0:54Speaker 2Welcome
0:55Speaker 2back to the Peptide of the Week podcast. I'm your host JD Denham across the way mister William T.
1:01Speaker 2Happy Tuesday. Tuesday.
1:04Speaker 3What's up? I don't know. It's my birthday this weekend, which
1:08Speaker 3I don't really like all the attention being paid to me or not very good at being served.
1:13Speaker 3You know I mean? Like,
1:16Speaker 3we go to the pool and
1:18Speaker 3Ally's like, alright, well, we gotta go do this errand. She's like, I'll do it. You just stay there. I'm not very good at that. I'm like, no. I'm like, I'd rather go do the work and you relax.
1:27Speaker 2Yeah.
1:28Speaker 3But actually, I would because I also am not good at sitting still.
1:32Speaker 3For very long now, dude. Like, I can't just lay I can't just, like, lay there in the sun
1:39Speaker 2for, like, 2 hours Really? And do nothing. Oh, man. I can't remember. I need a book, I guess. Yeah. For sure. Is too damn hot, and then I am just uncomfortable. Isn't that crazy as you are younger? I mean, everybody's shared this and has probably thought this where when you're young,
1:53Speaker 2like, you don't take naps, you don't wanna take a nap, you don't wanna sit by a pool and read. Like, as you get older, naps, man. I just
2:00Speaker 2If I could just get a nap in the day, would be rad for so long. And then 2, like laying by a pool and like being having no questions asked to me except for all of me just read this book. Yeah. That's great. That's what I love reading. Yes. Like Yeah. You like stoicism? Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. That I read. I can't remember the name of it. I thought you'd like it. It's on stoicism.
2:18Speaker 2It's a very cool trait, dude. It's a very cool yes. Like, don't I guess Keep your your wits. Don't let people have the energy of
2:27Speaker 3revenue up. Uh-huh. That's Everything is all about yeah. I mean, it really is kind of Jedi stuff. Like, stoicism is all about not wanting for anything, not needing anything, not
2:37Speaker 3ever allowing anybody to affect you,
2:40Speaker 3and always having integrity
2:43Speaker 3and doing only things for the right reasons. Huge.
2:46Speaker 3You know who's big on that and, like, does a lot of practice with this is Kate's father. Oh, yeah? Yeah. Interesting. If you ask Jeff, he'll he'll tell you all about it. And he really yeah. It's cool. I mean, it's pretty hardcore if you go true stoic. Right?
3:01Speaker 2Yeah. The book that I was reading, it was interesting. It was, it had even talked about how,
3:06Speaker 2what's his name? What's it? The, president Kennedy when, when, like, all that stuff was going on with
3:13Speaker 2what was the war we were dealing with? It was the Cuban Missile Crisis. Cuban Missile Crisis. And I was talking about how much pressure that he was under. And
3:22Speaker 2I can't remember exactly what, but he because he was stoic and, like, kept calm because all his generals were like, bomb bomb bomb bomb, like, boom up and Right. Because he kept us cool.
3:32Speaker 3We are we have an Earth. Are alive. Yeah.
3:35Speaker 2Why there's this whole them. Earth isn't this nuclear wasteland. Right. That's good for him. Yeah, so last week we were talking about how,
3:44Speaker 2presents, I'm not big on presents, but this
3:47Speaker 2is how I get presents. I'm not the best present giver, but I will tell you. SLU-1G gave me a iron sharpens iron, like Yeah. Yeah. Thing long time ago, and it still hangs in my office at the house. And, because I love iron sharpens iron. Proverbs 27 17. So I got this big dude. This
4:03Speaker 2thing, which is which is
4:05Speaker 2the band in the arena. The Theodore
4:08Speaker 2Roosevelt is a famous speech. I'd imagine. Most
4:12Speaker 2people
4:13Speaker 3know it because it's such a famous speech,
4:16Speaker 2and, it's always meant something to me. A good friend of mine gave out to me as I started my Instagram channel, I was getting tacked heavily,
4:24Speaker 2like just getting
4:25Speaker 2just the vipers attacking me, but talks about how,
4:29Speaker 2you know, the men who
4:31Speaker 2put themselves on the field are the ones that are gonna succeed and the dudes in the stands are gonna throw down shit, but men are on the field taking the bullets and taking the wounds are the ones that succeeds.
4:42Speaker 3It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. I think the last line of that says, right,
4:49Speaker 3the hero, like,
4:50Speaker 3the true goal is to
4:52Speaker 3you're you will fail. Okay? But you actually have the least achievement.
4:57Speaker 3Have a chance to be a damn hero, and you are still a hero if you try and fail. At least you try. Last line is
5:03Speaker 2Who have the best knows in the end the triumph
5:06Speaker 2over high achievement and who at worst,
5:09Speaker 2if he fails,
5:10Speaker 2at least he fails while daring greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls
5:18Speaker 3who neither know victory nor defeat. Who amused us.
5:22Speaker 3Just sit in mediocrity,
5:24Speaker 2which men
5:25Speaker 2are supposed to climb
5:28Speaker 3shit, climb Everest, whatever it is your Everest is like, you know, and I said, do big shit and
5:34Speaker 3try and try failure
5:37Speaker 3is a part
5:38Speaker 3of life and success. Like if we just only participate in things that we know we're going to win at, that's no Well,
5:46Speaker 2the reason that I gave that to you is because right,
5:50Speaker 2you know,
5:51Speaker 2comfort is the enemy of progress. Like, so I've said it on this podcast numerous times, if you're new, Will doesn't like being on cameras. It's just not his gig. That's why he's in the back doing the stuff and I'm fine with the cameras. But somehow
6:03Speaker 2I did get him on here and it was awkward at 1st because it wasn't a thing. It's awkward for anybody, was awkward at me 1st, but he's always done really well.
6:10Speaker 3But you got uncomfortable bro and you grew. Look at you're kicking ass now, so that's why I thought of that. Good. It's funny, you know, even so my mother's got her master's in theology of religion and we were at this kind of bible study group the other night. And I was talking to our friend,
6:26Speaker 3I said, so, you know, what's up with the
6:30Speaker 3prodigal son story? Right? Like all of these, but like everybody always says, Oh, the people use the word, Oh, the prodigal son. Look, he's the 1 who's awesome and did good. But the story,
6:41Speaker 3if we all know- Even though he spent all the money. The prodigal son is the screw off. Right? Like the good doting son who stayed there, watched the family, tended the farm, kept everything stable and alive,
6:54Speaker 3and did everything he was told to do. Then you have the other 1 who left, partied, blew all the money, did nothing. He comes back and he's celebrated and this other 1 is put down. Well, what's up with that, dude? Well, it's about God's grace is new every day, so he's gonna love you no matter what. Yep. That is it. My mother being,
7:12Speaker 3having to write like theses in
7:14Speaker 3theology and religion, her her point, she said, here's the deal. And you'll see this recurring time and time and time again into other Bible stories. She's in her argument, right, is that basically the Bible, it is about rewarding the person who just dares.
7:30Speaker 3God doesn't care.
7:31Speaker 3Basically, it's a a story of, like, go fail. Just do something different. Go try. Put yourself out there Yeah. And do something crazy.
7:40Speaker 3Well, that's why. You failed, but, like, that's how we progress and we get better, and that's how we actually instead of just idling, sitting in mediocrity,
7:48Speaker 2just doing, this is what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm gonna do this. And you slowly die like that. Yep. I mean, it's not a knock on people that are fine with just kinda getting by. It's not it's not a knock on those people, but I believe
7:59Speaker 2that's such kind of the Genesis of warrior makers. You know, it kind of just happened how it happened, but it's been such a blessing of how it happens because
8:07Speaker 2that warrior gene
8:09Speaker 2is another way that I would say this is the black sheep, but guys like you or me, we've
8:14Speaker 2tore our lives down. But let's talk about the other son.
8:19Speaker 2I don't want to hear a story about a dude that always had his shit together. That's boring. I don't want hear a story about a dude who ripped his damn life to pieces and then had the balls to get back up and like make something better of yourself because
8:31Speaker 2oftentimes you can't see the beauty of the light unless you've seen the darkness. You
8:35Speaker 2know what I mean? You don't just can't really, like, I remember when I 1st got sober, I went down and sat by the beach and like for the 1st time probably ever,
8:43Speaker 2I was noticing the beauty of trees. I was noticing the beauty of just the calmness of sitting at the beach and being content with sitting at the beach. I had never felt that. And that serenity
8:54Speaker 2that comes along with
8:57Speaker 2sobriety, but I think
8:58Speaker 2chasing 3 growth. We're
9:00Speaker 2not being comfortable. We're supposed to be uncomfortable. But again, you know how I say it, like the men that have that warrior gene, the prodigal son, if you will change the world because they take The only way that you might fail on your ass you probably will,
9:14Speaker 3and it's good that you do because why you learn? Absolutely.
9:17Speaker 3You learn. And maybe you're a marker for others, but that still progresses everybody,
9:23Speaker 3the species, or else we would still be just hunting and gathering and just eating berries.
9:28Speaker 3We did no fire. To do a hard right. Nobody
9:31Speaker 3had the risk Yeah. To to to go and fight the damn You go fight the lion or go kill kill the animal. It's hard to kill. Anybody wants to meet and be like, damn, that's good. Are you guys sick of these berries? I'm
9:42Speaker 2gonna go off and try to fight this guy.
9:44Speaker 3So,
9:45Speaker 1good stuff, man. That's cool. I like I, it a
9:48Speaker 2got 1 for myself because I usually get 1 for me and 1 for you and my wife does that stuff. Babe, that's a little big. So
9:55Speaker 2I like it, But it's dope. So good stuff, man. Today
9:59Speaker 2is a Q and A, everybody's favorite, man. And we love you guys. You're always so kind in
10:05Speaker 3your questions and comments. So we appreciate every 1 of you guys. We'll kick us off. Sure. All right. Question 1. Hi, JD and Will. Love the podcast. I listen every week. I'm 38 year old male with 8 10 total tests. My free test is 11.
10:19Speaker 3All right. Bioavailable
10:21Speaker 3is 3 10. I feel good, but want to feel optimal. My SHBG
10:26Speaker 3is above the normal range. Right? Through consultation,
10:30Speaker 3it seems like I'm not eating enough carbs, but I want to stay lean.
10:33Speaker 3I do 16 hour fast 4 times a week and stick to meat, fat, and fruit, and I do some form of working out every day with 4 days of lifting heavy each week. Currently, I'm taking Retta 0.5 mg
10:46Speaker 3Monday,
10:47Speaker 3Thursday, and 75 mgs of NAD plus Monday, Thursday. Alright? I was told to take boron and introduce more carbs into my diet. In doing some research, it seems like Kisspeptin
10:58Speaker 3might help free up some of my testosterone.
11:01Speaker 3Is there anything else I should be considering?
11:04Speaker 3How would you go about addressing this? Good 1. That's a good question.
11:09Speaker 2Yeah. Go ahead. You got some weight loss, what could we're if your sex hormone binding globulin is high, which it is, it's
11:17Speaker 2going to basically hold down that test. So that's not going to release some of the free tests, which is for people that don't know the free test is what you want. It's going to give you your energy,
11:28Speaker 2most clarity of thought.
11:30Speaker 2Sex drive. We all want that sex drive.
11:33Speaker 2And that is what you're low on. So you know that you want to get that down now. Kisspeptin,
11:39Speaker 2know, you can work, but I think
11:41Speaker 2in regards to your fasting and whatnot, you could be
11:45Speaker 2not eating enough calories. I'm sure you know this by now that I fast a lot and I was going to really kind of bring down my fasting. I've really been studying it a lot, you know, and kind of circling in and out. But I think fasting is great for many reasons.
12:00Speaker 2But 1 of the things that you can do when you don't, when you fast is you don't eat enough, or you don't definitely don't eat enough protein.
12:07Speaker 2So you want to increase your protein. Now you can increase your carbs
12:12Speaker 2if you want,
12:13Speaker 2but I would just make sure you're eating enough calories.
12:16Speaker 2And
12:17Speaker 2what's been working for me and try this, I still love carnivore. I'm saying like an eighty-twenty carnivore and what I've done with a lot of thinking and like just methodically planning my diet out. I love carnivore too much to just walk away for it. I'm eating carbs
12:32Speaker 2before I work out and carbs after I work out, especially I'll up the carbs on leg day. So generally 40 to maybe 50 carbs before the workout
12:42Speaker 2and then around that same after workout
12:46Speaker 2and then I fast. And so at nighttime it's,
12:49Speaker 2it's protein and it's, I'll bring the fat down a little bit because of the carbs,
12:54Speaker 2which is really high protein.
12:56Speaker 2That works for me. So that will help. I think instead of adding something into the mix,
13:03Speaker 2I think if you just did something like that by making sure you're eating enough calories,
13:10Speaker 2that's going to change it a lot. You
13:13Speaker 2know, if your calories are too low, if you're being overweight, you don't say your weight in here. Did he?
13:20Speaker 3But it sounded like you didn't.
13:22Speaker 3So you,
13:24Speaker 2right. So too low calories can actually do what it's doing. So you it's, this is like, you're perfect. It sounds like why you're doing that is you have low calories. I bet you if you just raise your calories and eat more, you're
13:35Speaker 2going to get a little bigger and you're going to feel a little bit better. So try what I'm doing. I literally just posted something today of my fasting protocol and when my carbs. So if you look at the reel that I put today, it's a carousel.
13:47Speaker 2I wrote that up today and how my guys put it together. So we can check that out maybe. Yeah. I agree with everything you said. I think that other
13:54Speaker 3it is very true. I think that the calories need to go up a little
14:01Speaker 3restriction and low, like, insulin signaling
14:05Speaker 3and
14:06Speaker 3fasting
14:07Speaker 3can absolutely contribute to an elevated SHBG.
14:11Speaker 3So Yep. Maybe chill on the fasting, listen to JD also add carbs in, but like you did say, Hey, don't wanna add carbs because I wanna stay lean. So cool. Add carbs in, but be smart about when you introduce the That's it. You eat them
14:26Speaker 3pre heavy lifting days. Okay? Like that's what you wanna add them in, like nothing at night. You can have some good
14:34Speaker 3some good healthy natural carbs, like in the morning time. Right? Because then you're moving all day long and burning those off. Right? But so you can add those in and that makes a that will probably make a big difference. Drug wise,
14:46Speaker 3Enclomiphene is something to think about. I think the Kisspeptin, since you're on TRT, you're on TRT. Is it not? Yeah. Is it?
14:53Speaker 3Kisspeptin may not do it because
14:57Speaker 3basically if you're on TRT,
15:00Speaker 3your pituitary is not thinking about making any more natural tests and that's what Kisspeptin
15:06Speaker 3does and so it kinda shuts off the Kisspeptin
15:09Speaker 3from working.
15:10Speaker 3But you can try Enclomiphene,
15:12Speaker 3would do the same thing, but it does not, it is not, it starts, it works downstream.
15:18Speaker 3So it's not affected by your pituitary already
15:21Speaker 3saying I have a lot of testosterone in me. Okay. If you're not on TOT, everything I'm saying is don't worry about it. Cause I don't think he doesn't say that. I don't think he does actually. But,
15:33Speaker 3and Klomiphene is a good idea. Also the, the,
15:36Speaker 3you want to go straight to the source and if you're willing to do this, pro virin, pro virin is in a It will yeah. Fix it free. It's a great idea. Absolutely. Oh, wow. That's great. It's a super duper mild anabolic androgenic
15:49Speaker 3steroid. Right? It's an oral. It's a tablet.
15:52Speaker 3And
15:53Speaker 3people the best you'll see out there, people go, oh, I take Proviren because it enhances everything. Well, why does it enhance everything? It literally goes in, so you have your androgen receptor, right, and your sex hormone binding globulin
16:05Speaker 3essentially binds to this whole receptor
16:08Speaker 3and but we need this receptor. That's where the testosterone
16:11Speaker 3connects. Once it connects, hey, our body feels that test. Right? But if the whole thing is covered Yeah. With sex hormone binding, then you have this much room for your test to grab on, and and that's not enough. So you take Revirin, it just
16:26Speaker 3tears that all off and makes that androgen receptor fresh,
16:30Speaker 3and now everything can attach to it. So now all the tests, everything else,
16:35Speaker 3is gonna work a whole lot better and your body will work a lot better. That was a good call on that. I didn't think about Proviron. It
16:42Speaker 2really will free up some of your free tests. I would make sure you're on TRT though. Yes.
16:47Speaker 3Get Proviron could shut you down. If anything, Proviron is the 1 that like does it actually on paper. So Proviron will actually kind of boost testosterone,
16:54Speaker 3natural testosterone. Now in practice,
16:58Speaker 3don't really know. I mean, yeah, it's hard to say because it still is a steroid, but I would yeah. I mean, I if anything,
17:05Speaker 3Proviron would be the 1 that I would say is probably is better off,
17:09Speaker 3you can maybe get away with not taking being on tests. Yeah.
17:12Speaker 3But better with tests because everything is.
17:15Speaker 2Well, you're 38. So,
17:18Speaker 2yes. You know, I mean, your free test is okay. Eightsin. I mean, it's actually bad, but that, that low, that low free test is too low, man. Yeah. And then magnesium, zinc,
17:26Speaker 3are also good micronutrients
17:28Speaker 3and boron.
17:29Speaker 3Yeah. Yeah. Try them all.
17:31Speaker 3So see what,
17:33Speaker 2do it that in whatever order you want to do it. Good stuff. That was a good question. Mhmm. Like, good stuff. Good stuff.
17:39Speaker 2We've had a question like that in a while. And join the podcast and the community. Keep up the great work. My question is around gout,
17:47Speaker 2which is an, unusual buildup of uric uric acid in the joints, mostly in the toes and feet, causing redness, swelling, and very painful situations that generally last a few days. There's a genetic component
18:00Speaker 2to Galtona family members who suffer
18:02Speaker 2from affliction intermediately.
18:05Speaker 2Are there any peptides that have been shown to prevent it or at least,
18:10Speaker 2I crossed over that, lower the symptoms, the inflammatory
18:14Speaker 2response mitigation,
18:16Speaker 2has
18:16Speaker 2KPV
18:17Speaker 2and TA-one come to mind?
18:20Speaker 3Thoughts on this or anything else? Thank you. Good. Yes, nailed it. So I would absolutely KPV and TA-one and BPC. So like,
18:29Speaker 3KPV for sure is known to just kind of inhibit cascade of of the inflammation that may be happening, and that is what happening when you have gout.
18:39Speaker 3BPC
18:40Speaker 3as well. So KPV,
18:43Speaker 3TA-one,
18:44Speaker 3BPC,
18:45Speaker 3and then even some honorable mentions. The funny thing is when you read about AOD,
18:49Speaker 3it's actually kind of this weird
18:51Speaker 3research finding that AOD can
18:54Speaker 3help with inflammation in like tendon
18:57Speaker 3and joint
18:58Speaker 3recovery.
18:59Speaker 3It's like, how does that even work?
19:02Speaker 3Because it's now, I guess it's a derivative of of it comes from the HGH chain,
19:07Speaker 3but it has none of that growth possibility. But
19:11Speaker 3SS-thirty 1, honorable mention also for this
19:15Speaker 3to help reducing inflammation and and because your mitochondria plays a role in how on in oxidative stress and how you handle your body handles inflammation,
19:26Speaker 3and AOD might also be something to throw it out at it. But TA-1BPC
19:30Speaker 3and KPV
19:32Speaker 3are the top obvious winners.
19:34Speaker 2Yeah, was curious about his weight. He didn't put his weight. It would help guys if you put your weight, age, some of those things are important when it comes to answering some of these, at least the best that we're able to,
19:44Speaker 2he already said TA1 and KPV.
19:47Speaker 2Amazing. It's going to lower your inflammation and boost your immunity.
19:52Speaker 2He really answered it. How about alcohol? Cut out alcohol if you think Yeah. That's probably the most given. Hopefully, you don't drink because that definitely can, worsen gout for sure at a buddy that drank so much and he had the worst gout. Can you put, like, blankets over his toes? Jeez. Yeah, I was like, bro, you think you might wanna stop drinking.
20:09Speaker 3And then sugar, which obviously goes along with alcohol, but,
20:13Speaker 2clean up the diet,
20:14Speaker 2maybe cut out some carbs for a bit,
20:17Speaker 2you know? And, just kind of go that route, you know? And, that might help. So there you go.
20:22Speaker 1All
20:23Speaker 3right, ready? This is a short 1. Question number 3. When you're cycling
20:28Speaker 3off GHK-
20:29Speaker 3MOTS-3one,
20:32Speaker 3what are peptides to replace the benefit of these PEPs when you're cycling off? If you cycle off GHK-one
20:39Speaker 3and add GLO or CLO, are you really cycling off?
20:43Speaker 3No. It's an odd question. It's an odd question. So,
20:47Speaker 3no, I mean, GLO and CLO have GHK-one
20:51Speaker 3there. So
20:52Speaker 3that does not count as cycling off of GHK-two.
20:55Speaker 3You are just adding b p c you're you're continuing GHK-two.
21:00Speaker 3You're adding in BPC, TB, and and KPV in the CLO scenario.
21:05Speaker 3NAD. So now you said, Hey, what could I replace essentially with MOTS-1C
21:09Speaker 3and SS-thirty 1? Okay.
21:12Speaker 1Those
21:13Speaker 3are mitochondrial
21:15Speaker 3peptides. They're focused on
21:17Speaker 3keeping your mitochondria well
21:19Speaker 3strong, healthy, and giving it energy. So
21:23Speaker 3NAD is the 1st 1 that comes to mind. I would have a 100%
21:27Speaker 3add in NAD others.
21:31Speaker 2Well, no, what do you got? I mean, it's great. You don't say much. It's super vague in regards to the question. What's your age? What's your weight? Are you hormonally optimized? What's your objective?
21:42Speaker 2You're taking these for, obviously I'm assuming for energy to maybe fix your mitochondria,
21:47Speaker 2but you do want to take a break. You know, I speak with experience. You want to take a break. Will already said NAD is going to be great. Hopefully you are on TRT.
21:56Speaker 2I would throw in a secretagogue.
21:58Speaker 2I do wish I knew your weight because that kind of is contingent upon that. HGH will always take the top seat.
22:04Speaker 2Then for, I think Will and I both, I think he likes it to Tesof Ipah. I like to just plain Tessa, but, any secretagogue would do well,
22:12Speaker 2and contingent upon the GHK-1R
22:32Speaker 35 amino 1 MQ is another 1 that can can help out mitochondrial functions. So that's another good 1 to me replacing. And it helps burn fat. Yeah.
22:42Speaker 3And everything he just said is also will work, not I mean, and then again, in
22:47Speaker 3depending on why you were taking the GHKCU, BPC and TB-five hundred. Because they do share a lot of the same properties. Yeah. So,
22:54Speaker 3if you're looking, you know, the healing portions. You can put all that on any type of You can add that on anything.
22:59Speaker 3And really the reason you want to cycle off is
23:04Speaker 3just because your body starts building a tolerance and it just stops working
23:07Speaker 3So as
23:08Speaker 3that is the main reason in all these peptides that you want to cycle off, Not that, like, continued use is gonna cause severe withdrawals or anything like that or it's bad for you.
23:18Speaker 3Now GHKCU,
23:19Speaker 3you get that 1. You don't wanna just constantly just flood yourself with copper. Yeah.
23:24Speaker 3That 1 you do want to cycle off for other reasons because it might end up being bad for you after
23:29Speaker 2a while. I would think though, even in like mitochondria,
23:32Speaker 2like we, we, if like the objective is to fix this stuff and then to not run them in perpetuity. I mean, TRT is probably will be around for perpetuity, maybe even HGH, but some, you know, the objective isn't like, let's take these forever. Right?
23:45Speaker 2And it'll be good for your pocketbook, but it's to fix the mitochondria,
23:49Speaker 2the SS-31first
23:50Speaker 2and MOTS-3.0 then take a break. NAD without a doubt will be a good replacement.
23:55Speaker 1Yep. Best you can replace. All right.
23:57Speaker 2All right.
23:59Speaker 2Okay. There seems to be no gray area with AOD-nine
24:03Speaker 2604 in regards to if it works or not. People say it does, or people say it's great. How can there be such a gap on its efficiency? JD says it's 1 of his top 5,
24:14Speaker 2but others say it's trash. It's very true. I'm intrigued by AOD. Could you go deeper in the peptide
24:20Speaker 2and why such varying opinions?
24:22Speaker 2Yeah, I love AOD
24:24Speaker 2now.
24:26Speaker 2AOD is not Retatrutide.
24:28Speaker 2It's not going to affect your appetite. So
24:32Speaker 2we humans want an instant,
24:34Speaker 2I want it to work right now. Right? So that's not the type of peptide. So the reason I like it in particular is because I'm in pretty good shape. So
24:43Speaker 2my diet's
24:44Speaker 2usually prime. My workouts are prime. I'm hormonally optimized.
24:49Speaker 2So it works great for me. It's, you know, anti obesity drug, its main job is to burn fat. I'm a fat burner guy and
24:57Speaker 2I will always be that. And that's why. So do I think AOD would work against a Retatrutide? Not even close. If you're not hormonally optimized,
25:06Speaker 2if you need to lose 50 pounds,
25:09Speaker 2and you're not working out much, AOD is going to suck. So that's probably the type of person answering that. Not always, but that's probably why. So it's not going to replace some of the things
25:19Speaker 2that I think give you the instant gratification,
25:23Speaker 2but ran properly on top of a good diet,
25:26Speaker 2on top of HGH,
25:27Speaker 2on top of being hormonally optized.
25:29Speaker 0I think AOD is great. It literally is my top 5, and I'd just that's why. Yep. Very good answer. Sierra has all the best active and outdoor brands you need. From athletic stuff, like a full court pickup game,
25:41Speaker 0swish,
25:42Speaker 0to athletic stuff, like 0.5 mile stroll. Get those steps in. And for morning hikes up the mountain trail, good pace,
25:51Speaker 0to nighttime ghost stories from the camping chair. What
25:54Speaker 1a twist.
25:55Speaker 0Whatever level of active, Sierra loves it all. Head to Sierra or sierra.com for the brands you want at the prices that let you do it all. From athletic to athletic, Sierra's got it. Propel fitness water. With Gator electrolytes,
26:08Speaker 10 sugar, and vitamins. Propel hydrates better than water to help you get the most out of your workout and get back to your best self. What propels you? Propel with Gatorade electrolytes.
26:20Speaker 3And that is true. There's a lot of reasons. A, like, well, 1st of all, like HGH frag, AOD is just as slightly as is 1
26:27Speaker 31, less amino acid than HGH frag, but it's it's just
26:32Speaker 3it's, manipulated to be a little bit more stable, but bodybuilders have been taking HGH forever
26:36Speaker 3and then having good results with it. K? And that but it is AOD is should be a, like an adjunct treatment peptide. Right? Like, it should not be your, like, this is my fat burner. Yeah. It's like the sauce on top. Exactly. It's kind of the sauce on top. And it works way better when everything else, like you said, is is going right. Yeah. Right? So a lot of people may say, oh, it doesn't work because they're because they're not doing anything else right, and therefore, is not gonna work. There it does make a huge difference if you take it in a fasted state. So anybody who's taking it with a full stomach,
27:13Speaker 3of food is just basically blunting its effects. Sure. It also is it can degrade really fast and
27:20Speaker 3is very finicky with water. We know it's like hydrophobic
27:23Speaker 3and you need to mix it with acetic acid, but it can degrade very fast. And so maybe people have checked your sources of where you get this from. Right? You're handling your own handling procedures and because so you don't ruin your own product. Right? That can contribute to people saying that it's crap. Yeah.
27:41Speaker 3And
27:43Speaker 3I guess
27:44Speaker 3yeah. Well, that was great. That's about it. It it works. Like
27:49Speaker 3HGH,
27:50Speaker 3right? People think of HGH when this baseball controversy like, oh, HGH, that guy is so ripped. Like, he's doing HGH. Right? They don't they don't and until they take it, like, it's it's it's under it is it's underwhelming from what people really think. Right. It's not gonna be It's an uneducated opinion that you don't know what you're talking about. You have no idea what you're You haven't even, like, studied this at all. And that's the whole real deal. HGH is kind of underwhelming on the fatberg, but it works, but it works over time and subtly. Totally.
28:18Speaker 2Well, like Will says, like, you only sometimes even notice it when you take it out. Yeah. Yeah. You're like, okay, I'm getting a little pudgy. I'll stop taking that shit. You know what mean? Yep. Yeah. Perfect as I said. Alright. Am I up? Yeah.
28:29Speaker 3Sure.
28:30Speaker 1Okay.
28:33Speaker 3Okay. I think I have are. There you are. It's a big 1. It's a long paragraph.
28:41Speaker 3Hey, guys. 1st of all, love your podcast and
28:43Speaker 3the school you've created. I love you so much, and peptides have become a way to finally work with my husband on my passion for healthy living. Right on. Several questions here. I'm a 38 year old female, with celiac disease, GI issues, and intestinal
28:57Speaker 3cystitis
28:59Speaker 3and
29:00Speaker 3cystitis
29:02Speaker 3My current stat consists of GLOW and DSIP at night,
29:06Speaker 3CLO
29:07Speaker 3and DSIP.
29:09Speaker 3Morning is 5 Amino-1MQ,
29:11Speaker 3MOTS-1C, and I add AOD on my workout days 3 to 4 days a week. Been on tirzepatide a few months. Recently discovered Retta.
29:20Speaker 3I have been microdosing
29:22Speaker 3both, but just the last couple of weeks. I also use NAD midday, 3 to 4 days a week, 30 units from a 500 mg vial, which should be just 30 mg.
29:35Speaker 3If you're adding 5 mils, then it's 30 mg. I'm doing basic dosing for all of the above, but still seem to be lacking energy wise. And my sleep debt score stays fairly high. I weight train 4 days a week and get in just enough get in just cardio 1 to 2 days a week. I track my macros to stick to a 140 of protein daily,
29:56Speaker 3at least a 120 ounces of water, and I'm careful about not eating much added sugar. I'm down from 100 50 2 3 months ago down to 1 39,
30:04Speaker 3and I feel a big drop in inflammation. I'm doing basic dosing for all the above, but still seems to be lacking energy wise. Wait a minute.
30:11Speaker 3I think that just repeated. My bad. So did I end that correctly? Yeah. Any suggestions? Here, here it goes. Any suggestions
30:20Speaker 3on my stack or dosages?
30:22Speaker 3Any suggestions on labs to watch for? And any suggestions to help out knock out my lower belly fat? That was a great question. Yes, it was. It really was very articulate. And when you go? No, please let me digest it after reading.
30:36Speaker 2So I have
30:38Speaker 2I'm going to be very straight with you. I think that you have not checked your hormones. You probably need to be hormonally optimized. I know that's
30:46Speaker 2coming around for ladies, but there's still a lot of ladies that don't know that they need to check their hormones.
30:51Speaker 2And
30:52Speaker 2you,
30:53Speaker 2you literally could just get on a little bit of testosterone and that could change all of this. The lack of energy, your age,
30:59Speaker 2everything you said, that little pooch at the bottom, that could be testosterone. It could be estrogen. It could be all kinds of things and hormones need to be checked. So without a doubt, I'm almost certain that's what it is. So like thyroid panel, iron,
31:12Speaker 2B12, vitamin D, cortisol,
31:14Speaker 2fasting insulin for sure, glucose,
31:17Speaker 2and hormones.
31:19Speaker 2Check your dang hormones, girl. I bet you, your hormones are off now.
31:24Speaker 2Will and I talk about this all the time for men because we are men, but it's coming up so much,
31:29Speaker 2that ladies,
31:31Speaker 2you got to get these hormones checked.
31:34Speaker 2You do not need to feel like shit if you're a man or a woman.
31:37Speaker 2You should be horny because that's a thing that God gave us. So if that should be a beacon, if you're not,
31:44Speaker 2that's hormones.
31:46Speaker 2And you shouldn't have such low of energy if you're healthy and you're eating right and whatnot. So the fact that you don't have the energy
31:52Speaker 2and I don't know what your sex drive is, but if you don't have a sex drive, I'm going tell you that's the hormones.
31:59Speaker 2And I bet you the testosterone might be your answer, but the hormones will tell you the answer because it's not your, the peptides you take are not going to be working well unless
32:08Speaker 2you get your hormones in place.
32:11Speaker 2And as we age, that is a constant
32:14Speaker 2audible that we need to continue
32:16Speaker 2to find that sweet spot. I'm currently in 1 right now, but I'm doing a lot of research to
32:22Speaker 2get myself back into my sweet spot.
32:25Speaker 2And it also could be
32:27Speaker 2sleep.
32:28Speaker 2We've talked about it numerous times that it's popping up everywhere
32:32Speaker 2because it's obviously for a reason. If you do not sleep, your cortisol is going be high and your cortisol will,
32:39Speaker 2it takes the top seat of everything. If you're not sleeping and your cortisol is high, you will not lose the weight. There's no chance in hell. And it doesn't matter how much testosterone you're on. So
32:49Speaker 2fix your sleep. I have a protocol that has been just life changing for me. So if you, whatever channels that you follow us on, if you just say, Hey, JD said to send this, I will literally, or my team will send you the
33:02Speaker 2protocol that has changed my life. I slept like 8.5 hours last night and I was sleeping 3 for like a year. And like, I'm just like waking up and just feeling like 1000000 bucks. The cortisol is gonna keep you at that. You're not losing that belly fat girl. Then obviously Tesamorelin, once you got it, you get that stuff
33:20Speaker 2in line, the Tesamorelin is gonna be your answer, but it's hormones in my opinion. What you got? You think that's the thing? Yes, but I think that 1 thing ought to be explored with celiac disease and GI issues is like
33:32Speaker 3malabsorption
33:33Speaker 3of the nutrients that you are actually eating. Good point. Right? That could be absolutely
33:38Speaker 3contributing
33:39Speaker 3to
33:40Speaker 3the lack of energy. Absolutely. So
33:43Speaker 3your body, just your gut, not being able to absorb properly all the nutrients that you're actually putting in, and then that resulting in lower energy. So I would think of that and there is some, some, you asked, there's some panels that can give us some clues to that, some blood panels. I wrote those down so to tell you slowly.
34:02Speaker 3Sleep, yeah, I mean, your sleep needs to get better, right? That's going to affect everything. And 100% your cortisol,
34:09Speaker 3your energy.
34:11Speaker 3So I would try to maybe add an Epitalon.
34:14Speaker 3Who knows? Again, with these peptides, it's crazy how like some, once you find that sweet spot, right? There's 1 little, 1 little like, maladjusted thing in each individual's body, right, and you sometimes use the peptide that actually affects that and then bam, everything works better. So I
34:30Speaker 3I would,
34:31Speaker 31, just guess Epitalon.
34:33Speaker 3Try that to help sync up your circadian rhythm.
34:37Speaker 3It might actually just make a huge difference in your sleep. K?
34:40Speaker 3And also Tesamorelin,
34:42Speaker 3not necessarily for the sleep, but just for everything. For the belly fat, right, it is there. It is it is
34:48Speaker 3made to burn fat on your belly and and the fat around your organs.
34:53Speaker 3So and it will keep muscle on you, which will
34:57Speaker 3increase fat burning, increase fat burning,
35:00Speaker 3increase
35:01Speaker 3and increase your muscle saving
35:04Speaker 3and therefore boost your metabolism.
35:06Speaker 3So the growth hormone secretagogue specifically Tesamorelin do. For the panel, here's what I would try and go get tested for. So a full
35:15Speaker 3thyroid
35:16Speaker 3panel, TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3, cortisol in AM and PM,
35:23Speaker 3comprehensive iron panel with
35:26Speaker 3ferritin, sex hormones, estradiol, progesterone,
35:29Speaker 3DHEAS,
35:31Speaker 3and an organic acids test to assess your mitochondrial function.
35:37Speaker 3Where'd you get that 1? You might need,
35:40Speaker 3to talk to our friend, Doctor. Scott to
35:44Speaker 3get that test, but, and we can kind of put you in touch with, with him there.
35:48Speaker 2He's like, woah dude.
35:50Speaker 2That's great. Yeah. So get in touch with Scott because the gut stuff,
35:54Speaker 2you probably have heard me talk about a lot. I've been dealing with it for years. There's another question coming up about,
35:59Speaker 2some good stuff and it's, it's a nightmare. It's a nightmare. But, again, we can feel great and we should feel great. I think that's how God created us, but that takes work.
36:10Speaker 2Takes sometimes a lot of like stuff doing a lot of stuff that we don't want to do and checking your gut, checking your hormones without a doubt should be 1st just because it's the easiest 1. And then go into what if you use Doctor. Scott, what my opinion is, he'll run a stool test, which is kind of gross,
36:26Speaker 2but, it's
36:28Speaker 2where you need to go to fix your gut stuff.
36:30Speaker 3Yep. And needless to say, I don't know, but KPV,
36:33Speaker 1BPC for I your
36:36Speaker 2mean, we had, Paul on here and like we, you know, we said for the autoimmune stuff, which is gut related mostly, is going to be like 3 weeks of the TA-one
36:45Speaker 2Thymosin,
36:48Speaker 2what is it? Thymosin. Thymosin.
36:50Speaker 2Which we're working on. And then we got, the LL-thirty 7, which you're gonna run super low dose at like 100 micrograms for 40 days. And then you're going to follow it up and sweep it all out with VIP for 10. So
37:02Speaker 2that's on do I think we have that on our site, right? So if not- We should go check to make sure.
37:08Speaker 2But
37:10Speaker 2that helps with gut stuff and autoimmune stuff, but you need to figure out what it is
37:15Speaker 2and then you can fix it. Yeah.
37:17Speaker 2Is it my up? Yep.
37:19Speaker 2I'm 53 and have no idea where I'm supposed to, or should have started.
37:25Speaker 2Been on tests for a year and 0.5 and read it off and on since September.
37:29Speaker 2Going to start SS-thirty 1 with MOTS-C and then NAD this week. Could use some growth hormone too. Just a lot out there. It's a bit overwhelming.
37:39Speaker 2I wish there were more defined paths to take. Any help would be amazing.
37:45Speaker 3Well,
37:46Speaker 3I mean, it's hard to give you a defined path without telling us what you want to do or what the issues are.
37:53Speaker 3So
37:56Speaker 3if
37:57Speaker 3you are trying to have some more energy,
38:00Speaker 3I think that as starting with SS-thirty 1, then going to MOTS-1s): And then AD is a good choice. And for overall
38:07Speaker 3internal,
38:08Speaker 3like longevity health, those are a good call. And you seem to be listening and doing those things.
38:14Speaker 3That's great growth hormone support. I would take Tesamorelin plus Ipamorelin blend. You're 53, so you are a candidate for just pure HGH,
38:23Speaker 3but not always easy to find.
38:26Speaker 3Okay. But Tesamorelin, Ipamorelin blend for the growth hormone because yeah, for sure. You probably need it. At 53, it just is what it is and it will help with everything.
38:34Speaker 3Other
38:36Speaker 3than that, I don't know what your,
38:39Speaker 3yeah. Hard to say. You don't see your objectives. If
38:42Speaker 3those are the objectives, those, that is what, what are good ideas to take.
38:47Speaker 2HGH is what I got. Hey. At 53, I'm gonna tell you you need it.
38:51Speaker 2I would just go with HGH
38:53Speaker 22 IU, done deal. And, like you said, you didn't tell us your objectives, but you should be on HGH 53 in my opinion. If you go on to our school and into the, what's the 2nd tier called?
39:05Speaker 3Not VIP, but what's the 2nd 1? Anyway,
39:09Speaker 3we have a whole bunch of different protocols for different
39:12Speaker 3for different
39:13Speaker 3situations. So
39:15Speaker 3maybe if you look through there, the premium
39:18Speaker 3membership,
39:19Speaker 3it's $25 a month. That's it. Right? We spend this I mean, if I if I need to justify why we charge money, it's like, we need to feed the children, and it's a whole lot of,
39:31Speaker 3it's a whole lot of work and expertise put into that. Okay? Years and years and years and years and We years of have a really good friend of ours, Will, was saying before this, who is just
39:41Speaker 2like, kinda like a brother, like, just such a good dude, and he signed up for that without even telling us because we would have given it to him for free for sure. And he would he called Will and said, dude, this is awesome. He's like, oh, man. And for him to say that Yeah. Speaks 4 And he's in this business and I've been in this business for him to say that we were both, wow, that's rad. Yeah.
40:00Speaker 3It's worth, so like just
40:03Speaker 3go in, I would suggest you go in there and there's a whole bunch of just see if anything goes, oh, that's what I'm lacking.
40:08Speaker 3Oh, that's what I should take. And how much? Okay. Might just do the job for you.
40:13Speaker 3Yeah. There's some direction.
40:15Speaker 3All
40:16Speaker 3right. So what's happening from
40:19Speaker 3NE Northeast Texas.
40:22Speaker 3Thanks 1000000 for all you guys and gals are doing. Y'all
40:25Speaker 3selling it right, selling it right, setting it right now. I'm 43. It's starting to get my health back on track 2 months ago,
40:32Speaker 32 months ago through better nutrition, exercise, and peptides. Current stack is a 1 mg of Tessa,
40:39Speaker 3300 micrograms,
40:40Speaker 3good for you, daily,
40:42Speaker 31.5 mgs of Reta 3 times a week,
40:45Speaker 31 mg 5 m, 1 MQ daily, the Wolverine to the hip daily for an old injury, Wolverine to the hip daily for okay. 30 mg of NAD 3 times a week.
40:57Speaker 3500
40:58Speaker 3micrograms AOD daily. Gone for $2.25 to $1.95 and feeling great. I have my total and free T check 1 month ago and I was at 4 65
41:08Speaker 3and
41:09Speaker 37.2.
41:10Speaker 3Yikes.
41:11Speaker 3My plan is to,
41:13Speaker 3continue doing what I'm doing for 1 to 2 months to see if the lifestyle change naturally helps my numbers.
41:18Speaker 3I am now, looking to add more muscle by adding IGF-one
41:23Speaker 3and we'll start that tomorrow. Please help me with any advice. Good plan. Should I start the DHEA
41:29Speaker 3that I've heard about to help with the low free count?
41:33Speaker 3My, for my bride, is it cool to take GHKCU
41:36Speaker 3and use the blue goddess at the same time? Can
41:40Speaker 3AOD in AOD water be mixed with an injection of other peptides?
41:45Speaker 3Probably not. Thanks a lot. Love you guys.
41:49Speaker 3Those are good questions. Dude. I appreciate
41:51Speaker 3it, man.
41:53Speaker 3Guess actually,
41:55Speaker 3so, so everything you are taking
41:57Speaker 3is sounds really good. Like all of your dosages
42:01Speaker 3and frankly good for you. If you want to, like you have made progress, no doubt, Now from 02/25 to 195 and you're feeling great. So like if you're in this progress chain and momentum is train and momentum is rolling, don't get off. Hell yeah. Keep writing it. The test, despite
42:18Speaker 3your low testosterone score,
42:20Speaker 3you're still making that much progress. And that's really, that's, that's impressive. Amazing.
42:25Speaker 3And if you want to wait
42:28Speaker 3as long as you can before taking testosterone, then I respect that. Okay.
42:32Speaker 3Cool. If you wanna wait and see if your lifestyle changes really helped that, I'd be interested to know how much they helped that also. I don't know if they actually will. I think ultimately you probably want to go into testosterone and that will open up your life to
42:44Speaker 3to so much more. Right? Holy shit. Why didn't I do this sooner? But good,
42:49Speaker 3but just good for you, dude. I would keep on going as far as and should I start the DHEA? Yes.
42:55Speaker 3Yeah. You can even start in clomiphene.
42:58Speaker 3That if you wanna do a little starter before actual testosterone,
43:01Speaker 3and clomiphene
43:02Speaker 3is where I would point you.
43:06Speaker 3It seems to just be proven to actually work, for actually increasing testosterone
43:11Speaker 3naturally. And, yes, it's cool if your wife takes the GHKCu
43:14Speaker 3injected and
43:15Speaker 3topical at the same time. Yes. There's no problem. There's no problem at all.
43:20Speaker 3The topical is not really
43:22Speaker 3getting into your bloodstream
43:24Speaker 3and system
43:25Speaker 3the way that the injectable is. So we're not worried about that. We recommend it. Absolutely.
43:29Speaker 3I recommend it. Still. I do it.
43:32Speaker 2Yeah. I was curious how you were going to answer that.
43:35Speaker 2So it was funny. Like we said, we don't talk about these until we sit down, which is always, it's been a lot better, but I don't know, man. I'm going to say, just get on testosterone. Sorry, this is my thing. Mean, your levels are there. You feel good, but you could feel freaking amazing.
43:48Speaker 2And in 3 weeks you could be like, Oh my gosh, I forgot how good that you can feel. That's Tesofensine. And that's just my opinion now. For whatever reason you want to hold off each his own man, I respect it. I just think that it's easy fix. That's why I want to know your age.
44:04Speaker 2If you were 34, that would answer would probably be a little bit different. It's like, keep where you're at, man. And see what you could do. But at your age, I would say definitely go on TRT.
44:13Speaker 2You don't say much about,
44:15Speaker 2sleep.
44:16Speaker 2Is your cortisol high?
44:18Speaker 2What is your current lifestyle, calorie intake? Those things are going be huge. I don't think that you should do
44:23Speaker 2the IGF-one
44:25Speaker 2until you get those hormones optimized in my opinion. I don't know if you were going to agree with that, but you can. But again, I think if you get your hormones optimized,
44:34Speaker 2you're feeling great now, but what also is going to happen is these peptides are going to work way better because you're hormonally optimized. So if you feel good now, you're going to feel great. The money you're spending on that peptides are going to be worth more because they're going to work better. So that's my stance. Definitely
44:51Speaker 3do not mix the AOD mixed in AOD water with anything else
44:55Speaker 3because that acetic acid water like really will mess up most other peptides.
45:01Speaker 3You don't want it touching anything else. Dude,
45:05Speaker 2you are up. My
45:08Speaker 2brother is on Reta and not
45:10Speaker 2losing weight.
45:11Speaker 2Mind you, he is a busy father, husband, and worker, so he doesn't schedule time for the gym and eats on the go. He's just
45:19Speaker 2finished a cycle of MOTS-3.1,
45:24Speaker 210 units,
45:26Speaker 25 on, 2 off, Reta, 3 megs, 1
45:30Speaker 2time per week. AOD,
45:32Speaker 215 units, 3 times per week. Before this protocol, he was on tirzepatide,
45:37Speaker 215 mgs per week. There you go. That's why he's losing weight.
45:41Speaker 2Recommended by his doctor, 15 days ago, the doctor had
45:45Speaker 2lost weight.
45:46Speaker 2No shit,
45:47Speaker 2but he's not losing weight now. He's not going to commit to the gym,
45:51Speaker 2but he wants to lose weight.
45:53Speaker 2Should we switch him back to his rizepatide
45:56Speaker 2or up his Reta?
45:59Speaker 3I see a whole bunch of problems. Yeah. I,
46:03Speaker 2I would just, I just want to like it be done right now because he's not gonna be able to work out. Come on bro. Like here, I'm going to be blunt with you because it's just, I think that it's deserved
46:12Speaker 2right here. We're all busy fathers. I can guarantee it doesn't work as much as me and this dude, but we still make time for the gym and we still make time to better our lives. And here's my stance on it. Our our children are products of the product.
46:25Speaker 2So if you are not eating right and if you're not
46:29Speaker 0doing these things Sierra has all the best active and outdoor brands you need. From athletic stuff, like a full court pickup game,
46:37Speaker 0swish,
46:38Speaker 0to athletic stuff, like 0.5 mile stroll. Get those steps in.
46:43Speaker 0And for morning hikes up the mountain trail, good pace to nighttime ghost stories from the camping chair. What
46:49Speaker 0a twist.
46:50Speaker 0Whatever level of active, Sierra loves it all. Head to Sierra or sierra.com for the brands you want at the prices that let you do it all. From athletic to athletic, Sierra's got it. Propel fitness water with Gatorade electrolytes,
47:03Speaker 10 sugar, and vitamins. Propel hydrates better than water to help you get the most out of your workout and get back to your best self. What propels you? Propel with Gatorade Electrolytes.
47:15Speaker 2Either your kids are gonna become that. So if you're not gonna lift weights and you're not gonna better your life because you're busy, your kids are gonna be like that in my opinion. They're worth as products of the products, man, and that's, I scream it from the rooftops that, you
47:29Speaker 2know, it's time for men to get back to the basics.
47:32Speaker 2I'll give you a perfect example because I'm not perfect. So my wife today asked me if I would take my son to school. And I said, I have to go prepare for a podcast and there's just no way, babe.
47:41Speaker 2And Alcoholics Anonymous has taught me a lot. 1 of the best lessons is I'm not responsible for my 1st thought, but I am responsible for my 2nd thought. Now I go outside and do some breathing techniques and some grounding. And as I did that, I ended in a prayer and I caught up to myself, which my 2nd thought was,
47:57Speaker 2Take your kid to school. So I told her I'd take him to school. Not only that, I didn't rush. I took him to get a donut and I sat with him and I talked with him about life. I talked with him about his birthday weekend coming up because we're taking him to Legoland this weekend
48:11Speaker 2and
48:12Speaker 2God smacked me in the face for almost missing that. You know? Like
48:16Speaker 2I say that because we're all freaking busy dude. Like,
48:20Speaker 2get your butt in the gym and you're going to lose some weight.
48:24Speaker 2We don't, you don't get anything
48:26Speaker 2worth it is not free. You don't just get to take an injection
48:29Speaker 2and that's life. You need to, we're not going to take injections for the rest of your life. The objective is to fix your
48:37Speaker 2life,
48:38Speaker 2build the base of the you,
48:41Speaker 2build the base, diet, exercise, hormone,
48:44Speaker 2hormone optimization,
48:46Speaker 2and then these things are on top are going to work. If you're just trying to build the 3rd floor without the base, you're going to have the same problem. It doesn't matter, dude. So I'm going to challenge you to
48:57Speaker 2me being a father myself to
49:00Speaker 2become a better man, become a better father and slow the hell down
49:04Speaker 2and get your ass in the gym and this stuff will work better. Sorry, I'm so blunt, but it's just my style, which got well. Yeah. I 2nd everything that he just said, like
49:15Speaker 3eating,
49:16Speaker 3eating on the go and the cal not
49:20Speaker 3a calorie deficit, like none of these peptides are going to overcome
49:23Speaker 3are going to overcome that and not exercising.
49:26Speaker 3Now
49:27Speaker 3also like 1 giant thing, so 15 mg of Retatrutide, I mean, just so that's like That's the most you can do. Maxed out dose.
49:35Speaker 3Okay?
49:38Speaker 3No wonder you lost I hope you've already lost a whole ton of weight on that. Right?
49:44Speaker 3Then now we're going to 3 mg of Retta, which is right above the starting dose. Yeah. Right? Like, what makes us think that that would actually do anything
49:53Speaker 3Yeah. Compared to this? So, of course, it stopped. Also,
49:57Speaker 3this a lot of the weight you'd lost. Right? You've also, like, again, we talked about this, killed our natural drive to want to eat because tirzepatide
50:04Speaker 3really
50:05Speaker 3brings down your appetite.
50:08Speaker 3Okay? So your body is trying to fight back against that so hard the whole time. And now that you've stopped it, it gets unleashed.
50:17Speaker 3And now we're barely taking any Retta. So no doubt probably experienced a whole lot of appetite come back and even stronger than it ever was before at the beginning.
50:26Speaker 3But the red, I'm sorry. Like you're going to have to increase the red on a whole lot
50:31Speaker 3if you want. But, but also I
50:34Speaker 3want to default back to JD's answer is it's not really just all about just pumping the drugs and up and upping doses and upping doses. Right? Like light, so a whole lot of lifestyle needs to change,
50:46Speaker 3but
50:47Speaker 3don't switch back to Tirzepatide.
50:49Speaker 3Try and tough it out. Like, cool, man. In in good. Okay. In the interim, let's increase the increase the Retta
50:55Speaker 3slowly.
50:56Speaker 3Don't just go to 10 Migs, please. Like, increase it slowly
51:01Speaker 3and then work on getting it done, decreasing it and fixing lifestyle. Right?
51:07Speaker 3Yeah. And then everything else
51:09Speaker 1he said again, you want to lose weight?
51:12Speaker 2You gotta prove it. You wanna get literally, like, seriously, like, dude, I will have to, if I had to, I'd wake up at 2 to go to the damn gym. I just would get it in. Now I'm programmed myself to be that. Wasn't overnight, but you gotta start,
51:27Speaker 2you got to start retraining your brain, dude. Like you're a bad ass, you're a warrior. It's inside of your soul,
51:33Speaker 2That's where warrior makers came from. Tap into that shit,
51:36Speaker 2tap into it and
51:38Speaker 2start setting the example for your kids. They're not overweight.
51:42Speaker 2Say that with love, hope yourselves.
51:44Speaker 3Who's up? 3 Me, I think.
51:47Speaker 3Yeah,
51:48Speaker 3I think so. Okay. What's up guys. I've been following you since January. I love the insight and content about peptides and wellness. I'm a firefighter in Texas or in treatment, Texas, man, and was involved in a bad accident in 2025. I have burns to my hands, which required partial amputations to fingertips
52:04Speaker 3and 2nd degree burns around my body. Damn. So a body got me in, a buddy got me into peptides, which have been amazing and helped me immensely with recovery.
52:13Speaker 3Luckily I am back at work and able to be 90% of what I was and so I'm about it, man. Thank God they let you back in to do that. So good for you. Then I recommended to wellness. I recommitted
52:26Speaker 3to wellness and dialing in my diet. I was 2 80 pounds when I started and now 2 20. I currently take TRT, BPC, KPV,
52:35Speaker 3TB, and of course the amazing Reta 3 Migs and cycling in and out other fat burners.
52:40Speaker 3Any other suggestions and other protocols for recovery 1 and just keeping up the good fight
52:45Speaker 2on growing old, but staying optimized? Thanks again. Keep out the rad work. You guys are awesome. Love it. That's rad dude. Yeah. I mean, I'll speak for probably Will and I, if you, however you follow us on our channels, like we would love if you could shoot me a DM and tell me that you're this guy will help you out a little bit because 1st
53:03Speaker 2off you lost weight just you've been through that. We are huge, huge supporters of police.
53:07Speaker 2Army are just veterans,
53:10Speaker 2firemen.
53:11Speaker 2So shoot me a DM please, if you don't mind. And, we'd like to help you out with some stuff.
53:15Speaker 2In regards to what you should take, I think you're running it right. Are you T are you on TRT? What is your age, my brother? I do not know. So that plays a big role in how you answer this.
53:26Speaker 2Obviously keep that resistance training up depending on age,
53:30Speaker 2HGH or secretagogue
53:32Speaker 2for sure.
53:33Speaker 2Absolutely.
53:34Speaker 2That's going to help with you and your injuries a lot. Would say jump and go to HGH dude because of that.
53:41Speaker 2The granddaddy baby, TRT, are you hormonally optimized? He does say that. He is. Yeah. I currently TRT. Okay, cool. I missed that. I'm sorry. So cool. So you are, so, NAD SS-31I
53:53Speaker 2would throw in there and HGH
53:56Speaker 2for sure. And, again, hit us up wherever you find our channels, let us know it's you, wounded fireman, and we'd like to give you something.
54:03Speaker 2Agreed.
54:04Speaker 3SS-31MOTS-1C,
54:06Speaker 3and NAD,
54:07Speaker 3all of those, I would add them in. SS-31first
54:10Speaker 3to shore up the mitochondria and then MOTS-1C after and longer.
54:15Speaker 3And then at a 100% did for recovery,
54:17Speaker 3everything,
54:19Speaker 3HGH or an HGH secretagogue, Tesamorelin, Ipamorelin. Will help burn fat. It'll help keep muscle on you. It'll help add more muscle and help everything
54:27Speaker 3just grow better.
54:29Speaker 3And yeah, dude,
54:31Speaker 3we absolutely
54:32Speaker 3are big supporters in
54:35Speaker 3public servants. And
54:37Speaker 3yes, you made the almost the ultimate sacrifice, right?
54:41Speaker 3Actually getting injured in line of duty and pretty severely.
54:44Speaker 290 percent.
54:46Speaker 2You lost a ton of weight, dude. Good on you. Standing. Thank you. And
54:50Speaker 3good, good for you, dude.
54:52Speaker 2I'll take us home. All
54:54Speaker 3right.
54:55Speaker 2Have you heard of any, have you heard of anyone with Barrett's syndrome taking BPC-157
55:01Speaker 2or CLO for possible healing? My doc has me on
55:06Speaker 2omeprazole
55:07Speaker 2for my condition. I don't really want to take that the rest of my life. I'm doing GLO lately and CLO on the way. Doing every other day with BPC on the other days. Thanks for your input. I listened to every episode. All right.
55:20Speaker 2So I'll take you live Gurdy.
55:22Speaker 2You probably hear me like
55:24Speaker 2constantly.
55:25Speaker 2It sucks. I've dealt with it for a lot for a long time. I've gone to a couple of different GI doctors and it's horrible. What has worked for me,
55:34Speaker 2at times it's not completely healed. It's in my opinion, coming from my gut.
55:40Speaker 2So I'm working on that.
55:42Speaker 2A Doctor. Scott, which I didn't put this together, but thinks it's the gut is actually now kind of causing this constant.
55:49Speaker 2Another doctor actually came in and actually agreed with us, so that made me feel better. But what has worked with me is carbs
55:56Speaker 2suck.
55:57Speaker 2Every night, if I eat carbs, I will be literally burping up food. I know it's disgusting, but that is what GERD is. It sucks. It sucks. It sucks. I eat ice cream. I kind of burp up ice cream and have to spit it, spit it out. It sucks to hear. I know it's gross. My wife calls it a spit cup, but it sucks. So I feel for you is my point. It literally sucks.
56:16Speaker 2Thymosin Alpha,
56:18Speaker 2for 3 weeks, the LL-thirty 7, I think,
56:21Speaker 2with a 100,
56:22Speaker 2100 micrograms
56:24Speaker 2for 50 days, and then the VIP for 10 days. If we do not have that protocol up on the website, we'll put it up.
56:31Speaker 2That can help, but
56:33Speaker 2we don't want to overload Doctor. Scott, but Call Doctor. Scott.
56:37Speaker 2Because
56:38Speaker 2he's the person that we trust. He'll run a, he'll run a, blood panel and he'll probably for you need to run a stool test.
56:46Speaker 2And, he's going to have to reboot your gut, which, you know, so little tricks of my trade. I'm trying to see if my wife sent me the prescription that my doctor put me on. Helped a little bit, but she didn't.
56:59Speaker 2But no, we don't want to take medication forever, especially pharmaceuticals
57:02Speaker 2man, but, it's also hell. So I feel, feel you on that. So cut down or at least lower your carbs really has helped for me if I eat like chips and stuff. Gosh, I'm paying for it all night. It's horrible. Some of the reason I've done carnivore.
57:17Speaker 2So yeah, that's kind of what I got. I think that you're killing it in regards to some of the stuff you're taking, but I don't think this is going to heal you. You got to heal the gut and really reboot it.
57:27Speaker 2And I don't think you're going to get that from a GI doctor
57:29Speaker 2unless he's
57:32Speaker 2not super Western medicine, GI doctor. He's going to give you those pills forever and maybe eventually a surgery.
57:40Speaker 3So I hope that helps. Yeah. I think GHK-3s): He's better expert on this 1, but like BPC,
57:45Speaker 3KPV,
57:46Speaker 3Oral BPC.
57:48Speaker 2Regular
57:48Speaker 3and,
57:50Speaker 3and give all the KPV you can take
57:54Speaker 3is what will, I don't know, do its best to help this. Although this Barrett's,
57:58Speaker 3the Barrett's disease disorder syndrome
58:02Speaker 3is a bit more complex than just,
58:05Speaker 3like,
58:06Speaker 3to the stomach lining and acid reflux. Yeah. So, but
58:11Speaker 3a BPC
58:12Speaker 3KPV
58:13Speaker 3immediately is worth a actual
58:16Speaker 3chance. So just, I would absolutely try it, see what it could help a lot, but maybe not completely fix the issue, but we don't really know. And then I would actually, yeah,
58:27Speaker 2I worked to go find a doctor and do everything else. JD just Yeah, it sucks, man. I feel free to it. It sucks. It's horrible. But for whatever reason, here we are.
58:36Speaker 2Take the time to try to heal that gut as I am, and I'll keep you posted because you know, I post everything about every channel I have, how I'm feeling on everything. So I'm very blunt. If it sucks, it sucks. If I'm being fixed,
58:48Speaker 2I can't call Doctor. Scott
58:50Speaker 2start from there. Trust him. We're working on a couple other doctors actually that,
58:55Speaker 2are kind of similar in regards to their approach to things. So we'll be kind of putting them on there too. So it's like Barrett's Barrett's syndrome, right? The root cause is
59:06Speaker 1it
59:07Speaker 3lowers esophageal
59:09Speaker 3sphincter dysfunction. So I guess we have a sphincter in our necks. Everybody
59:13Speaker 3just know that. Fixed lower esophageal sphincter dysfunction,
59:18Speaker 3and and
59:20Speaker 3your gastric motility issues, which we know that
59:23Speaker 3BPC has evidence actually for both of those to affect both of them, but the gastric motility, for sure, basically move things moving through your GI tract. Right?
59:33Speaker 3But the lower esophageal
59:35Speaker 3sphincter dysfunction is tough
59:38Speaker 3because that's kind of what opens and closes down here. Yeah.
59:42Speaker 3Mean, I don't really have an answer there for you.
59:45Speaker 1What I said before is I would try it. Yeah.
59:49Speaker 2So yeah, we that's what we got guys and questions
59:52Speaker 2are great. Wow. These are probably the best set of questions I think so far, not to knock the other questions. They just really, again, give us your age, weight,
1:00:00Speaker 2man or woman. That's going to be like just necessities and objectives. If we don't have your objectives, like what should I take? I don't know.
1:00:08Speaker 2We don't know anything about you, but that will help us answer these, but a great questions guys. We're gonna have,
1:00:14Speaker 2if any financial
1:00:15Speaker 2people out in the stands, we're gonna have Joe Brown, who is a good friend of mine. He's actually been somewhat of a good friend, but a mentor. He really helped me when I 1st started my
1:00:26Speaker 2Instagram channel, he was a big part of that. So I'm going to have him on my personal podcast and then Will and I are going to sit with him on peptide podcast because he is a very big peptide kit and, he used to be overweight
1:00:37Speaker 2and, I met him when he was, and, now he is ripped.
1:00:41Speaker 2And so we're gonna dig into some of his, protocols. Brilliant. Guys, insanely off the charts, intelligent.
1:00:47Speaker 2So he'll be on the podcast this week. That 1 will drop on Monday, but,
1:00:52Speaker 2any Joe Brandt fans, you will love this 1. It'll be, it'll be cool. He's a good guy. Yeah.
1:00:56Speaker 2Cool. Cool. Join school. Look at those. If you want the, in-depth protocols,
1:01:02Speaker 2there'll be on, I think the 1st 1 premium, and then we have some other stuff,
1:01:06Speaker 2like even like steroid stacks and stuff like that. We're not saying you should, we're just saying that we people are going to do it because we had questions. We have put some of that stuff together on the VIP.
1:01:16Speaker 2Because that's where some of those questions are. So you need to add the VIP. It's not about money. It's about the time that it takes to do all this stuff. We're extremely busy, especially this guy that's all this stuff makes it look good.
1:01:27Speaker 2But that's what it is. Other than that, we're not doing the meetup on the 27th,
1:01:32Speaker 2but we do have 1 brewing. We do not want to do anything 0.5 last year and we were, you know, we've just, we've been busy. We're So going to spend the time to put a really good 1 so people can come and meet the team and we want to meet you more importantly.
1:01:46Speaker 2So we will be working on that, but we do have something brewing around the 27th, which we will drop around the 27th.
1:01:52Speaker 1So other than that, we'll catch you next round. We appreciate you. Good night.
