0:57Speaker 2I'm your host, JD Denham. Like always, to my left side is Mr. William T. Haas, my co host.
1:12Speaker 2Will and myself and Mr. Paul back to you are a lot of, a lot of guys that, we respect. So he's a wealth of knowledge. So we wanted to bring him on the podcast
1:24Speaker 2bring him into the mix. So Mr. Michael, I call him Michael at time. His name is Michael
1:38Speaker 2Thanks guys. Yeah. Welcome, dude. It's good to get you on the show, man. Yeah. I've heard every
1:44Speaker 2episode. So it's nice to be on it now. Yeah. I want to actually, let's tell the story about how I met Mike. It's a great story. Mike is, kind of like, like, if you will, my little protege, I've kind of taken him under my wing because I respect him. I think he's awesome. So let me tell you the story of how I met him. So I had back surgery. I mean, you remember that? And
2:03Speaker 2my beautiful bride got me a hyperbaric company to come out and I do, I think 5, 5, 7 days is what we did. 1st day, it was the owner. Next, most of the days came back. It was Mike and, Michael. And he,
2:22Speaker 2And I think I showed it to you. I don't think you had listened to it at that point, but he started listening to it because every time he came back, he had questions. And then after we stayed in touch and
2:32Speaker 2every time I talked to him, he had listened to the podcast and asked many, many, many questions. He was
2:44Speaker 2say that if you want to get in the rooms of the men that'll change your life, need to have a damn good knock. And I started to cultivate that when I met my mentor,
2:56Speaker 2And I started asking articulate questions and he started responding and it reminded me of me because you did that.
3:05Speaker 2yeah, that's when Will and I decided to take them under our wing and do some training with him. And then even Paul got involved. And so cool story, so I met you. I thought it's a great story. And now, and now everybody who
3:28Speaker 2Staying busy now. That's for sure. It's great. So it's good stuff though. Yeah. Yeah. If you want to get something in particular,
3:36Speaker 2your worth. How do you do that? You study, you study, right? I'm a student of your craft.
3:51Speaker 4like, fully done up and souped up cars that were not cheap. I'm like, how the hell do you have so many cars that are that expensive
3:59Speaker 2and then in different Rolexes? So you've done some things right in your life. I have. Student of his craft, man. We just studied. Pretty good. Awesome. You didn't get investments. I love it. Huge. Problem solver.
4:10Speaker 3Yep. I grew up poor too. So that also helped cause I had to fix everything myself and figure it out. Couldn't pay somebody to do it. So
4:21Speaker 4growing up without money Yeah. And go 1 of 2 ways. Yeah. You can either figure it out or just be a victim your whole life. And so good for you. So
4:39Speaker 2And it's been a big deal, many times when I've thought about it and then we've just been busy as hell. But,
4:45Speaker 21 of the coolest things, at least for me, when we went up to Prague was not just being there and, you know, seeing such a different culture and whatnot, but for me, because I have 2 young kids, I don't get a lot of time to think of without a lot of screaming when I'm at home and whatnot. I had about a week to not have that. And even though I missed my family, I did a lot of thinking and praying and centering myself and Will stayed on and went to Italy and is getting hitched. But I came back and I was like, dude, let's just get after this. Let's do this. You know, it's really when that said, knew we just got to jump in. The timing was perfect. So we put time into it.
5:20Speaker 2already passed when you were listening to this, but it's actually tonight at the time of recording. And,
5:31Speaker 2you want to get in shape who doesn't, That's the obvious. I think we're going to try to help you get in shape. We have macro tracking macros. We have a gym workouts. We have hit training workouts. We have carnivore.
5:43Speaker 2We get, we really, I think are going to appease pretty much anybody that's trying to get in shape, but I think more importantly than anything is we really want to cultivate just such a family
5:54Speaker 2vibe and just a unit. You know, if you want to be a part of something bigger than you, which we all, I think it's in our DNA and we crave it, that's what we want to put out there. You know, we want to be around cool people. We let it be known. We're Christians here, you know, and I speak, you know, heavily and it doesn't mean that you have to be, but,
6:14Speaker 2that's what we are. We try to be integral and we, have Will and I specifically have learned so much through just the steps of Alcoholics Anonymous on just being
6:27Speaker 2those are things that we can pass on because you get passed on with dudes that have lived it and they, the torch was passed on from us. So we want to share a lot of different stuff. It's not just a
6:38Speaker 2typical coaching program, man. We really want you guys to be part of the Warrior Maker family and we do have some big things coming. If you're interested in that, we're going to be dropping it tonight and it's going to go live.
6:49Speaker 2So you'll be seeing this on Thursday, but you'll be able to find it. I would love for you to join because
6:56Speaker 2it's bigger than what you think. You're going to be jumping into the Warrior Maker family. We're going to have a weekly Zoom call where it's going to be led by me for the most part, but sometimes we'll some, you know, mice, our other coach is going to be on there as well.
7:14Speaker 2I'm going to have, Doctor. Scott on there. I'm going to have, you know, some fitness guys. We're going to do some cool stuff that I've been cultivating in my head for quite some time. Now it's really formed. I'm ready to put it down and kick some butt. Guys? Yeah. It's a team effort. Basically, think the good thing is people
7:31Speaker 4you are joining, but we call it the warrior legion, but you're joining, you're getting support from everybody.
7:39Speaker 4coach who will be working with those who choose that package, but really behind it, you get all of us, right? You get, you get sessions with Michael. If you're a woman, we have a woman for, for consults,
7:53Speaker 4JD and I, and like you said, other guests will pop in and provide support to everybody in the program. So you'll
8:00Speaker 4get access to school to train arise. There's a whole bunch. So just, you're not alone. The biggest thing is, yeah, you get the motivation and accountability.
8:08Speaker 2Motivation too, but we're also going to talk about things that, I think most people at least would like to hear, you know, some type about cultivating different business ideas or branding. I love that type of stuff. How do you brand your company? Oh man, I could talk for that on days. So it's so much more than coaching. It's so much more than you getting in shape. That's the part we known.
8:28Speaker 2Everybody wants to be in shape. I think that's going be the easier part. If you follow the protocol, it's a mathematical 3 certainty that you will get in shape because it's math, right? It's macros and it's calories and all that stuff for the most part. But
8:41Speaker 4it's the part that you're going to join a freaking bad ass Yep. There it is. Now I'm wearing a cowboy hat today, the way, And in case anybody didn't notice, 1
9:02Speaker 4the biggest fan. I don't know. I'm just just not. Just don't like the crowds and I just I'm not like that type of person. Right? Whatever. Also, I don't drink.
9:15Speaker 4we got dressed up and I got a cowboy hat for the show and wore it. And so I thought I'd show it off today here. Looks good on you.
9:25Speaker 2Thursday for me when you were listening to this will be my 14 year, not wedding anniversary, but since I've been with my bride, which same thing to me, I mean,
9:37Speaker 2And, so that's cool. I'm gonna have, I'm going bring her in on Thursday and we're going to sit down and do podcasts on my podcast and
9:48Speaker 2We're to stay at Disneyland Hotel on Friday night for my dudes and go to Disneyland with my buddy Justin Wetzel's in town with his bride, soon to be bride also. So cool stuff, man. Oh yeah. Then I'm going to Hawaii too in a month. We have a family vacation that we've done every, every year for the last 4 years, I think.
10:22Speaker 4But yeah, so now it's kind of a tradition we're gonna do it. I'm not gonna stay, I'm gonna go for about 0.5 the trip and come back because,
10:36Speaker 4but it'll be fun. The 1st time that we went, my mother, my mother has like always taught me,
10:42Speaker 4like, just do whatever you want as long as you're not hurting people. Like laws and rules don't matter as long as it's like makes sense in your brain, you know? So 1 time I was like, let me take care of River for like a night and you guys are the day. You guys actually like enjoy yourselves. So we did that. Okay. We come back. Right? I think I was walking around and we've caught my mom, my mom, or Ally's like, do not let him river. Do not jump off the rocks into the lazy river. Right? And I walked by, and I see my mom teaching him how to do a flip off of the rocks into the lazy river. That's so funny, dude.
11:16Speaker 4That's amazing. She then we came back. She's like, mama, look. All the other kids are gonna have just fly safe. As long as he does it. Right. Right. He's going to do it. So anyway,
11:23Speaker 2a punk rock baby. Yeah. I love it. I love her, man. Well, cool man. Well, let's get cracking. So this is a Q and a
11:31Speaker 2episode, which I know everybody loves and real quickly before we read the 1st question, Will and I talked about, let's say it again.
11:37Speaker 2We want to know if you want any type of uplift on this, or if you just kind of want us to leave the Q and A alone, we're always trying to improve and,
11:46Speaker 2know, do more and, and, just think, make it better. But, I've asked some people that came in that liked the podcast to the shop here and all 3 said, no, don't touch the Q and A. It's perfect. Don't touch it. So that's
12:01Speaker 2preference, let us know. We were thinking about making a few changes here, but if you like it how it is, us know. We will read the answers.
12:08Speaker 4Alright. And then we also, there is the, 1 peptide that's a triple agonist that we all know that starts with R and we are not going to say that name folks. So we, if we say the word, if we say the letter R, I hope you're following along and know what we're talking about. Okay?
12:31Speaker 4slash Ipamorelin once, got flushed, heart raced, felt like I might pass out for a minute.
12:36Speaker 4Took me forever to get to sleep. The next day, I was completely wiped out, came home from work early, and slept till 3PM. So I stopped using it after that. Good idea. This week, I started my Wolverine blend because no 1 has problems with BPC and TB, right? Nope. 15 minutes later while laying in my bed, my resting heart rate hit 115, just didn't feel great.
12:56Speaker 4Had to get up and calm myself in the shower before I could go to bed. Any ideas what could make someone this sensitive or how to approach it safely? PS. I do just fine taking my R 2 times weekly.
13:13Speaker 2jumped out at me here was, yeah, you are probably sensitive, but you don't tell us your age. You don't tell us your weight. So that does help when you say that type of stuff,
13:23Speaker 2you know, how much weight do you want to need to lose and things like that? It can help with, the response here,
13:33Speaker 2exercising? If you're not, you need to be. That's probably a big part of it. I mean, you, you, every human needs to,
13:44Speaker 2you don't have to go to the gym or you could do bands at the house. You could literally just do bands. And I mean, there's so many
14:11Speaker 2histamine responses of any peptide by a mile, I just know I literally personally know many,
14:17Speaker 2many people that have had a histamine response. The thing that threw me for the loop was BPC and TB are pretty much the safest peptides you can take. And if you're having that, that
14:38Speaker 2So peptide wise, let's say Selank and Semax. Would start there. I would say try Selank and Semax just to start and see how you do with those.
14:53Speaker 2Are you hormonally optimized? Let me ask you this. When is the last time you got your blood work done? Right? So these are questions that if we knew the answers to, we could really help you a bit more because they do really fit within the picture
15:23Speaker 2these are things that can really help you. And I know they're not peptides, but they really work. I've used them before.
15:29Speaker 2So maybe start there. And if you, if you do go get your blood work done, I do want to write back in and you tell us your age and weight and all that. It really will help the answer in my opinion. What do think, Wolf? Well, go ahead, Michael. I don't wanna take any of his, let him talk and then I'll add my- Well, it's an allergic reaction I think that he's having, you know? So you can kind of counter it with KPV.
16:10Speaker 3So that's kind of where I would start off at with that. Because I mean, if he's getting a reaction with the
16:51Speaker 3measurements. Right. You know, like you don't want to be overdosing. Don't want be, right. People putting too little water in and then thinking they're doing some amount, but they're actually doing 4 times as much as they should be. Some people are like, oh, it's so little, so maybe it's gotta be more, but
17:17Speaker 4When peptide manufacturers make a blend, they have to use different ingredient, okay, that binds those 2 together.
17:24Speaker 4There are there is a shoot. There was a lab locally here that 1 of the workers was so allergic to
17:31Speaker 4to that ingredient, right, that it takes to bind those 2 things in. She couldn't go out to dinner.
17:37Speaker 4I think she, like, passed out and they had the ER take her to the ER after the 2nd time in the lab, working with that. She couldn't go out to dinner with any of the coworkers after work. She couldn't enter the lab. She couldn't go out to the coworkers after work who even were in that lab with their lab coats and their lab coats touching their own skin because of that that was on there. So there is an end, lots of
18:08Speaker 4I mean, I wouldn't even try the I wouldn't even attempt to do CGC if I'm around if I would again, though, just lost
18:15Speaker 4cause, like- You get too rocked. But I would also probably my best advice would be to cut out all blends.
18:21Speaker 4So your next thing to test is something that is just a single peptide. Like, try is the Reta? BPC. That's why so the Reta's doing or the R is doing good.
18:36Speaker 4then Michael touched on it, like sourcing, where are getting it from? Like, definite let's let's check that.
18:42Speaker 4If you get it from if you got it, go ask wherever you got it from. I would send it your message to their customer service team and tell them what's up. A good company will say,
18:56Speaker 4Alright? And they'll take the loss. So go ask your company that you bought it for that exact question. And if they tell you to kick rocks, then just DM us and we will tell you 3 good people to buy from. All
19:12Speaker 4yeah, dude. That's, that's my thought. I think I'd stay away from those. Would drop the, but that's odd.
19:26Speaker 3JD and well, love the podcast. It's helped me understand peptide therapy much better. I am a 44 year old dad, PT, high rocks athlete, York,
20:19Speaker 2or so I would say go to straight up HGH myself because I love it. And, the more and more, we get deep into this world of peptides and get to know
20:29Speaker 2people that have been in it for a long time, the more I love more HGH more, because they've been taking it for a long time too. So we've been right on the money. But, yeah, if if you don't wanna do HGH,
20:40Speaker 2you can you can do the the Tesa Tesa Ipah. I know Will's gonna say that. At at the Push your limits. Train with precision. See the results. At Equinox,
20:49Speaker 0that's high performance loving. Everything you need to lock in and unlock your potential at Equinox.
21:31Speaker 2But again, if you have access to actual HGH, I would just kind of cut to the chase. I think anyone 40
21:42Speaker 2HGH. Now that's, there's exceptions to the rule, not saying every single person, but most people with the food and just all the stuff that's going on in the world,
22:46Speaker 4Having those 2, it's just a synergistic effect, right? So it'll work better. Dude, Tesla's awesome. So the fact that you're a high rocks athlete, we had somebody ask us this
23:25Speaker 4Think that that's, that is just, it's just more effective than the secretagogues will be. Okay. It's the real, it's the real stuff you just give it to. Okay. At 44,
23:41Speaker 4You know, at 44 and you are active, Glutathione is a great general health. And while you're at the NAD, you might as well start taking glutathione also. Do that. As just general internal internal organs. Everybody should be taking them. But I think, yeah, dude, I think you cannot go the the test, can't be bad. It will do nothing but hell. Yeah.
24:05Speaker 4Sure your sleep and, and ex I mean, your exercise is probably good. Make sure you're fueling your body enough because
24:10Speaker 4you are burning calories and you're beating your body up. Like a Wolverine, you already take it. Great. Killer. Anything to add?
24:18Speaker 30 I would probably just bump up the Wolverine, the 1 mg daily. It's pretty low at 500 micrograms daily. Especially if you're working out, you need that extra muscle recovery. I wouldn't even take so less. That's true. Yeah. 1 mg, maybe even 2 on a hard workday.
24:34Speaker 4So that's my 2 sides. For sure. I agree. 500 micrograms of each of BPC and of TB is about the lowest possible, like,
24:43Speaker 2dose you're getting anything out of. And so you're working hard. I would I would also increase it. Type stuff. You're ripped and tear, especially at 44. We get it, man. Uh-huh. So you need more good stuff. Alright. Do that. Alright. Not all Janoschick COAs are publicly posted.
25:05Speaker 2USA to Prague, which is a great question because we are going to do a breakdown of the COA.
25:10Speaker 2But we will be doing that soon, so just so you know, but this is a real question. This is Sure. So this is easy. Did like so,
25:16Speaker 4not all Janoschicks are publicly posted. I think you mean that on Janoschick's site, they have a spot where they post,
25:23Speaker 4people's COA. So here's what you may or may not know if you dig into it a bit. But General Street charges you about, I think it was like a $150
25:33Speaker 4month, and it might be more. It might be more like $300 a month. So if you send a test in, cool, you can opt to also
25:45Speaker 4only ones that are publicly posted on Janoschik are the people who pay them to do that.
25:55Speaker 4Now here's how do you spot a, how do you spot a counterfeit? Well, this one's very easy. At the bottom of every Janosik test and the bottom of every test, hopefully,
26:04Speaker 4they have a unique code. Okay? So when you're looking at someone Janosik test online, let's say, if there's no code on it because they photoshopped it and they just like, they cropped their
26:16Speaker 4above where the code should be, red flag. But even just because you see a code, I wouldn't don't necessarily just trust it, but basically that is for you to go take that 5 digit code
26:26Speaker 4and go to Januszepatide's website. It's right there where you can verify a test. So you enter that code, push enter, bam, that test
26:39Speaker 4If it does not show up or those results are not found, then you have a counterfeit test that you're looking at. I don't know. K. So
26:46Speaker 4that will always just because it's not posted publicly, they're available publicly on Genosix site if you just,
26:53Speaker 4if you just type that in. The best package delivery service, when you place an order with Janoschik,
27:08Speaker 4from The US to Prague. It's about how much you yeah. I think they suggest you use Pirate Ship,
27:19Speaker 4yeah, there's that most every single every CLA, every every lab should have a have that verification code for you to go back to the website and verify it. That's the whole point of having 0.333 party test done. You need to be able to verify it. Right? Or else these are all just basically worthless.
27:50Speaker 4Okay. All right. Next. I am a 57 year old male currently on TRT. My doctor said I was in range, although I was 9
28:11Speaker 4free tests, but estrogen is very high with no side effect. Should I take an AI? Also, I've lost 64 pounds and I'm currently damn weighed 2 59.
28:51Speaker 2is a 10 67 nanograms per deciliter. So for us Americans, we go off nanograms per deciliter and that's 10 67. So that's great. That is really good. Total testosterone
29:11Speaker 2your estrogen is high. You didn't tell us what that is. And that is obviously subjective,
29:19Speaker 2I think even Will and I will both agree. We are, our AI opinions have changed over the years and it's
29:50Speaker 2of protein. You definitely need to increase that. I mean, I know for some people that's difficult, but the easiest
30:03Speaker 2lift weights, you gotta, you know, you gotta lift weights, you gotta eat enough protein. All meals should be based around protein. And I know that's difficult sometimes,
30:12Speaker 2but it's really easy math to just get 1 g of protein per body weight. And you're not doing enough of that
30:23Speaker 2mgs is a lot. I'd be really curious to know how long you've been, well, look, he's lost
30:31Speaker 2pounds. Probably been on it for a little while. Would imagine, especially if you're not feeling it anymore, you're probably been on it for a while.
30:49Speaker 2It's hard to say. We don't know a whole lot about you. You know, once, if we ever got on the phone with you, we could obviously ask you questions that would help us answer this.
31:28Speaker 2think it's not working because they're actually getting hungry again. You want that? What happens is very,
31:38Speaker 2remember when I 1st started taking it, I was amazed by it. I mean, I used to go home and just destroy
31:44Speaker 2a huge rib eye and like 6 eggs. When I started it, I was like eating 0.5 the rib eye and like, you know, it was crazy. So yeah, you want to switch to that and Alpha-5s, like I said, 6 bigs probably is where I would start.
32:11Speaker 2like I'm telling you, man, like what I've been reading, because I've, I've spoke about it a lot lately. I've, I lost my sweet spot and I've been studying the shit out of it because I had it for a long time.
32:21Speaker 2And 1 of the things is overtraining is a real thing. It really is. You need to make sure you get your rest. We're not 27 anymore. You're 57. I'm 49. I was, I talk about all the time. I hit 49 and I like ran into a wall and
32:35Speaker 2I'm out of my sweet spot. And like my gut got all jacked up and like, it's just, I've been trying to find it. That's 1 of the things that I've been coming up with is 1, I'm walking.
32:46Speaker 2I'm not doing any car, I'm walking and I feel great. So maybe add that in and maybe take out a day, maybe, maybe 1 more rest day and all you need is an hour. You don't need an hour and 0.5. That's a long time for a 57 year old. Those are some of the basics, man. I think they will help you a lot.
33:11Speaker 3maybe twice a week, 3 times a week sub Q because that can probably help stabilize his testosterone.
33:39Speaker 3with what I've noticed with a lot of people when they're on a GLP for a long time, their metabolic system tends to slow down or it's not optimized. So the 5 Amino, by adding that in there and even bumping up your calories a little bit more will kind of restart that. So keep you out of that plateau.
34:05Speaker 4is tied to the amount of food that we take in. Okay? Because, like, this is how we made it through winters when we were, like, lesser evolved.
34:13Speaker 4Okay? So our bodies, based on how much food we get we take in, our metabolisms will then kind of speed up to that basic number. They also speed up based on how much amount of muscle we have or
34:42Speaker 4down because you ain't eating much. Now you're eating 2,200 calories. Okay. That's okay. It's not like 500 at least.
34:50Speaker 4yeah, I would think of timing of your food, right, is not all about calories. Right? It is, I think, it is all about macronutrients.
34:57Speaker 4Right? There's a huge difference. Right? I could eat the same amount of calories in steak and versus Twinkies,
35:03Speaker 4and there's gonna be a big difference. There's also gonna be a big difference if I could eat the same amount of macros
35:09Speaker 4in 1 situation and then in another, but basically on how I time those meals and those nutrients
35:29Speaker 4Okay? That's pretty high. My guess is, unless maybe you have good natural testosterone and you're taking a low TRT dose or you're taking a high TRT dose. But regardless, that's why your estrogen is elevated because your testosterone, that's pretty high. I mean, most of these tests max out at like 1,400
35:49Speaker 4at 1000, I mean, I do we do say, hey. An average male, the range should be, like, 1,200
36:16Speaker 4acne, so if you're getting dotted out at all, right, maybe not getting big old zits, but if you're starting to see like little bits of acne everywhere, a little bit more oily, that's an estrogen symptom.
36:27Speaker 4anywhere, right, just looking a little bit more bloated, your your sub Q layer holding water, any nipple sensitivity,
36:38Speaker 4If you're not having any of those, but the blood test says your your estrogen is high, I wouldn't take an estrogen blocker. Right?
36:57Speaker 4yeah, so there's that. Think everything else that you said, yeah, dude, 90 minutes is too long. You don't need it. Go hard, go hard for shoot 40 minutes. Yeah.
37:05Speaker 2It changes you the way that you eat and the way that you train as we get older, it really radically changes. We should not be lifting heavy, heavy shit like
37:14Speaker 4we did when we were 27. You're getting hurt, man. Me too. Yes. I'm getting old. Because we did on Thursday. Yes. But be careful of reps. So I have found it and they've done the most 3 recent scientific studies have said, okay, they've compared, Hey, what's worse for a person? Okay.
37:35Speaker 4low weight and high reps for a lifetime. And the newest research tells us that the high reps, what matters is
37:50Speaker 4unless you I mean, if unless I put 1000 pounds in my hand and I tear my elbow off, like that's bad folks. Right? But as long as you do heavy weight that you can control,
38:03Speaker 4Than just how many times that so it's all about how many times that joint has to move in a lifetime. And I noticed that the higher reps end up wearing me down and hurting me more over time than, yeah, than a heavy load. But the heavy load just needs to be controllable. Heavy load. Like be
38:18Speaker 2conscious of how you lift and really focus as Arnold used to say on what muscles are training. Like we all get in there and do the same shit every day. Like you forget that like you gotta
38:28Speaker 2watch, you know what I mean? It's very important. Like at our age, I say our age, you know, you're older than you, but again, like I'm not acute injuries. Don't account for this. 1 I'm not, don't go into the The
38:44Speaker 2really want to sit on this 1 more time because I think it's important that especially if you, when you're 57,
38:57Speaker 2extremely important for a 57 year old. Like, again, I would really, I don't care what type of diet you're on. There's many that work. I'm not 1 size, 1 shoe size fits all type of guy. Right? Whatever works for you. But I'm going to tell you eat your carbs before and after the gym and at nighttime, don't eat carbs, man. You don't want carbs. You are not 27 man. Those carbs are going to source fat. You definitely want to really pay attention to when you eat carbs. Carbs are not bad
39:23Speaker 4as long as you eat them at the right time. Yep. And fruit is a carb folks. Fruit is just a sugar.
39:34Speaker 4You know, we got people that live 5 times a week who don't lift their legs, like your legs, legs, legs, legs, legs, folks. That's your biggest muscle in your body. That's the biggest calorie burner that you have.
40:38Speaker 3a guy whose stress levels are stalling and perfectly dialed diet and had and heavy metabolic stack,
40:46Speaker 3what is the best non DSIP peptide protocol to drop the cortisol and flush the water? Good question. All right.
40:54Speaker 2I'll take it. Yeah, go ahead. So again, I've been through this. I lived through it. It's
41:07Speaker 2and I could not get rid of it. Researching and researching, you know, started reading about cortisol and it's a, it's a son of a bitch. It literally can kill you. So you gotta fix your sleep. I know that's the obvious, but let me say it out loud. Now I've
41:23Speaker 2Have found the answer, at least for me on how to sleep. I sleep a good 6 to 8 hours every night now, and I was sleeping I was sleeping, like, maybe Push your limits, train with precision, see the results.
41:36Speaker 0Everything you need to lock in and unlock your potential at Equinox. Start today at equinox.com.
41:54Speaker 1and this space starts with Ultra Fit. Unlike traditional running shoes, Ultra Fit gives toes more room to move naturally, so every step is strong,
42:16Speaker 2So I know I know well, brother. I'm with you. Here's and this was some listener sent this to me. I think it was on my Instagram.
42:37Speaker 2Those together should really help you sleep, man. They worked for me. I mean, they radically worked for me. I still take them every night.
42:46Speaker 2peptide advice, I didn't do the best with DSIP either. There's people I know that love it. So it's kind of each his own, but a Selank and Semax might be good for you because it's going to calm you down a little bit, calm down the brain. Once you're not sleeping,
43:00Speaker 2it's like a mind F dude. You're not sleeping because you're like, no, you need sleep really bad. So then you're thinking about you not sleeping. And then it's just like, dude,
43:23Speaker 2If you're restricting calories too much where people don't realize that if you're not eating enough, you will increase your cortisol. It'll do it'll be
43:39Speaker 2you know, or, or, or, cortisol to the spike in the morning. 1 of the things that I did was, I don't know what your sleep schedule is like, is I don't drink coffee for the 1st hour. I go downstairs and I used to hit coffee and then wait 10 minutes and have a cup of coffee and then do my prayers and whatnot. I don't do that. I don't have coffee for an hour.
43:56Speaker 2What I do is hydrate like crazy. I go downstairs and I actually have a big box of Celtic salt and I
44:03Speaker 2lick it and put it on my tongue. Absorbs into your tongue, 3 big doses of salt and a big glass of water, man. You're going to be hydrated, dude. We are dehydrated when we sleep.
44:27Speaker 2Walking is amazing. I've loved it. Like I never, I haven't walked in a long time. Like I, after I eat, I walk and it's been awesome. I just, I don't know. I've enjoyed it. I either like either listen to a podcast,
44:38Speaker 2pray, get in the center. Like it works for me. I just have about 25 to 30 minutes where I just
44:52Speaker 2can't sleep, Wim Hof works really well. Breathing techniques. I don't know if you've ever heard of Wim Hof, but
44:59Speaker 2so many people know about it because it works really well. You can start to do breathing techniques and just the focusing on the breathing techniques. You'll, you'll definitely calm your head and I bet you'll sleep better. That's what I got. 0
45:19Speaker 3Yep. Depending if he's working on the evening or in the morning. Yeah. Can definitely affect his sleep. So
45:31Speaker 3probably I really I sleep really, really well on, like, a Tesa Ipam blend. Mhmm. At night? Yeah. I take it before bed, fasted, and I sleep like a baby.
45:48Speaker 3good thing because he's trying to lose weight. So that's another thing, but you know, you gotta be careful too with the Tesla on the dosing. Some people don't sleep. Some people that Mason does the opposite. Yeah.
45:59Speaker 2Because I had dealt with this, you know, so I can give you my firsthand experience. I will not take any peptides at night anymore. I used to have a morning dose and then at night and like, because I have my sleeping and I feel like 1000000 bucks these days,
46:12Speaker 2won't take anything at night of like anything with hepatitis. I don't know if that was it. I don't know what the true culprit was, but I'm not, I just, it's worked for me what I'm doing, the glycine and the Ashwagandha and the magnesium alone,
46:35Speaker 4of all, I guess I would like to kind of argue the premise that your cortisol is purely because of your sleep.
46:43Speaker 4And I don't know you and I would ask you a whole bunch of questions, right, to get to know you better and to, like, see
47:06Speaker 4there's a whole lot of other things that can create cortisol. There's a whole lot of other things that can create water retention also.
47:12Speaker 4And that means but but the only thing here's the evidence that we got and the question is about sleep. So,
47:21Speaker 4is really is 1 of those things that, you know, you may you may not notice it, but it's worth a shot.
47:30Speaker 4There are a whole bunch of sleep techniques that you can do to make sure that you get into the rhythm. Right? It's all about, like, a good sleep rhythm and being consistent with that. Right? Like, bright light in the morning. That's natural sunlight that gets your butt drop. Right? You're going to sleep at the same time. Do not work out late at night. Right? That will stimulate your system. You'll have a tough time going to sleep. I think the GHGH
48:02Speaker 4So Me neither. I know we take take in the morning, but like I'm also not opposed to like, shoot,
48:15Speaker 4Selank is the 1 that is a nootropic and geolytic and is supposed to help your brain, and it does help your brain calm down a little bit.
48:24Speaker 4Don't take C Max, take Selank. C Max will do the opposite and caffeine. You know, just watch your caffeine during the, you know, when you're taking, when you're drinking caffeine, cut that off, dude. Like you might just need to cut it off after noon. I don't know.
48:41Speaker 4Sleep apnea is a huge 1 that most, and a lot of times if you have sleep apnea, you don't know about it
48:58Speaker 4there's my answer. It's not, you know, DSIP is not, some people are like, it's amazing. And some people that didn't do anything to you.
49:15Speaker 41 on 1 right in our, in our program or consultations, right? Then we can go a lot deeper with you, But I would find somebody else to really analyze your entire life and
49:32Speaker 4you will not see anything physically change if you're not sleeping right. 100%. I remember when I came down here for the 1st time,
49:43Speaker 4I was already I was I did that for 2 months because I know my brain needs 2 months of, like, isolated,
49:49Speaker 4like, no touching of of substances to just grow back. But the 2nd month so I was already past my AQD target. It was so hot here, and I was working out all the time. I remember there was a stretch of, like, 4 or 5 days. I didn't barely slept at all because it was so hot. I'd, like, take, like, cold bathtubs. I'm coming from Seattle. It's really hot here. And I was working out like crazy and like nothing was happening. And usually my body just flies, gets better.
50:14Speaker 4Grows muscle, burns fat really, really fast. And I was really amazed like, damn, nothing is working because I'm not sleeping.
50:41Speaker 2Hello, JD and Will. 1st and foremost, thank you for being such an inspiration and wealth of knowledge.
51:07Speaker 2I don't go to the gym, but I do stretch every morning, lift a little weights, go outside, go out, step on the grass and soak in the sun. That a girl.
51:20Speaker 2are over the counter. I'm looking to live a long, healthy life. I would like to know what would help with maintaining muscle mass and healthy bones.
51:48Speaker 4I've got I'm sorry. Like, now here's my go to answer normally for people who want to preserve muscle,
52:19Speaker 4I don't know. Here's the thing. Lift weights. You need to stimulate your muscles. So I know you say you do. Then, but
52:28Speaker 4every muscle on your body gets worked out with bands, whatever at home to soreness. Okay? It takes about 2 weeks for a muscle to atrophy. So if you don't do anything, let's call it from a bicep for a couple weeks, it just starts declining.
52:43Speaker 4Alright? It starts burning off. Now, you can burn it off a whole lot faster too if you want to go on marathon runs only.
53:12Speaker 4Keep doing your testosterone patch. I don't know, you know, 12 Migs a week for a woman injectable is too much,
53:19Speaker 4but that's not injectable. Think she said it's a patch. No. Oh, the extra dial patch. So yeah, it did. I guess it does seem high.
53:29Speaker 4would say 10. Yeah. I would 10. I'd maybe start a little bit lower, but who knows if you're tolerant to that great, that will help keep muscle on.
53:38Speaker 4like eating protein and just making sure you're stimulating those muscles with resistance training consistently
53:45Speaker 4Yeah. So work out every single muscle on your body 1 to 2 times a week, and it needs to be worked out so hard that it is sore
53:56Speaker 4after that workout. Okay. If you work out a muscle, let's say if you do a weight training workout
54:07Speaker 4Okay? Remember that. You did nothing to it. Now you you probably made it so it wouldn't you you stimulated it, but you sure didn't tell it to grow because it didn't tear down. Therefore, it doesn't think it needs to grow back any bigger or stronger or better.
54:34Speaker 3If you do work out like Will told you, you should a little bit more. I'd probably bump up the CLO
54:52Speaker 4helps for, it can help for muscle gain. That's why JD and I are right now taking 15 to 30 mg a day. And
55:13Speaker 2statement or this question, to speak is a 1st and foremost, thank you for being such an inspiration as a wealth of knowledge. I
55:21Speaker 2want to sit on that for a 2nd. These guys just kind of answered you, but we are so grateful for the people that write in. I mean, it warms my heart. I mean, you know our story because you guys write in all the time. I mean, Will and I are both in recovery. I mean, we were people that are addicted to heroin and, now we have a fairly successful company and a successful podcast. And, if you're listening to this and you're struggling, this is what happens when you get sober, man.
55:47Speaker 2your life will become so freaking amazing, it'll blow your mind. And I was like, I just want a car.
55:56Speaker 2But I wanted to sit on that and really just say thank you for all you people that ride
56:01Speaker 2in and are grateful for what we do. It warms our heart. It really does. And, you guys keep us going.
56:07Speaker 2So they answered a lot of that. I thought that was great. SS-thirty1, what a great answer. You went at a different angle. Glad you're here, Mike. But,
56:18Speaker 2everybody, everybody listening to this should be taking creatine. You too, ladies, creatine is great. So, that's a must. You can take monohydrate,
56:30Speaker 2in a powdered form or Will and I both like HCL. I take them both. I take HCL in the morning and then after I lift, take monohydrate.
56:50Speaker 2and I would just want to sit on this point because it's important. You gotta do some type of resistance training. I know they said that, but like you could get bands. You
56:57Speaker 2don't have to go to the gym. You can get bands and you could put the bands everywhere and you can do your arms or triceps. You can do your back, you can do squats. I mean, you can do an amazing workout
57:15Speaker 2you know, get that sleep into my dear, because that stuff is important with some of the stuff that you went through. So they, they answered the peptide question. I wanted to say that and just, you know, sit on the thank you part. So there you go. Yeah. Who's that? Cool.
57:30Speaker 4I don't know, but I'll do me. Okay. Here it is. Short 1. What is your opinion outlook on collagen peptides?
57:40Speaker 4I'm not really quite sure what you mean by this, collagen peptides. Do you mean we'll cover basis.
57:50Speaker 4protein powders. Yeah. My thought on those is, and I've there, then the studies have shown us like
59:01Speaker 4And it's and it's showing a lot of good promise there, but obviously filling in wrinkles, etcetera. Right? BPC
59:20Speaker 4and then carry those and have all the messengers that carry all of that to rebuild you better. So those things are awesome.
59:28Speaker 4The big corporate supplements that have collagen in them, I think that they are worthless.
59:34Speaker 2was popular or even carnivore was popular and they had all these carnivore bars and all this stuff. Yeah.
59:41Speaker 2Just capitalizing on the- jumping on the bandwagon and if you see it, you're gonna believe that that's gonna I'm in ketosis still, like, not even close. Like, it's just that's- It's a tool. It's a ruse. Yeah, it's marketing. But those peptides, as Will said, are amazing. And then you also have to be careful when we were talking about this, I think off camera is,
1:00:00Speaker 2like even protein powder, most of it's doodoo. It's just the case. Like you'd want to go with a higher grade or look at the ingredients
1:00:09Speaker 2you know, you, you want to spend the extra dollars on some supplements. Cause like you said, the collagen production, my wife takes it every morning, even though,
1:00:19Speaker 4But lesser so I know you're listening to this baby. I love you. A lot of times placebo and that's the most effective part of it. It's true. I always say most of I think it's it's working. Yep. And you will do everything else in your life that helps benefit that too. Right? Like that 1 little thing like, Oh, well, if I'm doing this, right, then I better do, I better work out harder and I better eat better food. Like that,
1:00:39Speaker 4all that stuff is what works. But hell, if that puts you in the mode and mindset to do it, great. 0 Well also, because we have, you know, the, the, the face serum, which has GHKCU
1:00:53Speaker 2to post about this all the time. I mean, I get these laser facials that, you know, as I gotten older and every 3 months, I think I do them. My wife and I go together.
1:01:05Speaker 2I'm not kidding in cuts it in 0.5. We've done it without it. And we've done it with it every time now. And it's like, woah,
1:01:13Speaker 2it's that good. So do we love them? Yeah. They're that good. That's why everybody's buying them.
1:02:14Speaker 04 Push your limits. Train with precision. See the results. At Equinox, that's high performance loving.

1:03:39Speaker 2Yeah. I mean, that's what it sounds like. So all those numbers that you put in there
1:03:43Speaker 2are kind of pointing towards that. So the 1st thing I know that jumped out at all 3 of us is when you take a growth hormone or secret a GOG,
1:04:02Speaker 2really probably what's going on for the most part. You want to pull out the growth hormone
1:04:12Speaker 2I don't know, but, you know, insulin sensitivity is when the body responds well to insulin. People don't. And then the insulin resistance is when the body responds
1:04:21Speaker 2poorly to insulin, just so people know, because I know that gets thrown out there a lot.
1:04:32Speaker 2think that if you just pull that out, I honestly think that will do well. It's just 1 of those things and you can pull it out for a bit. It probably will rectify itself.
1:04:44Speaker 40 Yeah. So, okay. I do not. So she is for everybody else. Right? She gave us different numbers of her glucose and her insulin at
1:04:56Speaker 4on having a post glucose drink. Right? And then here's how it went, how her glucose rose or lowered and insulin matches. So she said, hey, this pattern
1:06:10Speaker 4But, yeah, for sure, we know the c the the the secreted drugs and HGH, right, they can over time blunt,
1:06:19Speaker 4Your body recognizes glucose. We eat glucose. We eat we eat sugar. It turns into glucose,
1:06:34Speaker 4you want that glucose to really be killed by the least amount of insulin. People with insulin sensitivity who are insensitive,
1:06:43Speaker 4and that's very unhealthy in terms of the that's like, you know, where we go to pre diabetic diabetic and that's not good. Right. So, you know,
1:07:03Speaker 4here's the worry. I would see the I don't know. I still like seeing an endocrinologist. It's not maybe a great idea to just use the like, metformin is another thing to, like, lower blood sugar, but
1:07:18Speaker 4the GLPs can't really control blood, you know, blood glucose levels. Right? That's not their job.
1:07:24Speaker 4Well, they just don't do a good job. They can, they can go up and down and spike. You need to make sure is like the basic rules, like never eat, don't ever eat carbs alone.
1:07:40Speaker 4yeah, eat low glycemic carbohydrates. If you go to the glycemic index online, it's gonna tell you. It'll list everything, right, tell you what
1:07:51Speaker 4and therefore provide you with quick fast energy, but then burn off and have a higher propensity to turn to fat versus carbs that last a long time, provides you with really good long sustained energy. If you don't use that energy that stores in your muscles instead of converting to fat. So you just don't want big spikes.
1:08:08Speaker 2Again, it goes back to like, when you get older, you need to know what to eat, when to eat it. Like when we were younger, it was great. Right? To eat whatever we wanted. Oh, I miss those days. But if you want to stay in shape when you're older, just got to know what to eat, what carbs to eat, which ones to leave out. And I know that sucks, but it's like, once you get it down and
1:08:26Speaker 2if you need help, we'll help you. We got a coaching program down. So we'll help you with all that. It's really not that difficult once you kind of get it down. It's not, but it is for somebody who's new and like, it's like, shit, there's a lot of information, but but absolutely you try and try-1R): The posted, put my fitness channel on the mark and like, it got me like 25,000 followers from 1 post was about like just insulin and whatnot at night. Don't eat carbs at night and, like, the world lost It'll kill your
1:08:55Speaker 2World lost his mind. I dipped out after a day, and it ran for months. Yeah. They're fighting with each other. True. It was true. Like, it was it was it was a minute clip too. So it's like, man. It was true. You just left out the like scientific steps in between, but who cares? That's, I said, you're damned if you do, you're damned if you're doing social media world, baby.
1:09:45Speaker 270 grams of carbs, 67 hours of sleep. Goal is to maintain fat loss and maximize muscle gain. So I look like Mr. William T Haws.
1:10:04Speaker 2should dosing change when moving from fat loss to muscle gain? Should I stay on the lowest effective dose taper off or adjust based on appetite and body composition? Question 2: how do I balance GLP appetite suppression
1:10:33Speaker 3I like this 1. That's a good, it's a good question. Go ahead, Michael. I recently did this because I didn't, I went on a bulk, was on Retta,
1:11:19Speaker 4Yeah. I think this is, I mean, the, I think the answer here is a common sense answer.
1:11:24Speaker 4How do we switch from like, what was dosing look like on Retta? Tell me if I have this question right. What would my dosing look like on Retta after I've reached my goal weight and lost all the weight? And now I want to start gaining muscle, but I don't want to stop taking the hour.
1:11:41Speaker 4What would the dose well, here's the deal. Yes, you need to have a if you wanna gain some more muscle, right, you need to be eating some food. Okay? So you definitely cannot be taking so much where that it's restricting your appetite.
1:12:05Speaker 4And which that in turn, right, leads directly into muscle growth. And so there is an argument that you're taking a good amount of R,
1:12:18Speaker 4than just restricting your calories. But I think this all goes hand in hand like, yes, lower the dose,
1:12:25Speaker 4lower the dose. So the bad food noise is gone. You know, you've lost some weight and good for you. Let's stick with those habits, right? Like this is 1 of the benefits of all of this is a huge benefit is like guys keep the momentum, right? You've learned what it's like to eat healthy, right? And to eat less and your stomach has shrunk. I guarantee it. I know this because this happens when I was eating for football, we had to just cram food so we can rate, you can increase stomach. Your stomach shrunk down right now. Don't push it,
1:12:51Speaker 4Lower the RET. You might get a little bit more hungry, but it will take the edge off of that food noise. So but don't
1:12:58Speaker 4don't just jam food in there. Right? Get in that habit of eating till you're satiated
1:13:06Speaker 4Boost up your protein. Just focus on protein, protein, protein, protein, protein. If you're a man and you really wanna gain some muscle, 1.5 g of muscle protein
1:13:21Speaker 4And, yeah, how do you know if Retta is inhibiting your muscle growth? If if shit. If,
1:13:28Speaker 4if R is limiting your muscle growth, well, because you're just not able to eat that correct amount of protein.
1:13:36Speaker 4Other than that, you don't really know, sorry, about the it blunting your growth hormone pathways. Sorry. You just don't really know. But,
1:14:21Speaker 4You know, the true bulk and cut like bodybuilders is so bad for you. Yeah. It really is really, really, really really like dump trucks when they're bulking dudes. Yeah. It is so not good as all of these other questions that have happened, right? That like people talk about, you know, all what it does to your body when you lose a whole bunch of fat rapidly,
1:14:38Speaker 4like, you know, all that waste needs to go somewhere. It's just not good on your body. So,
1:14:52Speaker 4to put muscle on. If it's inhibiting your food intake, then it's inhibiting your I muscle
1:15:08Speaker 2Yeah, man. And here's the thing. So again, you want to remember the goal is not to take anything in perpetuity except for HGH and TRT,
1:15:18Speaker 2Even HGH. Was, I'm not even actually taking it right now. Believe it not. It's the 1st time in years.
1:15:23Speaker 2Cause I was trying to get back to the basics. Was pulling the girl, Thormann out myself for a reason.
1:15:30Speaker 2But you gotta make sure you eat that protein brother. Like I know that he said, you're not eating enough protein. Like you said your weight. So it's a very simple math, eat the protein.
1:15:40Speaker 2don't, you gotta change that mindset because you don't want to stand Retta in perpetuity. You want to come off of it anyway. You want to get your eating habits
1:15:48Speaker 2down because you're 31 dude, we're to be in Reddit forever. So you want to get to the point where you're at and you want to really like start to enforce discipline to the degree where your eating habits have radically changed.
1:16:04Speaker 2right? That's the goal. You're young. You got a lot of time, dude. I'm eating the proper foods at the right time. It's that simple dude. It really is.
1:16:21Speaker 4The way, I'm glad you stopped the phentermine. I mean, for any of us who are in this program, Phen Phen is not, that's what AKA Phen Phen, right? It's just, it's, it's amphetamines,
1:16:35Speaker 4Do you feel about, how do you feel without that? Probably a lot better. Oh, me not being an upper person. I like, I take that stuff.
1:16:54Speaker 4145 pound female that has lost 80 pounds. Holy shit. Good job. That's, that's great. I started Tirz with, that my doctor prescribed me to help my PCOS symptoms.
1:17:11Speaker 4I have done a round of Tessa and AOD, but I don't know what to try next. I'm looking to lose my last 15 pounds,
1:17:18Speaker 4but still keep on muscles since I weight train 3 to 5 times a week. Good job. Good for you, man. That that that is what we yeah. That's somebody just
1:17:31Speaker 4And never going back. Yep. Because life's better. Now I know that she said that just for the r, but, like,
1:17:36Speaker 4I will also interpret I will never change, meaning I'm never gonna put the 80 pounds back on.
1:17:48Speaker 2which is my top 5. I freaking love it. I think 5 Amino was amazing, especially with people that are on GLP-1. And Michael said earlier, it's great.
1:18:10Speaker 2But you can run Tesamorelin for quite some time. I don't know how Rick you, how you, well you ran it, but it's really is really good for that visceral fat, that little belly fat. There really is nothing better than that. But those are 2 that are fat burners that are awesome.
1:18:30Speaker 3Alright. Last 15 pounds is always the hardest. Oh, hang on. Twice as hard for it. So, like, JD said,
1:18:38Speaker 3gonna be at the 5 amino, and then I would add the Moxie in the 2. So it'll give you that extra energy. I'll probably run a little bit of fat too there.
1:18:47Speaker 3So we're kinda hitting the fat at, like, 3 different angles. With the R5 amino and the Moxie. So
1:19:06Speaker 4you've, your, you've lost all this weight, right? And you've guaranteed you lost some muscle. So your metabolism is probably at the slowest it's ever been. So, and then laziness that last little bit, here's the hardest part for people. It's like, you got to start eating more food. So you need my
1:19:28Speaker 4gotta focus on adding muscle. That is how that last little bit of weight actually comes off. I don't know. What's question? I'll miss you if you needed a 100 times. And so that means you're going to need to start eating a little bit more probably,
1:19:42Speaker 4but again, you can eat smart. Doesn't mean necessarily need mean I didn't just, it's not carte blanche to just go eat. Let's add in a little bit more protein. Let's do small frequent meals of of protein.
1:20:01Speaker 4and add some muscle that brings your base metabolism up, and then that will allow you to burn the fat. And then do the other things that they said also to help burn the fat. L carnitine's 1 that wasn't mentioned,
1:20:16Speaker 4yeah, kick ass. You're going to take all these suggestions. It's a guess and check. You're just going to have to try,
1:20:23Speaker 4try different things. Go, wow, that really worked. Okay. I'll do that cycle and then I'll do something else and then I'll come back to that 1 that really worked.
1:20:30Speaker 4You will figure it out. You'll get to know. I mean, you've obviously probably learned a whole lot in this journey so far 2 to 80 pounds.
1:20:55Speaker 2by the time you listen to this, some of you will be signed up for a coaching program. You get a little bit, a little more pieces of us And anything else?
1:21:20Speaker 4And I did do a little switcheroo in the cowboy hat by halfway through, so you're not going crazy.
1:21:26Speaker 2Alright. Yes. I got nothing else. Anything else you got, Michael? Nope. Welcome to school. Pep 10 of the week for the 1st time. Hey. Appreciate it. There'll be many more, hopefully. Stuff.
1:21:42Speaker 2used to surprise him all the time. I'd be like, Eddie, come here. Let's get Mike. Yeah. You know, now I get to actually be in the room instead of listening to the outside. So how cool is that? So, so,
1:21:53Speaker 2you know, you joined the coaching, we're gonna push you. We're gonna push you. We're gonna push you. That's how you're gonna grow. So we're gonna call on you and we're gonna make you uncomfortable because that's when we grow, man. We're not supposed to be comfortable. So get ready, and we're looking forward to talking to you. We'll catch you in the next round.
