all the way from the lowest pH of 2.5
53:05Speaker 4pH. We talked about the pH scale. So I said the the lower is the cleaning.
53:10Speaker 4So that's because it kills bacteria.
53:13Speaker 4It kills MRSA, E. Coli, all of that gross stuff. Everything that's coming up in the news that's on your blueberries,
53:19Speaker 4it kills.
53:20Speaker 4So when I have my food At 3.0? At 2.5. Okay. 2 point So you're wash your fruit in that? You wash so here's what here's how I make my kids breakfast, okay, and their lunch and their dinner and all that stuff. My remember we said my kid is growing up Yeah. The week above? This starts from the more moment they wake up. I have 3 bowls of water.
53:41Speaker 4If you put pH drops in all of them, you would see the difference in them. So 1 bowl is the 2.5.
53:47Speaker 4That's gonna kill all of the bacteria,
53:50Speaker 4e coli, everything that can contaminate.
53:53Speaker 4Mhmm. I wash my meat in this as well. Just a quick little rinse to get off any contamination from the factory plants. That is 2 5? 2.5 pH.
54:03Speaker 4Then the next bowl I have is 11.5
54:06Speaker 4pH. Now, when you press the 2.5 button, the machine has 2 hoses,
54:11Speaker 4the top hose and the bottom hose. Right. So the 2.5
54:14Speaker 4pH will come out the bottom hose, And you'll know it's coming out because it's gonna smell like bleach.
54:19Speaker 1It smells like chlorine. Hypochlorous
54:22Speaker 4acid. So it has that that cleaning smell to it.
54:27Speaker 4Then, oh, that's an AI image because that's not right. But that's okay. We'll we'll work
54:32Speaker 4I noticed it had 2 pH. No. It's okay. Yeah. But that's so the 2.5 pH has 2 settings. So out of the little hose comes the hypochlorous acid, and out of the big hose comes the veggie wash, the 11.5 pH. It's not just veggie wash. There's
54:47Speaker 4you can use the 11.5
54:49Speaker 4if you have eczema. I'll give you the whole protocol on how to heal those sores a little faster.
54:55Speaker 4Veggie wash, makeup remover,
54:58Speaker 4skin treatment.
54:59Speaker 4There are 1000000
55:01Speaker 4different ways of using this. If you get,
55:04Speaker 4if you go camping and you get poison oak or poison ivy, you can do a compression of the 11.5
55:10Speaker 4pH. My brother has dogs, and he's an amazing dog trainer.
55:16Speaker 4And so what happens
55:18Speaker 4for him is his dogs run on the grass and go in the bushes, and they spray pesticides all over. So his Doberman was having skin issues.
55:27Speaker 4And the doctor's like, oh, well, it's allergies. We'll just give him a pill. Of course. Cha ching. Cha ching. And I said, wait a 2nd. Like, save your money. Just humor me. I gave him a big jug of 11.5.
55:37Speaker 4I said, every time he's out of the grass,
55:40Speaker 4I want you to wipe him down with the cloth, wipe his paws, wipe his coat.
55:45Speaker 4No allergies. Oh. He's fine. That's great. It's the pesticides. And so I have 3 bowls. I have 2.5 to sanitize. I have 11.5.
55:52Speaker 4That's my veggie wash. Because pesticides
55:55Speaker 4are neutralized
55:56Speaker 4with alkalinity.
55:57Speaker 4That's how they break down. Pesticides,
56:00Speaker 4herbicides, and insecticides
56:01Speaker 4are designed to be water resistant.
56:04Speaker 4Why?
56:05Speaker 4Because they were watering the crops, and they need these things to kill the pesticide. Pesticide. People don't wanna pay twice.
56:11Speaker 4Yeah. They don't wanna have their crops sprayed every time it rains. That would be insane for them. So they what they've done is they've made these things, these poisons
56:20Speaker 4water resistant. Yeah. Which is why
56:24Speaker 4washing your fruits and vegetables with tap water not only does nothing, I'll get back to this in a 2nd, it actually adds a bunch of shit. Some of those big and Okay. Oh, we'll come back to that. Remind me to come back to washing fruits and vegetables. So I sanitize.
56:38Speaker 4Now I'm stripping them of all the insecticides, herbicides, pesticides, which, by the way, organic doesn't mean no pesticides. It just means less.
56:46Speaker 4Okay. So organic
56:48Speaker 4doesn't mean no pesticides. Organic. Give me 1. I don't don't make a point to it. There's no more. I'll eat somewhere. Then the 3rd 1 is just a bowl of the 7.0
56:56Speaker 4neutral water. So I'm giving a triple rinse. And
57:00Speaker 4that's how I cook.
57:02Speaker 4Because when you think about water, everyone goes, oh, well, I'm drinking water. Well, what are you cooking in? What'd you boil your kids pasta in? What did you wash your stuff in? Right. Now circling back to organic, why do people buy I know you guys don't eat organic produce. Okay? Mean, I will. Why do most people eat organic?
57:20Speaker 3Because it says organic. They think that's better for them. It's probably a cleaner. That's literally all the No, genetically modified. So
57:27Speaker 3cleaner,
57:28Speaker 4more
57:29Speaker 4roots to what we're designed to eat as Well, a it's a genetic mother earth, what
57:34Speaker 4mother earth actually made. Absolutely,
57:36Speaker 4and I would agree. I would absolutely
57:39Speaker 4agree. There's higher nutrition density.
57:42Speaker 4If you're talking about the dirty dozen, like strawberries and corn and all that stuff that have the highest amount of pesticides, like, absolutely
57:50Speaker 4buy organic for those 12. If all you can afford is those 12 organic,
57:54Speaker 4go for it, and then the rest do whatever you need to do. But
57:59Speaker 4here's what happens for most people.
58:02Speaker 4And I remember my friend Katie, I just watched her brain explode as I said this, so we'll see what happens today. So
58:10Speaker 4people
58:11Speaker 4buy organic. Is it more expensive or less expensive?
58:14Speaker 4More expensive. More. More expensive. And not by a little. It's by a lot. Okay?
58:19Speaker 4So they buy a more expensive product
58:22Speaker 4because it's less chemicals.
58:25Speaker 4They wash them with a And they bring it home
58:28Speaker 4and they put it in tap water. What's in tap water? Fluorines. Chlorine, fluoride, forever chemicals,
58:34Speaker 4heavy metals, pesticides,
58:36Speaker 4herbicides, pharmaceuticals.
58:38Speaker 1So
58:39Speaker 4you're paying a premium
58:41Speaker 4for a chemical free product
58:43Speaker 4to bring it home and add chemicals yourself.
58:47Speaker 4Yeah. That's the exact reaction I had. I was like, are you shitting me? How much money have I spent
58:55Speaker 4trying to buy what I thought was the better product
58:59Speaker 4only to mess it up myself?
59:02Speaker 4Sounds like a Danny thing to do. Like Most good. Most people think. Yeah.
59:07Speaker 4So there's the actual machine right there. So the 2.5, when you press that button on the bottom left, 2 waters come out. Fruits and meat. Fruits and meat. Exactly. Sanitizer and veggie wash.
59:18Speaker 46.0 above it, JD, this is for you.
59:21Speaker 4Your skin and hair is a pH of around 6.4.
59:27Speaker 4Okay?
59:28Speaker 4We are slightly acidic on our skin and our hair. That's actually a prevention
59:33Speaker 4for your body. So it's fighting things as it's coming in. So when you're washing your face and washing your hair, a lot of products, women will probably know this more than men, a lot of their beauty products have a pH that's around 6. And they pay a lot of freaking money
59:50Speaker 4for that because if you use tap water, if you use
59:53Speaker 4higher level,
59:55Speaker 4higher alkalinity stuff, it actually strips oils
59:58Speaker 4from your skin, and it can cause more acne to come. Crazy. So the 6.0, the beauty water, as we call it, is beautiful. It's beautiful.
1:00:07Speaker 4Will help your skin and your hair. You can use it as a leave in conditioner. It hydrates the hair on the cellular level. You wash your face at night? I wash my face with it.
1:00:16Speaker 4And how do you do that? Actually, I wanna know, like, do you go to your machine? Do you fill up You a bowl of could. I have a friend that does that and adds ice to it and dunks his head in, and he does a little bit of a nervous system reset every day, washes his face, and balances his nervous system at the same time. The other thing you can do, a lot of women who get the machine do this,
1:00:35Speaker 4is they fill up,
1:00:38Speaker 4a spray bottle.
1:00:40Speaker 4So you fill up a spray bottle and then
1:00:42Speaker 4Yeah. You just mist yourself. Okay. Especially with this heat,
1:00:45Speaker 4I mist myself all day. Interesting. It's epic. And then if you work out
1:00:51Speaker 4Mhmm. To avoid cystic acne on the shoulders, around the beard, neck, My and beard is breaking out. It's driving me crazy. Fill up a little bottle of 2.5.
1:01:00Speaker 4When you start sweating,
1:01:03Speaker 4spray to kill bacteria,
1:01:05Speaker 4and then spray with the 6.0 to lock in your moisture.
1:01:08Speaker 2Wait. I'm confused. So 2.5 for what? 2.5 to kill bacteria. To clean. To clean the
1:01:14Speaker 4smellies. Yeah. You can spray it in your armpits too to just get rid of body odor. The 2.5 spray 1st to clean. 6.0 to seal seal your moisture in. And then the 6.0? Mhmm. Because that's if you just leave the 2.5 on,
1:01:28Speaker 4it's too heavy on your skin. It's 2.5
1:01:32Speaker 4sprayer then the 6.0. To wash. Exactly. Now, if you have eczema,
1:01:37Speaker 4there's an added step in that. Okay? The added step if you have eczema is you
1:01:42Speaker 41st start with the 11.5,
1:01:45Speaker 4because if you've ever gone to that machine, I'll take you after this, and press the 11.5
1:01:50Speaker 4button. I remember Brandy's face when I showed You
1:01:54Speaker 4rub your hands under the water and it almost feels oily.
1:01:58Speaker 4Oh, wow. So the viscosity of the water actually changes when you change the pH.
1:02:03Speaker 4And so 11.5,
1:02:05Speaker 4when you put that on your skin when you have eczema, it actually takes the excess oils off your skin, because like absorbs like. Okay. That's science. Like absorbs like. That's how it works. They're buddies. So it takes the excess oil and dead skin cells off. We talked about skin shedding. Sweet. You do the 2.5,
1:02:22Speaker 4that's gonna sanitize it. So you've removed all the excess stuff that's irritating your skin.
1:02:27Speaker 4Now you're sanitizing it,
1:02:29Speaker 4and then you wash your face with the 6.0,
1:02:32Speaker 4you're set.
1:02:33Speaker 4Do you have long steps? Do you have, like 3 steps. Women have, like, a 14 steps Yeah. Like like, let's be honest because I'm a dude. That's great.
1:02:42Speaker 2Like,
1:02:43Speaker 2that's a lot. Like, I mean Book.
1:02:46Speaker 4Like, is there a pamphlet or something? Yeah. If you have. If That has, like, here's a We need a road map. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's what we have a pamphlet. I will send you to you. Like, different thing. If you have this If any you do this and then follow They have a sticker on the machine that says JD drinks. I saw I might what I might do is get you I'll 3
1:03:06Speaker 4be like,
1:03:07Speaker 4sweat,
1:03:09Speaker 4moisture. That's how we understand. Done. Right. Okay. So 2.5,
1:03:13Speaker 4sweat.
1:03:15Speaker 1Sweat. Sweat. Sweat. Cleaning
1:03:17Speaker 2the sweat. Cleaning with that. So after we lift, which we lift right across the street You lift? Spray with the 2.5.
1:03:22Speaker 4You can also spray the gym equipment. As we get into winter, when people have all this crap that they come to the gym with Yeah. Spray your hands with the 2.5. It'll sanitize all the bacteria from And especially every all of you people who are taking testosterone or anything else. Yeah. You're gonna sweat. You're gonna sweat, and you're gonna get acne easier. Yeah. And so, like, I would always
1:03:43Speaker 3and this solves the same problem. Like,
1:03:46Speaker 3if you have a sweat on you and letting it sit, it's just gonna create more acne. I would have, like, some of those little Clorox wipes or something when I was worried about or really worried about it. And just whenever you sweat, just kind of wipe your shoulders off. Bleach baths were actually prescribed. Throughout the day, but you do the same thing here. Uh-huh. And you will notice market. You won't have you won't get all dotted out. Yeah. This is the holistic version. Yeah. So you take a paper towel, you soak it in 2.5, boom. Just have a little jug,
1:04:10Speaker 4replace it every week, you're good to go. Sweet. Fill up once a week. Nice. Cool. So then you go up to the 7.0 that's neutral. That's like if for any moms that are feeding their babies formula,
1:04:22Speaker 2you use that 1 because if you You're that lady's 2 point or 7.0 for you, NADs. Little pictures. That's a They do. They have pictures. Water. That's I don't know what that is. J. D. Proof. Yeah. There is a different picture.
1:04:34Speaker 4Kind of. So 7.0 is neutral if you're taking any medications.
1:04:38Speaker 4Like, here's a really funny story.
1:04:40Speaker 4My my friend,
1:04:42Speaker 4used to take birth control,
1:04:44Speaker 4got this machine, and got pregnant. And she's like, what the hell?
1:04:48Speaker 4Birth control, like heart medication,
1:04:50Speaker 4is time release. So you take a pill and it protects you for 24 hours. Okay? Well,
1:04:56Speaker 4when you drink it with Kangen water, Kangen water super absorbs into your system. It rapidly absorbs. So if you take your medication
1:05:04Speaker 4with Kangen water, you rapidly absorb
1:05:07Speaker 4your your,
1:05:09Speaker 3medication. Will it do the same with Botox? Will it make people's Botox wear off faster if you're constantly drinking? Here's
1:05:15Speaker 4what I would say is you would need less Botox if you're more hydrated.
1:05:20Speaker 2Makes sense. So I think it neutral neutrals it out. I wouldn't say it makes it last longer. Just say you get hydrated. So with this, I've been meaning to ask you and I waited for this. So, again, I told you I drink I drink Celtic salt in my water. Beautiful. It's all I drink. And my sons always go, dad, is there salt in my water? You know? They because they know. You know? Yeah. There is. Mhmm. Do you need salt for this water? No. It it actually maintains the minerals, the natural minerals. So what happens is
1:05:46Speaker 4how this machine works is it has a filter. And what I suggested because of where we live in California, you guys did the pre filter as well. And the pre filter,
1:05:56Speaker 4because remember, this machine is produced in Okinawa, Japan.
1:06:00Speaker 4Very different regulations
1:06:02Speaker 4for water production there. So the tap water in Japan, very different than the tap water in Southern California. This machine is shipped out all over the world. So the filter that's in this machine
1:06:13Speaker 4is made for the majority
1:06:15Speaker 4of the world.
1:06:17Speaker 4But what's really cool about it is if you live where we live, you need another level of filtration because I'm a nerd. I'm like, I want all that shit out of my water. So I go to that next level. But if you only have this machine, you're already better off. Because it's gonna go through the filter, it's gonna remove the chlorine, it's gonna remove a lot of the other stuff.
1:06:36Speaker 4But then it's gonna go through these 8,
1:06:39Speaker 4medical grade platinum coated titanium platelets
1:06:42Speaker 4that are inside the machine, and that's where the electrolysis takes place.
1:06:46Speaker 4So that's why the machine is plugged in to electricity.
1:06:49Speaker 4So way back in the beginning of this podcast, I said alkalinity can be achieved in 2 ways, through chemicals
1:06:55Speaker 4or through electricity.
1:06:57Speaker 4This is like a lightning strike. So if you look at natural water sources in the world,
1:07:04Speaker 4lightning strikes it. It charges it. The world is electric.
1:07:07Speaker 4We are electric beings. We have electrons, all this stuff. So the machine is
1:07:13Speaker 4basically
1:07:14Speaker 4shocking your water back to life- Interesting. And adjusting the pH setting along the way. Wow. So
1:07:21Speaker 4that's what's happening with that. And so when you go into the 8, 8.599
1:07:26Speaker 40.5 pH waters,
1:07:28Speaker 4what you're actually getting
1:07:30Speaker 4I like to say that alkalinity is the side effect
1:07:35Speaker 4of producing
1:07:36Speaker 4the molecular hydrogen.
1:07:38Speaker 4So once you get into those purple ones on the right, the 8.5,
1:07:42Speaker 49, 9.5,
1:07:44Speaker 4that's because it has
1:07:46Speaker 4the stronger pH, the potential hydrogen.
1:07:49Speaker 4Hydrogen is the most bioreceptive
1:07:53Speaker 4antioxidant
1:07:54Speaker 4on the planet.
1:07:55Speaker 4You take in high and there are thousands
1:07:58Speaker 4of research studies, independent 3rd party research studies on hydrogen water. You've probably heard of it. This machine has been around for 50 years making hydrogen water. That's crazy. I just had my wife buy those little hydrogen tablets Tablets. For the morning. Cool. And you're on the way. Awesome.
1:08:14Speaker 4You have it right in the office. I did not know that. Man, cancel the order. Yeah. So you're getting a shower unit, but you got your hydrogen water on tap.
1:08:23Speaker 4So what happens is you have a low, medium, and high voltage.
1:08:29Speaker 4How much hydrogen do you want? So the 9.5,
1:08:33Speaker 4that's the high hydrogen.
1:08:35Speaker 4That is the magic water Colton told me about, the 1 that's gonna bring your body back to homeostasis.
1:08:42Speaker 4Because if your body is constantly absorbing things through your skin, through what you breathe, through what you ingest,
1:08:48Speaker 4then it's constantly filtering.
1:08:50Speaker 4If it's constantly filtering, it's constantly working, it's probably getting some inflammation
1:08:56Speaker 4because everything's on overdrive. When you put hydrogen back into the system,
1:09:02Speaker 4hydrogen has a an extra electron. All right? I'm taking it back to science. I know. So electrons are the things that look like they're just partying on the outside, all that stuff. Those
1:09:13Speaker 4electrons,
1:09:14Speaker 4when you have them in surplus,
1:09:16Speaker 4donate to other things,
1:09:18Speaker 4and that's how you neutralize free radicals.
1:09:21Speaker 4So hydrogen comes into your body and neutralizes
1:09:25Speaker 4free radicals by donating an electron
1:09:28Speaker 4to say, Hey, you're not getting in. You're not absorbing into this body. Get the hell out of here. And that's why people, I don't make medical claims, that's why people have these
1:09:39Speaker 4symptoms disappear
1:09:41Speaker 4because their body is actually really smart. The inflammation is a symptom that something's not right with your internal or external environment.
1:09:49Speaker 4And what this machine does for a lot of people is it brings their body back to origin. Hey,
1:09:56Speaker 3I have the list of like 10 questions, I want to like rapid fire them. So I don't want your answers to be like, we can keep the answers under like 30.
1:10:04Speaker 4Oh, okay. Let's see. I should have to practice Simple answers. Okay. Okay.
1:10:11Speaker 3So
1:10:12Speaker 3I'm nervous, excited. Do we drink water? So, like okay. Again, you've already answered this, but say it again. When what times of day is the best time of day? And then in relationship to food, when when is the best times to be drinking water? 1st thing, wake up, drink water.
1:10:26Speaker 4K. Like, 1st thing is you are dehydrated. If you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated. Yeah. And it's so funny because we're raising the most hydrated generation ever.
1:10:35Speaker 4Like, I I didn't walk around with a water bottle growing up. I waited till I was on the precipice of death and then drank out of a hose. Oh, yeah. So it's like,
1:10:45Speaker 4we have these kids that are so hydrated. So 1st thing when you wake up, you're probably a little
1:10:50Speaker 4parched.
1:10:51Speaker 4Drink water.
1:10:54Speaker 4After
1:10:55Speaker 4that, I would say,
1:10:57Speaker 4do your whole morning routine, eat your breakfast, all that. 30 minutes later, drink some more water. Like, just constantly
1:11:05Speaker 3get yourself knowing. So is it true? There there's a lot of, like, old Is it true? Is it true? There's lot of other stuff like, is it true questions. Right? So We'll see if I have the answer. Know, always told that, hey. If I'm making a protein shake Mhmm. You don't wanna drink and mix it with 8 ounces of water, like a whole bunch of water and then put your protein because your body's gonna recognize that as water, as liquid, and not really look for the nutrients. And you actually that's supposed to be food.
1:11:27Speaker 3Is there any truth at all to that? Some.
1:11:29Speaker 4So what I would say is water doesn't absorb in the same way as food does. And so that's where that theory is coming from, that you're basically telling your body this is a liquid,
1:11:40Speaker 4and it needs to go through the kidneys, the urethra, it needs to go through that, versus what you're trying to do with protein is to have it absorb in the stomach linings. And the, after it goes through the stomach, it goes through the intestine, and the microvilli start to capture all the protein, and that's how you build muscle.
1:11:55Speaker 4What I would say is for tap and bottled water, absolutely.
1:11:59Speaker 4Like, that that logic is sound because it's not absorbing in the same way. This water, you can actually
1:12:05Speaker 4see your protein a little thicker and it sits in the stomach differently.
1:12:11Speaker 4It will still have water in it. That's just the science of it, but you'll get the absorption Brilliant. Proteins. Good answer. Good, very good answer. Same with pre A
1:12:20Speaker 4lot of people Yeah, right. Same with every single label. It says mixed with, like, 4 ounces of water. Yes. That's maximum. So pre workout People are drinking a whole thing on pre workout water. Because this actually rapidly absorbed in your system,
1:12:33Speaker 4I tell people when they get their machine,
1:12:35Speaker 4please add 0.5 a scoop of pre workout. They're like, no. I take 6 scoops. I'm like, yeah, because it literally
1:12:42Speaker 4stopped working for you, dude.
1:12:44Speaker 4You will
1:12:45Speaker 4feel the difference. Like, people, they decrease their supplements because they're absorbing their supplements better. They decrease their pre workout because they're actually absorbing it now. They decrease their protein. Mhmm. Some, not women more so than men. Don't do that. Don't do it. I am giving balls on your page. So, yeah. So it's 1 of those things. Good answer. So my my fiance and her whole family Yeah. Get cold sores very easily. Okay. What should their strategy be to not drink so such a high acidic water? So I would have to know more about them specifically.
1:13:15Speaker 4I'd I'm hesitant to make a blanket statement. What I would say is have them gargle with the 2.5. So if there is a bacteria that's causing it, we can eliminate the bacteria,
1:13:25Speaker 4and then we can talk about what could be triggering the cause of them.
1:13:30Speaker 3Where 1 of the best areas in the world or or who has the best tap water in The United States? Does Seattle?
1:13:35Speaker 1Seattle has way Oh.
1:13:37Speaker 40, this is a gift to all your people. Okay? There is a website you can go to and see exactly what's in your tap water. It's free.
1:13:45Speaker 4It is something that is not publicized a lot. It's 6 letters.
1:13:50Speaker 4Ewg.org.
1:13:55Speaker 4Ewg.og.
1:13:58Speaker 4It's the tap water database for The United States. It is public. It is free. It is 3rd party. You can we actually pull that up
1:14:05Speaker 3and let like, let's take them on a journey. Hell yeah. Can. Let's do this. Let's do it. Yeah. When I drink sparkling water, I like sparkling water, but I feel like it dehydrates the hell out of me, and I feel like do. Like, is it an anti is it it is Here it dehydrating water. Take a deep breath in. Take
1:14:21Speaker 4a deep breath out. What
1:14:23Speaker 1did you just exhale? Air. Oh, carbon dioxide or carbon What
1:14:27Speaker 4do they put in water to make it sparkle? Carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide. Okay. So why are you So that's worthless air. Your body is detoxing
1:14:35Speaker 4with the exhale.
1:14:37Speaker 4So if you're adding No. It back in
1:14:40Speaker 1You're acidic.
1:14:41Speaker 4Mhmm. And you're putting something in that your body's trying to get out, which is why you burp and you fart after you have sparkling water. Your body's trying to get it out of yourself. Why are you burping and farting, bro? That's it. So if you go EWG
1:14:53Speaker 4tap water database,
1:14:55Speaker 4go to site,
1:14:58Speaker 0scroll up,
1:15:00Speaker 4then
1:15:02Speaker 4let's see. If you go
1:15:04Speaker 4here, go Google
1:15:06Speaker 4EWG. Oh, there it is, all the way at the top. Tap water database
1:15:10Speaker 4all the way at the top right there.
1:15:13Speaker 4Put in the zip code. Let's do this zip code.
1:15:16Speaker 4I don't know what it is. 92627.
1:15:18Speaker 4Cool. Now
1:15:20Speaker 4click on never heard. Go
1:15:23Speaker 4down. Go down. Alright,
1:15:25Speaker 4go up. Go
1:15:27Speaker 4down. Click on Mesa Water District for the utility.
1:15:31Speaker 4Click on it.
1:15:32Speaker 4Go down. You have 12 confirmed
1:15:35Speaker 4contaminants
1:15:36Speaker 4over the health guidelines. Keep scrolling down.
1:15:39Speaker 4Oh. 0. No. You're good. Scroll down.
1:15:43Speaker 4Now let's go through and see all of the different things that are in your water right here. So this is your tap 9 times the amount. 409
1:15:51Speaker 4times arsenic has been shown to have correlation with not just cancer, but with brain disease.
1:15:57Speaker 4Because you're putting a heavy you're putting heavy stuff into your body, heavy metals as well. So if you keep scrolling, you have 12. That's only 9. There they are. There's a lot. What are the potential effects of all these things?
1:16:09Speaker 2Not good. Not good.
1:16:11Speaker 4Cancer, cancer, cancer, cancer, cancer, cancer, cancer, cancer. Why is cancer rate up?
1:16:17Speaker 3Because of the this.
1:16:18Speaker 4Do
1:16:21Speaker 4you know your zip code from Washington? Yeah. Yeah. Alright. Do 92 Go back. Wait. Shit. 1
1:16:27Speaker 4testing here. 98034.
1:16:28Speaker 498034.
1:16:30Speaker 3988034.
1:16:32Speaker 4Because you brought up a great point, and this is why I said not everyone needs a pre filter. Click on North Shore utility.
1:16:39Speaker 111. 11. The other ones were 12. 11.
1:16:41Speaker 4So not much better. They've changed their stuff. When was the last time you were out there?
1:16:46Speaker 410 years ago. Things have probably changed. Yeah. Now there's other
1:16:50Speaker 4There's no arsenic. Don't drink tap water. Don't drink tap water. Don't shower in tap water. Period. End of conversation. We're done. That's crazy. So anyone can go on to the EWG tap water database,
1:17:03Speaker 4look up
1:17:04Speaker 4their location,
1:17:05Speaker 4and see what's in. You want a 17
1:17:08Speaker 4for his.
1:17:09Speaker 1Woah. You're in Riverside
1:17:11Speaker 1this year. Type in You need Cagin. Wow. Type in Flint, Michigan. Uh-oh. Oh, Flint, Michigan. Oh, man. Let's look. Uh-huh. Poor Flint. I bet the best is what's it? Oh, it's Maine. Maine probably has great stuff. The closer to Can the closer to Canada you are. They're just up Northeast Coast. They have this they have the most you find it? Fresh water in the in The United States. 03901.
1:17:34Speaker 1Condensed
1:17:35Speaker 1number. 4. No. Say it again.
1:17:37Speaker 1These poor people. For
1:17:39Speaker 4the state of Michigan, a 104
1:17:42Speaker 4contaminants that exceed
1:17:45Speaker 4the health guy. That was a 12. So
1:17:47Speaker 4if you want
1:17:49Speaker 4reach out. I will help you do it. So so
1:17:52Speaker 1in Maine, there's only 8
1:17:54Speaker 4states coming in. Where? Maine. Maine. Yeah. So and remember that the government controls
1:18:01Speaker 4how they process tap water. Right. It has to be a standard across the base. That's why you're seeing the same things pop up over and over again. Now in Long Beach, it goes a little higher because they have the oil refineries and that goes into the groundwater. And then what trips me out more is,
1:18:19Speaker 4alright,
1:18:20Speaker 4not trying to scare people. I have a tendency to do that. God bless my husband for choosing me even though I scare everyone I come in contact with. Here she goes again.
1:18:28Speaker 4There she goes again. So fox. So
1:18:33Speaker 3here's I forgot where I was going with this because it's so scary. I would You said that in Long Beach, there are oil refineries
1:18:39Speaker 4pollutants. So here's what trips me out more than what the additives are to refine things.
1:18:46Speaker 4Think about when the pipes were put in that's carrying the water. Long, long time ago. How fucking old are they?
1:18:55Speaker 1Metal
1:18:55Speaker 4wears down.
1:18:57Speaker 4So a lot of the chemicals they're putting in You're drinking that. They're not to actually clean the water. It's to protect the pipes so the city doesn't have to replace the pipes. Because it's expensive to get in there. That's my same issue with,
1:19:11Speaker 4home water systems where they get a water softener.
1:19:14Speaker 4Water softener, great for your pipes in the house.
1:19:18Speaker 4Horrible for your body. All they do is add salt or potassium to the water so it goes through the pipes easier, and it doesn't wear them down more. Jeez. It is not designed for your to drink Well, I'm gonna get I like hard I like hard But
1:19:31Speaker 4the solution is instead of renting your water, instead of bathing, showering, brushing your teeth, this stuff, if you focus on 2 areas of your home, okay, or apartment, because these machines are renter friendly, which is why I love it, is it's it's for anyone who cares about their health. Yeah. If you focus on your bathroom,
1:19:52Speaker 4where you shower, you're absorbing it mostly through skin and through brushing your teeth, and you focus on your kitchen,
1:19:58Speaker 4you will have eliminated
1:20:00Speaker 4the majority
1:20:01Speaker 4of the exposure to water. And a lot of people are like, why don't they have a whole house system? 1, it'd be like $250,000
1:20:08Speaker 4to get this going through your house. Wow. And 2, I don't need alkaline toilet water. Yeah. Don't.
1:20:15Speaker 4So I can instead
1:20:17Speaker 4systemize this to small areas of my house, make it more affordable. Machines last 35 years. Every year, we get to say a different number
1:20:26Speaker 4because
1:20:27Speaker 4the oldest machine's still in production.
1:20:29Speaker 4Wow. It gets older and older and older. So when I started, it was, oh, machines last 29 years. Oh, machines last 30 years. Machines last 35 years now,
1:20:39Speaker 1still running with proper care. Right. Alright. What's the 2nd best machine out there besides Kangen?
1:20:44Speaker 4By the way, we're not doing this as a sales pitch, everybody. I would do if I if my Kangen machine was taken away and the government said, you're not allowed to ever use this machine again Yeah. I would get an RO system and I would pay a shitload of money to have the best minerals to put back in because it wouldn't be enough just to have the Celtic salt. You would have to have other minerals because if your body doesn't receive minerals,
1:21:09Speaker 4it strips your body of minerals. It seeks them out from the most mineral dense place in your body, which is your bones. And that's why a lot of people who have RO systems for 10, 20 years that haven't been remineralizing
1:21:22Speaker 4have bone density issues. They have osteoporosis.
1:21:24Speaker 4They fall and break a hip more easily. So if my hands were cuffed,
1:21:30Speaker 4I would I would absolutely
1:21:33Speaker 4RO because it strips everything, and then it's expensive. You would have to remineralize. So instead of, like, spending a lot of money over a long period, I did 1 big purchase and I'm done. Alright. Next question. What does structured water mean? That's Kangen water. So structured water means that it has a specific shape to it. So if you were to look inside the human body,
1:21:54Speaker 4we have a very dynamic shape to ourselves and to how water interacts with us.
1:21:59Speaker 4Most tap water and bottled water is dead water. It has none of that shape. And so structuring it or vortex water
1:22:08Speaker 4actually brings it back to life.
1:22:10Speaker 4So when you put it through the machine and it zaps it, that's where you're structuring your water. How much water should we drink a day? People always ask this question. Right? Like, how much Kangen water? So I know you're probably gonna say, well, it depends on water you're drinking because you're only getting this much water. Well, and it's if you've ever drank a bottle of water and went for a run, you can feel it sloshing in your stomach. It's not absorbing properly. This is why this is why athletes buy Kangen water because
1:22:32Speaker 3it doesn't sit in your stomach. Yep. It absorbs almost instantly. Can feel that immediately. Like, when I drink a bottle of water, I can feel it just Heavy. Go down and whole stay in I my drink this stuff in Deep mineral. And it just sucks into me before it hits the stomach. So how much what's the what's what would you say is how much water should a person be drinking if they have Kangen water? A day. Ounces of water. Men
1:22:53Speaker 4over 6 feet, I would say gallon plus a day. Men under 6 feet, about 0.75 of a gallon, 0.5 to 0.75 of a gallon.
1:23:02Speaker 4If you exercise,
1:23:04Speaker 4bump it up a little. If you drink a lot of juices,
1:23:07Speaker 4bump it down a little because you get water from other sources as well.
1:23:12Speaker 4Women
1:23:13Speaker 4over 6 feet, I would say about a gallon under because my friend Jenny is a professional volleyball player. She drinks a gallon a day. She's 6 foot 3. Wow.
1:23:22Speaker 4I'm vertically challenged. I'm fun sized. So I drink about 0.5 to 0.75 of a gallon a day. If you're in that range, you're really good. Like Optimus Prime. Good. Most
1:23:34Speaker 4people don't.
1:23:35Speaker 3Okay. I don't know. My only last question is this is 5 rules of,
1:23:40Speaker 3if you could tell a person, you got 5 rules of water for the rest of their lives, what are the 5 most important things that you wanna tell somebody?
1:23:47Speaker 4And then I'll be done. Because they're all the questions you've answered. Oh, yay. Yay. I love that answer. All
1:23:53Speaker 4right. 5 rules for drinking water.
1:23:57Speaker 4Know who's selling it to you.
1:24:01Speaker 4Follow the money. See what company it's coming from. If you have this machine, trust the person who's selling it that they're gonna help you if it breaks or if you move and someone dings it or you have a question. Like, you said, hey, do you have a sheet for me? I do. You bought from me. I'm gonna take care of you. So know where your water's coming from. Number 2 is avoid plastic like the plague because that's really what it is. Right. Plastic is a plague. Number 3 is make sure there's minerals in your water. Yeah. Sounds awesome.
1:24:31Speaker 4Number 4
1:24:33Speaker 4would be pay attention to the water you're not drinking,
1:24:37Speaker 4what you're cooking with Mhmm. What you're giving your dog,
1:24:41Speaker 4your cat,
1:24:42Speaker 4your kids,
1:24:43Speaker 4what you're putting on your skin, because water is all around us. We're water beings.
1:24:48Speaker 4So knowing what's in and around you is really important. And be mindful
1:24:53Speaker 4of
1:24:55Speaker 4additives
1:24:56Speaker 4in water. Like, if people are adding stuff in, why? Why are you remineralizing
1:25:01Speaker 4it? Where do the minerals go? What minerals are you using? So ask why.
1:25:06Speaker 1Crazy.
1:25:08Speaker 3That was a lot. I like it. That's fun.
1:25:10Speaker 3Is there any more question? Any other basic questions from the audience that you got anything you wanted to ask any questions? What about Purigen water? Purigen.
1:25:18Speaker 4So Purigen, Culligan, all of those things, they're filtration systems.
1:25:23Speaker 4A lot of them are really great starts.
1:25:26Speaker 4They take tap water and
1:25:28Speaker 4it goes through multiple filtration stages, and then a lot of them will use UV light as well. So UV light kills bacteria and those types of things. Great start,
1:25:38Speaker 4But it's still dead water. There's no structure to it. There's no like Exactly.
1:25:43Speaker 4It's going to keep draining energy from you because it doesn't have that frequency that we're looking for to keep going up. So I have the alkaline attachment to the RO. Okay. So
1:25:55Speaker 4what that means,
1:25:57Speaker 4love that you have an RO, especially when we pulled up, you have 17 contaminants where you live. So love that you have that. To make it alkaline,
1:26:06Speaker 4there's 2 ways of making it alkaline, chemical and electrical.
1:26:11Speaker 4Yours is chemical. Okay. Yeah. So they're probably adding baking soda. Might as well So how how much do you pay for that alkaline added addition?
1:26:19Speaker 1Actually a free add on with it. I love that.
1:26:23Speaker 4Do you have to replace it?
1:26:25Speaker 4Every year we do it. Okay. So I would how much does it cost every year?
1:26:32Speaker 1It's 1 time fee. Awesome.
1:26:34Speaker 1Cool. That's cool. Like ever, you bought it, I bought it. That's awesome. And then if I move, I can take it. Oh. Fantastic.
1:26:40Speaker 4So I would say ask them what alkaline material they're adding in
1:26:45Speaker 4and how they're sourcing it. Because if it's baking soda, you can do that yourself. You can put a little pinch in on your own. If it's something else, where are they sourcing it from and in what quantity is it being put back into the water? And my suggestion is go home,
1:27:01Speaker 4take your pH drops, and check to make sure it's actually alkaline. Yeah.
1:27:06Speaker 3Seems like 1 of the worst things possibly you can actually do is well, drink is just
1:27:10Speaker 1that too is a funnel of baking soda out your throat, but like drink no mineral, just RO water. Oh, that's the worst. That seems like the worst thing. Distilled and just
1:27:19Speaker 4RO water is the worst thing you can do to yourself. My brother was in the Navy. Yep. So all their water on the ship is RO water. Yeah. When he got out of the Navy, 1, was pissing blood because his kidneys were under so much stress. He was at sea for 8 or 9 months. Remember when the ships went to off the shore of North Korea, like, 8 years ago? My brother, I turn on the TV, all of sudden, I'm like, oh, goddamn, that's my brother's shit. Like, he's off the course of Korea.
1:27:48Speaker 4So he was gone for 8 months. Drinking dirty water? Drinking can't think that's horrible. They can't just put No. So Like, tell him, hey, everybody, put this packet in your brother my brother came home pissing blood. His skin was
1:28:02Speaker 4wrecked.
1:28:03Speaker 4It took about 6 months to detox him from all the crap from just having RO. His bone density went down. He lost a ton of muscle. So all my guys that are watching you and seeing your big muscles and all that, like, your water matters because your muscle has water in it. Yeah. So what type of water are you fueling your muscle?
1:28:24Speaker 2I'm ready to go drink some. Let's go drink some. Know. This is where we're on another Flint.
1:28:29Speaker 6Actual Flint. Only 4. Only 4?
1:28:33Speaker 1That's amazing. Interesting. Is that possible? So either Why did you think Flint? Just because Flint, Michigan's got a bad rep? They had
1:28:40Speaker 4whole water No. They had a water contamination issue.
1:28:44Speaker 4What they probably did,
1:28:46Speaker 4they probably did a citywide RO system to protect because a lot of people died. Yeah. So, yeah. Yeah. That's like, like, after God, forgive me. Mhmm. Anyway,
1:28:57Speaker 4Carrie, I forget this name. I was trying to say the last podcast, so I'm gonna So, yeah. So when it comes to water, it's everyone's trying to do it's kinda like with parenting and with eating. We're all doing the best we can with the information we have. So I encourage anyone who's watching, like, go do your own research. There's a lot of mis information
1:29:16Speaker 4out there. Yeah. I love this system. I've I'm not trying to pitch to anyone. If you want to go do it, do do it. If you like your system, keep your system. I love that for you. What I have found for the results I want for my body and my family's results is nothing compared to this. It
1:29:33Speaker 4was the longest lifetime that it was gonna last,
1:29:38Speaker 4the highest quality. It didn't just make the drinking water, it made all the other stuff that I use in my house,
1:29:43Speaker 4and it really served me. But I had to ask the questions of what are my health goals?
1:29:49Speaker 4What's in my water where I am?
1:29:52Speaker 4What am I cooking with and cleaning with? Like, does this make sense for me? And is there a better way? Because sometimes we're just walking around in our habits Yeah. Not actually thinking or choosing. We're just we watched mom and dad buy the Clorox for how long, so now we buy the Clorox. It's generational
1:30:10Speaker 4spending.
1:30:11Speaker 4So challenge your spending. The next time you're in the grocery store, take a step back
1:30:16Speaker 4and ask yourself, what am I actually choosing?
1:30:20Speaker 2It. I like it. That was awesome. Cool. Yay. Hopefully, that
1:30:25Speaker 2was eye opening to all of you as well as it was to us.
1:30:29Speaker 2Like I said, my wife is definitely
1:30:31Speaker 2making some purchases right now
1:30:33Speaker 2knowing my bride,
1:30:35Speaker 2but get
1:30:36Speaker 2like, for good reason because I have 2 little kids in my house. Yeah. And they take baths every day and that's as you were talking, that's what I was thinking about. Yeah. I don't, I mean, I'm sure most parents will spend whatever they need to do to protect their We'll suffer in order for our kids to be well. A 100%. Like when I was pregnant with my 1st daughter, I wish I had this. And I didn't because I was stubborn. And I told Colton basically to f off.
1:31:00Speaker 4With my 2nd pregnancy versus my 1st, it was so different.
1:31:05Speaker 2It was crazy. Well, the cool thing and the blessing that we've had, Will and I, with this podcast, it's, you know, it's a peptide podcast, but it's
1:31:14Speaker 2health all the above. You know, it's not just peptides. Peptides only work if you have a lot of things in line, hormones and whatnot. But like for
1:31:24Speaker 2the 1st time, I think ever, or
1:31:26Speaker 2for a long time,
1:31:27Speaker 2people are seeking something different. They feel like shit. They realize now they don't need to feel like shit. And
1:31:33Speaker 2unfortunately, it takes a long time to figure it out.
1:31:37Speaker 2It just does.
1:31:39Speaker 2But there's a lot out there and that's why we're bringing these guests on. We're intrigued by it for sure.
1:31:44Speaker 2And
1:31:45Speaker 2we care about health truly. Like the old school way of doing things is dead. Thank God. Going to the doctor and them giving you some pharmaceuticals and jacking your gut up. You can do it. We choose not to,
1:31:59Speaker 2because that's why we're bringing these guests on. So hopefully you liked it. We're going to make her easy to find, but Danny, give us a plug. Where do they find you? Find me on Instagram,
1:32:09Speaker 4TikTok, all social media, Rawsome Yoga, r a w s o m e y o g a. Rawsome is just being your authentic self makes you awesome. Awesome. There you go. We'll make her easy to find.
1:32:22Speaker 2And then like she says,
1:32:24Speaker 2don't trust her, do the research. Do it And for you can make an educated decision what you do for your family. And again, that's why we're bringing these types of guests on because
1:32:32Speaker 2we just want you guys to make educated decisions like we are doing. So other
1:32:36Speaker 2than that,
1:32:38Speaker 2I hope everybody, yeah, we'll start to school. Get your butt on school. We're gonna post a lot of this stuff on school.
1:32:44Speaker 2Again, we dropped the coaching program, so all of the above health, we will talk a lot about this stuff in the coaching program.
1:32:52Speaker 2I'm going be dropping some fasting stuff in there because that's up my alley and
1:32:56Speaker 2just a lot on a lot. But again, you need, if you're not on school, what are you thinking? The Peptide of the Week podcast
1:33:02Speaker 2school platform,
1:33:04Speaker 2under classroom. Don't just look at the front page, look under classroom. There is just umpteen amount of
1:33:12Speaker 2free
1:33:13Speaker 2educational
1:33:14Speaker 2stuff. We'll put some of the stuff on there as well. We try to make it easy for you. So other than that, anything else? Nope. That's it. Alright. Well, thanks for the next round. Thank you. We love you, man. That's all we got.
