0:50Speaker 2Welcome back to the Peptide of the Week Podcast. I'm your host JD Denham and sitting next to me, you probably don't recognize him, but it is my buddy, my pal, Mr. William T Haas looking a little bit different. You want to tell everybody a little bit why we are late to the party? What happened? Tell, tell, tell the fans what happened.
1:10Speaker 3Decided to shave my head. No, I had some,
1:13Speaker 3and again,
1:15Speaker 3maybe some people don't wanna tell
1:17Speaker 3this to 2 other people, but whatever.
1:20Speaker 3F it. Yes, I got like a hair trail fight. They
1:24Speaker 3did like 3,500
1:27Speaker 3grafts, which basically means
1:29Speaker 3they cut, this is like 9 hours.
1:32Speaker 3They cut 3,500
1:34Speaker 3tiny little holes right here.
1:36Speaker 3Like, it's like, it's like,
1:38Speaker 3cutting it, like replanting a tree, right? You dig a hole for the tree,
1:41Speaker 3then you take your existing tree, dig the roots up,
1:45Speaker 3put it in the hole. So they had to cut 3,500 individual little holes right here,
1:49Speaker 3then go into the backside where the hair is strong and cut out 3,500
1:54Speaker 3individual pores with a hair follicle growing out, put them in a little dish and then go back and
2:01Speaker 3stick replant every single 1 of those in the 3,500 holes. Oh, sounds brutal.
2:07Speaker 2He was under the knife for a long time. She even called it on a knife who called because it's like an easy way to say it, but you were gone for, you didn't answer your phone for all day. I left you alone all day. And then I finally, towards the end the day, was like, is he okay? And then your girlfriend called my wife. So check on Will. He had a long day. Yeah, good. Cause I was not in a position to respond. Yeah. It was a long day. It was like 8AM till I think got to my hotel at 9PM. Brutal. And I didn't San Diego. I didn't go to Turkey. A lot of people did. Luckily I know a doctor and he
2:37Speaker 3hooked me up and did a good job, but it's, it's a labor intensive process. Right? This was dumb.
2:42Speaker 3It hurt like the 1st 6 hours were cool. I was numb. The last 3,
2:47Speaker 3no, I felt it all. And that's so, but I don't know. I have a,
2:52Speaker 3I have a problem. I think that it's a tube, so like I'm a big dude. I have a fast metabolism. My body just metabolizes stuff and gets rid of it. And lidocaine also words like a bad drug addict for 10 years. So I build real fast tolerances to things. So after about 6 hours, the lidocaine just said, no, we're done. We're not working anymore. And they injected
3:14Speaker 3more and more and more and more and more. And it didn't do a damn thing. So, oh, I was just meditation time. Literally. I was like, okay, everything hurts. And they're like, well, we just keep it. We'll keep injecting it. I said, well, how many more do we have to do? And I remember they go about 1,500 and I'm saying, wow.
3:32Speaker 3Let me just get into the zone. I just closed my mind. I closed my eyes, meditated
3:37Speaker 3and just dealt with it all. But
3:40Speaker 3it hurt. Yeah. It hurt. I was swollen. I mean, I thought I'd be back to work Friday. Then you've had things even thinking you might work the next day. So, so, you know,
3:48Speaker 2everybody, we got a lot of DMS wondering where the podcast was this morning and, thank you for noticing that that makes us feel good just in itself.
3:56Speaker 2But we wanted to let the big guy have some time to heal because he was a little bit more wounded than even he thought. He needed some time. We, I was going to call him and say, Hey, should like we, we drop an old 1. Should I just do a quick 1 real quick? But yeah, we're partners, man. Like we're not doing that. We're just going to put it out a day late,
4:13Speaker 3let the dude heal. And, here we go, man. It is what it is. Yeah. It said, I don't know, bro. I don't think I can 1st it just hurt to talk too much. And I looked like quasi modo yesterday, right? The, with like 1 eye was
4:28Speaker 3I was extra swollen. Cause I happened to lay down, like roll over in the middle of the night and gravity did its thing with the swelling.
4:36Speaker 2But I
4:39Speaker 3know, you know what, I'm gonna spend all that money at time.
4:43Speaker 3And then you know what? I think I'm sort of going with a shaved head from now on.
4:46Speaker 2I was so I've told this story. So my old neighbor, he had it done and, it's also bad even saying this, hoping his listen to the show, but it didn't work too well. Like you remember telling me how much he spent on it. I was like, Woah, bro. And, I was like thinking to myself, I didn't say this to him of course, but I said,
5:03Speaker 2that was a lot of money for it. Not looking that good.
5:07Speaker 2So anyways, each his own, he looks good. He'll be having a full head of hair shortly.
5:13Speaker 2He's been thinking about it a long time. Finally jumped. Yeah. Good stuff. And I mean, yes.
5:17Speaker 3And if anybody cares,
5:19Speaker 3I guess in a, in a month or so, if you feel like looking at me and you think it looks good, I'll tell you the doctor that did it. San Diego. San Diego. Yeah. Give you a, give him a shout out. And give him a, give him a shout out and,
5:32Speaker 3yeah, do that, man.
5:37Speaker 3Yeah, whatever. I'm happy to do it. It was painful and we'll see how it goes back. Hey man, is, you know, I think that I'm,
5:45Speaker 3I'm not really, I started just getting a little bit like sin, maybe 2 years ago and I'm 40 now.
5:51Speaker 3My dad texted me. I said, Hey dad, look what I did. And he goes, well,
5:55Speaker 3why were you bald? I said, 1st of all, I wasn't bald. Okay. I
6:01Speaker 3was just thinning a little bit and And it's not your fault. My dad's still, my dad's like 75 with like a full head. He still has like a big mullet too.
6:09Speaker 3And, and the genetics apparently comes from your mother's father. Right. And my grandpa was bald. So I said, you know, it's, it's genetics, but also me using testosterone
6:19Speaker 3and like the conversion of DHT
6:22Speaker 3doesn't help.
6:24Speaker 3It also doesn't help when
6:26Speaker 3I was, I mean, I, I never really did a whole bunch of testosterone, but I've been doing it for a while.
6:31Speaker 3But I've never taken deuteride finasteride
6:35Speaker 3because I don't really like the side effects. But I did learn from them though, at the clinic. Everybody always thought that, well, in original clinical trials that,
6:43Speaker 3do test derived, those are both DHT
6:46Speaker 3blockers. Okay. So when you do testosterone,
6:49Speaker 3it converts into estrogen and DHT, dihydrotestosterone.
6:53Speaker 3DHT
6:55Speaker 3is what makes your pores close-up. Okay. It's basically just report. It makes those close-up. And also,
7:01Speaker 3that's what affects your prostate.
7:04Speaker 3Yeah. So anybody's taking a lot of testosterone and then they realize they can't empty their bladder fully. They're peeing. They gotta pee real bad. Then you pee and like very little bit comes out and you, what the hell?
7:14Speaker 3Your prostate is swollen. Your DHT is too high. That's why. But
7:18Speaker 3do test or ride is way less significant. So the problem with these DHT lockers is they affect a man's sex drive. So they can, I've taken them before for like a week and just had, I take Finasteride before. I was like, oh, screw that. Like you don't even, you don't, you don't care 1 little bit. So I've never taken it, but the docs told me that the Dutasteride
7:38Speaker 3is the better 1 to take. Yeah.
7:41Speaker 3Now that'll just help if
7:43Speaker 3your problem is DHT, right?
7:45Speaker 3And it's not gonna help grow any air back. Right. But it is gonna help reduce the losing of hair if DHT is what's causing
7:53Speaker 3So do testosterone. I'll probably be a little bit more responsible.
7:58Speaker 3Thinking that it wasn't that bad, but you know, whatever.
8:01Speaker 3Here you are, man. You look good. I was telling him he should keep his head sharp, man. You look good. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. I'd shave my head for years and years and years, man. Well, nice. Think it also looks a little bit better now because I'm still a bit swollen in my face.
8:14Speaker 3You look better with a shape Ed who have a rounder face. So
8:18Speaker 3when the swelling goes down, my face is not as round.
8:22Speaker 2We'll see how well, how good it looks. Yeah. Well
8:26Speaker 2also we want to let you guys know, look at this little snazzy carrying case. See that little warrior maker right there. This we've been waiting for these for a long time. This is a traveling
8:39Speaker 2peptide case,
8:41Speaker 2warrior maker style
8:43Speaker 2for you people like us that like to travel quite a bit.
8:46Speaker 2Oh, we've been waiting on these forever. It's got a
8:50Speaker 2gauge tells you temperature.
8:51Speaker 2It's got some cold packs. So anybody that likes to travel like us and bring their supplements with them, there you go. Warrior makers now has officially
9:02Speaker 3own traveling case. So pretty darn cool. It's on the website. Yeah, we'll get it up there. It's a really quickly.
9:07Speaker 3Is insulated. So like you theoretically could mix your peptides already and then travel with them. Right? We've told everybody in the past, Hey, just bring them unmixed and then mix them there. If, especially the other ones that need to stay cold. Well, hell, you don't need to do that if you don't want to. That's it's big. It'll carry a bunch of things. And those are literally like FAA approved.
9:27Speaker 4So,
9:29Speaker 3you shouldn't have any problems with it
9:33Speaker 3unless you're hiding a kilo of cocaine or something in there. But,
9:37Speaker 3the case itself, there is absolutely no problem. The FAA knows about them and,
9:42Speaker 3yeah, they're approved and you may have seen them around, but yeah, it's cool. You can fit, you fit a decent amount of stuff in there. We've had some other ones,
9:51Speaker 3not as hard stuff on them, but like you could barely fit anything in there. So you can put all supplements,
9:57Speaker 2I don't know, vitamins, anything you need in there. Travel a lot. So they're perfect for us too. So, but today we wanted to really quickly, we've done it probably multiple times, but you know, we read every DM and we listen to what people want. So we're gonna dig back into
10:13Speaker 2Retatrutide.
10:13Speaker 2Would you like to say it how you like to say it? Retatrutide.
10:17Speaker 2Done. That's it. Dug into that about really, what is the proper way to say it? And, we actually heard, actually heard that that is the actual proper way say it. Of all, Retrutide is I'm going stick. Everybody made fun of me Cause I said Retatrutide.
10:30Speaker 3That sounds the most, that sounds the most reasonable.
10:33Speaker 3Everybody, people were DMing in like, Bill, that didn't say it Say it right. Well, the creator of Retatrutide
10:40Speaker 3came out, had an interview and she goes, guys,
10:43Speaker 3this is how you exactly say it. It's re TAC true time.
10:47Speaker 2Figure it I send it to Will. Now
10:49Speaker 2he's throwing it on her face. Yeah. So I'm gonna still have it at your side. So however you say it, read a true tide, read a Retatrutide
10:57Speaker 2GLP-three,
10:58Speaker 2doesn't matter how you say it. We're going to dig into that because
11:02Speaker 2there's a lot of new listeners. There's a lot of new people digging into these things. And so we'll get kind of to the jugular of what
11:09Speaker 2it is, why so many people love it and why it's growing in popularity at rocket
11:15Speaker 2rates, man. So tell us a little bit about Retrutide
11:20Speaker 2and what it is, who should take it. Okay.
11:24Speaker 3We will, I won't, I won't go too in-depth folks, but
11:28Speaker 3basically
11:29Speaker 3it's a triple agonist.
11:31Speaker 3So it works on your GLP-one
11:34Speaker 3receptor, GIP receptor, and your GCG
11:37Speaker 3or glucagon.
11:39Speaker 3Like, I
11:41Speaker 3forget the full GCG.
11:43Speaker 3Okay. Sometimes
11:45Speaker 3brain doesn't work. So those 3, so G semaglutide
11:50Speaker 3just worked on your GLP-one.
11:52Speaker 3Okay.
11:53Speaker 3So appetite suppressors. So yes. So GLP-one is your, is for appetite suppression
11:59Speaker 3and,
12:00Speaker 3Oh, and some like a little bit of blood sugar in
12:04Speaker 3glucose control.
12:05Speaker 3All right. So appetite suppression, but basically it just makes your stomach digest things really slow. Right. Okay. So you feel full longer because you are fuller longer.
12:16Speaker 3The side effect on that is massive nausea and GI tract,
12:20Speaker 3upsetting. You don't
12:22Speaker 3need anything.
12:23Speaker 3GIP is what? So GLP plus GIP is tirzepatide. Right? GIP
12:30Speaker 3as added in there helps a lot with the nausea. So it cuts down a lot of the nausea. So, and you still get all the GLP-one
12:39Speaker 3effects,
12:40Speaker 3but you also get,
12:43Speaker 3nutrient
12:44Speaker 2partitioner where you're going to take your, it's going to take your energy or your food, and it's going to put them in the right places. So if you're trying to gain weight or trying to gain muscle, it's going to put them into the muscle,
12:54Speaker 3right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So yes. And then your insulin sensitivity,
12:57Speaker 3so it will increase your insulin sensitivity and increasing an insulin sensitivity is an, is a good thing folks, right? Like, so you don't need as much insulin to counteract,
13:07Speaker 3sugar.
13:09Speaker 3You want that nutrition, nutrient partitioning. So it is gonna have protein
13:14Speaker 3go to your muscles. This is why you will see people who are on
13:17Speaker 3some of the lutein. They may have lost a lot of weight, but they lost fat and muscle equally. And let's say, not
13:24Speaker 3look very good because muscle gives you shape with tirzepatide.
13:28Speaker 3You, it will protect your muscle because it's gonna take your protein and put it into your muscles and not allow you to burn those muscle off. The problem is people took too much.
13:38Speaker 3You still need nutrients for them to be partitioned.
13:41Speaker 3Yeah. If you take a lot of Tirzepatide, you just don't eat any food. Well, you don't have protein to be partitioned and you can still lose all your muscle. All right. The beauty of Reta is that, so
13:55Speaker 3it then, so I guess Reta and the 3rd part is your, your GCG.
13:58Speaker 3It acts on that. And it basically
14:02Speaker 3boosts your metabolic rate. Right? It just tells your body, Hey, let's burn some more calories at rest. And it tells your,
14:10Speaker 3fat cells to
14:13Speaker 3burn off just to, yeah, create ketones and just, and burn off a whole bunch more fat off them. And it tells your pancreas to
14:21Speaker 3create less
14:24Speaker 3sugar.
14:24Speaker 3Well, the correct amount of sugar needed.
14:27Speaker 3Right. And I guess this will, I guess lead us into something else, but- Burns the hell out that visceral fat. Burns of burns a ton of really does, man. It tells your body, yeah, you don't need as much
14:37Speaker 3glucose.
14:38Speaker 3And even if you don't have any glucose in your body, right, it will create glucose, but only the right, a little bit amount, the amount of blood sugar that we're, we can, that we need to keep our muscles active and our brain working,
14:52Speaker 3which is why Reta, I mean, honestly, 1 of the main things that I love about it is how it affects my brain. If haven't eaten in 5 hours, normally I'd get hangry and dumb
15:04Speaker 3and slow and angry a bit. If I'm on Reta, even a low dose like that, my brain does not get affected by it. Why? Because my
15:13Speaker 3body goes, oh, Hey, we're a little bit slow, low in blood sugar right here. It will take my amino acids if I don't have any carbs on board and it will convert them to just the right amount of sugar, shove it up to my brain and keep that brain lively
15:24Speaker 3and keep it rolling.
15:26Speaker 2That was the biggest thing. And I was surprised the boss was that energy and that focus was just, I wasn't expecting that when I started taking right at your 10. Yeah. And just that focus is off
15:34Speaker 3the charts. Yeah. So
15:36Speaker 3I don't know. You know, the more you you learn and read about this stuff, it's a it's a miracle.
15:43Speaker 0This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Listening to this podcast instead of doom scrolling? Smart move. Another smart move? Getting help from 1 of State Farm's 19,000

16:08Speaker 1Propel fitness water with Gatorade electrolytes,
16:11Speaker 10 sugar, and vitamins. Propel hydrates better than water to help you get the most out of your workout and get back to your best self. What propels you? Propel with Gatorade Electrolytes.
16:23Speaker 3Drug. Like it's off the charts. They got it right. They did a lot of good things at this thing. Right. And really,
16:29Speaker 3and it is really complex and it's, but damn it works.
16:33Speaker 3And
16:34Speaker 2it's the closest thing we have to a magic pill. It is definitely. And we talk about it all the time, but anybody that's new, which is seems to be a lot of people, because we have a lot of questions,
16:43Speaker 2kind of beginner questions. And that's why we're doing this again. But I mean, it's a damn scientific breakthrough. This is the best way to say it. Tirzepatide worked well too. It was great. There's still a lot people that are doing Tirzepatide,
16:54Speaker 2you're talking about, you know, the Rolls Royce of GLP-1s.
16:58Speaker 2It's just there are 2 types of burns out fat
17:01Speaker 2like freaking butter, dude. It just, it really does. So that's why.
17:06Speaker 2If you say who's it for, it really can be for everybody. Why? Because it just depends on what your objectives are. You have gym rats
17:13Speaker 2all overtaking it. You know, you and I take it, we're pretty, pretty good shape. You have people that are trying to lose weight.
17:19Speaker 2You have people that are even in a boat that are using it to be thick or thin skinned. It just really depends on what your objectives are and how what's milligram that you take, you take, you know, how much you take,
17:31Speaker 2on a weekly basis, you know? So if you're obviously trying to lose a lot of weight, like guys like us, I'm not trying to lose weight. So we just need a tiny little bit. But a tiny little bit of Retatrutide
17:40Speaker 2goes a long way. If you are already lean man, it will just burn the hell out of that belly fat. It will. It'll just burn the hell out that belly fat. So, and you keep eating. And I guess the good thing is yes, for those people, Hey, you want to build muscle? Like, cool. You can still take Reddit because you will still have an appetite.
17:55Speaker 3And I, what I left out was on the Reddit. Yeah, cool. It's that triple agonist, but guess what? It gives you way more GIP, which kills all of the nausea. Yep. Whereas Tirzepatide had some, right. And it would kill most of the nausea.
18:09Speaker 3Reta goodbye. There is no nausea. And that's what, that is what killed
18:14Speaker 3people's appetite.
18:15Speaker 3Right. Just to make it clear, the feeling fuller longer is, was the intended effect, the appetite reduction,
18:23Speaker 3which means just that like need for like, oh, I feel hungry. Yeah. You know, without eating food, that was not the intent of those drugs was not to do that. That's a side effect. Yeah.
18:33Speaker 3With Reta, there is no, so you like, cool. If I am hungry, I haven't eaten in a long time. Food sounds good.
18:40Speaker 3You know, my mouth, your mouth actually solidates, but then you eat food and it just forces portion control. Right? What have we been saying for years, like the best way to lose weight?
18:50Speaker 3And then there's some other special diets, but is to eat small
18:53Speaker 3frequent meals, right? That keeps your metabolism fast. That tells your body, Hey, body, trust me. Don't worry. I will be eating another meal in 2 to 3 hours. So then your body takes those nutrients. It burns off what it needs to. It keeps what it can, and it gets prepared for the next meal. Yeah. You do that consistently over time. A couple of weeks, your body is trained now to keep metabolism fast as opposed to somebody who, who thought in the past they wanna lose weight. And so I'm just gonna, you know, shit, I'll just eat less. Right? I'll eat 1 meal a day. Well, now you've told your body and our body's
19:24Speaker 3goal is to stay alive. Right? And it knows it needs food to stay alive. Right? So if you, in the past, if you just, oh, I'm just gonna, I'll just eat once and I'll try not to eat it again. Your body now goes, okay, it fed me.
19:37Speaker 3Then it didn't give me food for several, several hours.
19:41Speaker 3I don't want to starve to death and I don't like this. So when's it going to give me food next? I don't know. So next time that you do give me food, I'm going to keep everything
19:48Speaker 3on me, all that fat and everything. We're just going to keep it. We're going to store it for later.
19:53Speaker 3So I don't ever starve to death. And that's a very unhealthy way to live.
19:57Speaker 3That's not in a direct contradiction to fasting. The fasting needs to be done over
20:03Speaker 3a longer hour break than what a normal person just tries to not eat. Right? Because when you truly go in a fasted state, then a lot of cool stuff happens. Yeah. Which maybe you'll get into later.
20:15Speaker 3But yeah, so, so it forces that portion control
20:18Speaker 3takes away your appetite. So if you wanna build muscle, great, you'll have an appetite, dude. You can eat, you can eat, you can eat protein and build muscle. Great. If you need to lose 50 pounds, awesome. I'd probably say, Hey, take a little bit more. It's
20:31Speaker 2all based on dosage. You know, how, what's your objectives again, if you're trying to lose
20:36Speaker 250 pounds, you're going take different than a guy that's just trying to be lean. I've told the story numerous times, but if you haven't heard it, when, Will and I were, you know, just, we've been friends forever and we've always talked about supplements, blah, blah, blah. And he was bringing these GLP-1s up to me a lot. And I'm just like, dude, bro, like I'm disciplined. I don't need it. I don't want you to have anything to do with it. Very close minded until he and I started working together and doing some things that we do. I had to start reading about them and learning about them. And as I did, I was like, this sounds freaking rad dude. So not only reading about them, I want to try them and I want to see how I responded to them.
21:10Speaker 2I was freaking blown away after a week. Like for me, I'll just give my experience. I was ready. I'm on a high fat diet. I was ready, very lean.
21:18Speaker 2And I took a low dose, I think a mega and 0.5. So 0.5,
21:22Speaker 2you know, 0.5 a meg Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, which was super low dose. And it works. I was like, woah. I mean, I was like, if I, you see videos in that time, my skin was so thin. I was freaking absolutely
21:35Speaker 2chiseled.
21:36Speaker 2Every little last bit of fat was chiseled off me. It worked that fast for me,
21:42Speaker 3to the degree where I was like, man, I almost aborted because I was like, man, I'm gonna, I'm losing a little bit too And tell me how much you weigh your diet. Remember what your dosage was? Just so people get a frame. Yeah, I did a minging it, minging it. I think you started out with 1 mix 3 days a week. Yep. You did that for 2 weeks and then said, oh shit, I think I'm taking too much. Yeah. I'm,
22:01Speaker 3I'm not eating enough,
22:03Speaker 3but I think it was affecting your appetite a little bit. But you were like, dude, I'm getting too lean and maybe like losing some weight.
22:10Speaker 3I don't know guys as a reference there. That's that's
22:13Speaker 31 mg, 3 times a week. Well, you just don't, which is a low dose, which is a super low dose, right? The starting, that's 3 megs a week. The kind of clinical starting dose is 2.5
22:23Speaker 3mg a week. So you started at the very lowest dose and that was your effect. Yeah. Now that's
22:30Speaker 3cause you were on a keto diet. It was car, you know, it was a carnivore, so he was only eating like animal parts, but he's still in keto.
22:37Speaker 3If you are on keto and you take Retta, essentially like everything that Retta is doing is going to be amplified. Right. So it's gonna, it's gonna, it's gonna, you know, it's gonna kill your, kill your actual appetite a little bit more, but it's gonna make you feel fuller fat. I
22:52Speaker 2think that for my experience with this, it irons out quickly. I was a little nervous at 1st, because I was like not wanting.
22:58Speaker 2So for me, I do a lot of fasting. A lot of times only once a day, but a big, huge ass meal. And, I was leaving a lot of food on my plate and my wife was like, man, I've never not even seen you finish your plate. But so that's the beauty of Retta. You still get hungry.
23:12Speaker 2You just eat less.
23:14Speaker 2You know, so if you're somebody that,
23:16Speaker 2you're somebody that discipline and you're just trying to get lean and get, burn that belly fat like a little bit, you're, you're, you're going to kill it. It's going be easy for you. But if you're somebody that struggles with food and has problems with food, it's for you as well. You're going to change the dosage, but you're going to understand that it starts to change the way that you
23:34Speaker 2crave food. It starts to, I mean, I'll give you an example. Even for me, my weakness is diet Coke. My wife's family's always drinking diet Coke and I started drinking it.
23:44Speaker 2When I am on Retatrutide,
23:46Speaker 2I hate it. It's disgusts me. I can't even have a diet Coke because I'm like, Oh man, this tastes like shit. It's crazy. It starts to change your taste buds. You know me, like I used to, I think I went 5 years.
23:58Speaker 3Every day of the minimum amount of ice cream I ate was like a pint of ice cream every night.
24:03Speaker 3Luckily,
24:04Speaker 3again, I got a fast metabolism and I was working and I worked out constantly and I always have had a protein shake with my thing of ice cream. So,
24:11Speaker 3you know, a little sugar lip protein, I mean, honestly like helps it spice your insulin a bit, opens up cells, protein gets into your cells. And if you're working out constantly and you already have good, fast genetics,
24:23Speaker 3it was. But
24:25Speaker 3I will say yes. And I don't take Rinav very, like really consistently. And I'm not saying people do that, but,
24:33Speaker 3when I am taking it, yeah, dude, I don't care to eat ice cream. I've tried basically still out of habit though. I would be like, all right, let's get my ice cream. Let eat it like,
24:43Speaker 3but it's like,
24:45Speaker 3not, it does not do anything for me. Not
24:47Speaker 2doing it for me at all, which is a good thing. So, yeah. So help with people that, so who's it for? Pretty much everybody. What's your objective? That's is going to be contingent upon who is it for now? Somebody like my wife is teeny tiny, like 1,
25:01Speaker 2she doesn't want to take it, but 2, I wouldn't even let her take it. She's too tiny. She would wither away. So like, it's not for little tiny women.
25:07Speaker 2But if you're somebody that wants to burn visceral fat, if you're someone that wants is a gym rat and just literally wants to have that super
25:14Speaker 2thin skin, I'm telling you, man, it'll just do that in like a week and 0.5. It's that freaking good. It's burning the stacks on it. So
25:23Speaker 3I know we just kind of briefly talked about this and JD asked me, all right, well, what do you think about people burn fat? Okay. Now what do think about people for like weight loss? So let's talk about the foul 1. Someone that's lean,
25:34Speaker 2that's lean that just wants someone
25:37Speaker 2that's lean that's already in pretty good shape that their objective is just to be as lean. Like I'm someone that likes to be lean, big, but lean. I'd rather be lean and kind of more ripped than bulky.
25:48Speaker 2Or we're going to, we're going to throw in a 5 amino 1 MQ L
25:51Speaker 2Carnitine.
25:53Speaker 2What was another 1 that we were going to throw in? Oh, Tesamorelin,
25:56Speaker 2which is going to be also
25:57Speaker 2that 1 area of that, that belly fat, that's going to burn that visceral fat. If you take these Reta,
26:03Speaker 2Tesa, L Carnitine and 5 Amino-1MQ,
26:06Speaker 2and you're already in shape, dude, you will be freaking chiseled. You will be chiseled.
26:13Speaker 3Absolutely. I mean, I guess we didn't even think about that, but great. It's like Tesamorelin
26:17Speaker 3is really, Hey, it's
26:19Speaker 3a HGH,
26:21Speaker 3secret to dog. So it's telling your body to, Hey, let's produce, let's make more HGH. So that in its own right is a good thing. It will speed your metabolism to help you keep muscle,
26:30Speaker 3but yeah, it also will, will target
26:33Speaker 3belly fat, which is kind of unheard of in the supplement
26:37Speaker 3business.
26:38Speaker 3So that's a great add on, right? Brett is already looking at visceral fat and it's just gonna help, with that. 5 amino 1 MQ is,
26:48Speaker 3I don't it's the easiest way to break it. It's, it's a good adjunct kind of fat burner, but it's taking your fat. That's all that's stubborn. It doesn't, and it's, and it's full and essentially just breaking
26:58Speaker 3it down into tiny little bit of chunks.
27:00Speaker 3Then you do some exercise
27:02Speaker 3and it just gets fed and it burns off you a lot faster and easier. Yep. And, L carnitine
27:08Speaker 3is kind of a cheat way, although it doesn't do the exact same as being in keto, but it tells your body to prioritize,
27:16Speaker 3burning fat over
27:18Speaker 3sugar.
27:18Speaker 3Okay. So normally
27:20Speaker 3body likes to burn sugar 1st, right? That's our easiest, easiest resource for energy is sugar. So our body will always do that and it will hold fat and hold muscle on us till the last 2nd.
27:32Speaker 3Those are our survival mechanisms for when we're freezing and starving to death, but sugar is easy come eat it, burn it off for energy. Awesome. So,
27:40Speaker 3L Carnitine
27:41Speaker 3will bypass this
27:43Speaker 3and just burn off fat burning fat.
27:46Speaker 21
27:47Speaker 3easier answer is to not eat a bunch of sugar.
27:51Speaker 3Well, cause there's been some people
27:53Speaker 2that like, some people believe that you should not run like a high fat diet on,
27:57Speaker 2on Retrutide. And we definitely don't necessarily agree with that for the most part because it, body's gonna do. God knows what he's doing. Your body will burn sugar.
28:06Speaker 2Yep. You know, even if you're not eating, will burn sugar. It'll even create sugar
28:11Speaker 3in our bodies. Like our, that's what happens. The gluco
28:15Speaker 3neo genesis, right? Glucose
28:17Speaker 3is sugar.
28:19Speaker 3Genesis,
28:19Speaker 3right? The Bible is the beginning of things, right? It's the new creation.
28:26Speaker 3Neo, well, we're making some new sugar. So, but in the absence of sugar in our body needs a little bit of blood sugar,
28:32Speaker 3for our brain and muscles to function. And if you're on a 0 sugar diet,
28:37Speaker 3your body will split out of amino acids. It will create
28:41Speaker 3blood sugar. And with Reta, it will just, it'll create just the perfect amount and that little amount you need. So it won't over spike you.
28:49Speaker 2Yeah, it's pretty amazing. So with that said, what he just said, I explained that really well. If you are looking to lose a lot of weight, if you're someone that wants to lose 50 pounds plus,
28:59Speaker 2will
29:00Speaker 2suggest doing a high fat or a keto type diet because you're going to double burn it. It's gonna, you're going, it's going to work properly. So again, there's some people that disagree.
29:09Speaker 2It's okay. We can disagree, you know, but that's just our take. You know, your body, God knows what he's doing, man.
29:15Speaker 3Let me clarify when he says high fat, we're not talking about eat everything you're eating, but just a whole bunch more fat and drop the sugar, drop the carbs. So the point of that 1 though is you gotta cut the sugar out. Yeah. Carbs
29:27Speaker 3are sugar. Okay.
29:28Speaker 3Sugar is just a pre broke down carb, right? We eat carbohydrates,
29:32Speaker 3depending on where it is on the glycemic index, it breaks down into sugar into your body. And then the body can finally use that for energy. If your body doesn't use it for energy,
29:43Speaker 3that's what it does. It goes, all right, we're going to store on you as fat for later.
29:47Speaker 3Okay. And that sucks. That's how people get fat. So
29:52Speaker 3when it says that, yeah, we're talking ketogenic diet. You're talking about like a ketogenic diet and a ketogenic diet. Cool. Makes a full your body makes a fundamental change from how it works on how it uses energy. At 1st, it's regularly using for carbs and you, you'd go through this keto flu for a week or so, depending on how much carbs you have stored in your muscles.
30:12Speaker 3You feel worse day by day. Oh my goodness, my energy. Cause your body's going where's my energy sources carbs. I don't have any.
30:20Speaker 3Till it finally makes that decision. It goes, damn man. I'm fine.
30:25Speaker 3And it burns all your carbs out. It goes fine. You don't, and they're not going to give me carbs. I will just then use fat and your body starts stripping all the fat off and making ketones. And the ketone is this little energy bubble, prepackaged energy.
30:39Speaker 3The body throws away the fat and makes a bunch of these ketones for when you need them. And then it puts them in the fire. They burn. It gives you energy.
30:45Speaker 2Really focused energy.
30:47Speaker 3And that yes, helps your brain. You, the mental clarity. Oh yeah. Keto is huge. The problem is folks. It is no good for you. If you,
30:56Speaker 3if you try to go in and then come out constantly or never make it in, and you're just torturing yourself. Most people don't. Most people don't. Most people don't. It needs to be done the right way. And you can't, and it's not just a high protein diet. Yeah. Whatever your body is, how you see abundance of your body will start burning. So your body will start living off of your muscle. If you just eat protein,
31:15Speaker 2that's not what you want. We ought to keep your, so that means like, I don't know. I don't know what your percentage, what do you do? Like 60, 40 of- I mean, when I had, I was, I went on for the last few months, I went back onto a full like carb and did that like kind of carb reloading few months. I
31:29Speaker 2w I was surprised that actually went through the keto flu. I didn't think that because I've been on carnivore diet for like 5 years and I could go in and out of keto ketosis fairly easy because my body was used to it, but I definitely went through the, but so what I do is I just up the fat. I up the salt. I drink a ton of salt because salt is a mineral. So it's going to help with headaches and things like that. But I tell people, most people, cause I've coached a lot of people on the carnivore diet and where almost all go wrong is they don't eat enough fat. The fat is a fuel source. People think it's just protein. They just eat a bunch of protein and that's the carnivore same close. It's fat, high fat. You've got to eat a ton of fat, pull out the carbs
32:05Speaker 2and you, your body will eventually stop running on glucose and it will run on fat, which in my opinion is jet fuel, very focused.
32:13Speaker 2But it takes, even for me, it took almost about a week to get back into it. And that was longer than I was expecting.
32:19Speaker 2So, cause your body goes through a limbo stage. It has to flip back over to fat. So when you get about here, it doesn't know what to do. Cause where's the glucose? Like what? And you get really tired. You get big headaches
32:32Speaker 2as the keto flu because it hasn't fully flipped over to fat. So what do you do when you're here? Up the salt like crazy and up the fat, like triple your body will poop out what you don't need. It's lubricant, you know? So if you eat too much, you can't eat too much. We'll just dump it out. So I'm sorry.
32:49Speaker 3Also, why it's, I mean, people who have spent a lifetime living on carbs, right? Your body, we store a lot of that carbs in our muscles. Again, you will not get about fully into keto until all that stuff's burnt out of your muscles. Right? So the longer that you're not on keto and you try to go back, it's going be worse. But 1 secret
33:05Speaker 3is if you're in limbo, Hey, go workout for 5 hours a day, sit in the steam room, workout again, sit in the steam room. You'll burn all that shit out of you real fast and you'll get into keto really fast. Yep.
33:16Speaker 3Don't die on my way there, but the,
33:20Speaker 3so do you know, do you have in mind? I know that it's just such 2nd nature to you now, but when you're eating your fat and protein only, what
33:29Speaker 3is your
33:30Speaker 3approximate
33:31Speaker 3percentage?
33:32Speaker 3You got a 100% of the pie, right? Do you use 60
33:36Speaker 3of your, of your new fat
33:38Speaker 2and 40% from protein? I don't ever track macros. And a lot of people ask that. That's a very common question.
33:44Speaker 2How I studied it in the people that I've always loved is we keep it simple. Right? And this is going be gross, but I actually dropped a post on this. As you look at your dumps, right? Fat is lubricant. You want to overload on fat specifically in the, in the beginning. When you get up in the morning and you take a dump on, now this is gross. It should just go bloop and just dump right out. Why? That means your body's taking
34:05Speaker 2in enough fat. Now, if you go into the morning and you're like,
34:09Speaker 2you know, you, everybody knows what I'm talking about. You're not eating enough fat because
34:14Speaker 2you don't have that lubricant and just should just try about out. I'm just somebody that doesn't track macros.
34:20Speaker 2I don't track how much protein that I eat. I don't want to do that. So the way that I've always done it is I just listened to my body. If I'm taking a dump in the morning and it's hard to push out, up my fat and
34:30Speaker 2that's going to grow us, but that's how I run it. That's exactly how I do it. That's how I coach too.
34:35Speaker 2That is the fat 1. So in regards to, if you're somebody that maybe wants to take Retatrutide
34:41Speaker 2and stay lean, but bulk up again, bulk up a little bit, that's kind of an easy 1. Would you say? And we're talking about that? Well, a, would say testosterone.
34:49Speaker 3Okay.
34:50Speaker 3Hope so. I mean, in the absence of like, we could go through and name a 100 steroids, that'll just get you huge, but that's not the point. So,
34:59Speaker 3but, but you know, Hey, keep your testosterone levels up. You have to, you have to, testosterone
35:05Speaker 3needs to be up to gain
35:07Speaker 3muscle in a little bit more. You're like bumping it up a little bit more from where you're at. Okay. That will help a lot.
35:14Speaker 3But also, so nutrient
35:16Speaker 3partitioning. So peptides,
35:19Speaker 3there is no really great peptides for muscle building for a grown man. Who's already got a lot of muscle. Sorry. Like peptides are not the fastest answer to get huge, but if you're on Reddit and you still want to gain some muscle, cool. You can, I would say that like, so any growth,
35:34Speaker 3any like HGH
35:36Speaker 3or secretagogue?
35:37Speaker 3So CJC, Ipamorelin, probably
35:40Speaker 3MK-677
35:41Speaker 3is the biggest is the best.
35:44Speaker 3Yeah. Go golker.
35:47Speaker 3It boosts your gorrelin receptor. It makes you hungry and
35:50Speaker 3it increases your growth hormone pulses.
35:53Speaker 3So there's MK-six 77, or you could do a CJC plus Ipamorelin blend.
35:59Speaker 3That will, that will help out. And Ipamorelin boost your ghrelin a little bit also.
36:03Speaker 3IGF-1LR-three,
36:05Speaker 3which is a straight up like nutrient practitioner.
36:08Speaker 3So this
36:10Speaker 3way you will
36:12Speaker 3eat protein. Hey, better eat your damn protein, but then it will it'll literally just take that protein, just shove it. Right place. And take all of it and shove it right into your muscle. Yep. Okay. I even know people who, who inject.

37:05Speaker 3That stuff into the muscle they wanna build.
37:08Speaker 3And they say it works. So cool.
37:12Speaker 2So whatever works, whatever But yeah, the MK out of that, in my opinion, anybody that, you know, that, I would say an MK-677
37:18Speaker 2would be like a similar to an Anovar. It's not a steroid. It's a non peptide secretagogue,
37:24Speaker 3but it will just set it makes you freaking hungry. So it would offset the RET to where you're not eating as much. It'll help you eat meat. So it'll still burn that fat, but you'll eat more. So I think those 2 together are perfect for if you're trying to gain a little weight and stay lean. Yeah. I would say add into the other 1 that we're talking about fat burning, right? So this is for people who are just, who are already in shape. They just want it just a little bit. No, but the previous 1, the fat burning 1, we were just talking about how to add muscle. Yep. But I would like to add sloop into the fat burning 1.
37:54Speaker 3SLU-3s that we talked about L-5Amino-1MQ,
37:57Speaker 3right?
37:58Speaker 3Reta and SLU-3s also a nutrient practitioner, but an exercise mimetic.
38:03Speaker 3And that stuff's awesome. Love it. Yeah. Then my pick. And then the last 1 was, was weight loss. Right? Well, what's the difference between fat burning weight loss? Well, yes. I mean, there's a good argument for that weight loss. So for people who like literally just, they need to lose 50 pounds plus. Yeah.
38:18Speaker 3Well, last, but yeah, like they need to lose considerable and they're not in shape and they just need to make a mass change in their life. So the key on that is dosage. It is dosage. I think that that population
38:28Speaker 3will want to do a higher dose of Reta. Now they all, everyone should start at the same dose. Okay. I think a good starting dose is 1 mg a week. I mean, milligram, 3 times a week. If
38:41Speaker 3you're like you, if you do it in 2 weeks, you're like, damn, this is a little too much. And then just do a little bit less. It's not gonna ruin your life. You
38:47Speaker 3know, you could do a little bit less, but I would start there. I generally see people give
38:53Speaker 2it 2 weeks before you. I would, yeah, your 1st week was intense for me. So then after that, ironed out very quickly. Glad that I didn't jump ship. So give it 2 weeks and then adjust. Adjust. I would adjust by
39:04Speaker 30.5 of a milligram per injection. So that would mean 1
39:08Speaker 3mg 3 times a week. That would be then 1.5, 1.5, 1.5.
39:12Speaker 3And I would give that 1 at least 2 weeks, man. Maybe 3 legs and goals and not take as much as possible. Yep. As fast as possible. You're going to inevitably build a tolerance.
39:21Speaker 3Why don't blow out that tolerance at the beginning, but work your way up until it's really working. I generally see people at about 5 or 6 mg a week who need to lose a lot of weight.
39:34Speaker 3That seems to be the real good sweet spot where they start to settle in and
39:40Speaker 3see real good loss.
39:43Speaker 2I don't about you. Yeah. Yeah. And remember, even if like, like where it throws people off, as you start to, your body starts to get used to it and they think if they get hungry, that it's not working and it's such a mind F so to speak and just understand it's burning fat.
39:56Speaker 2I promise you is working.
39:58Speaker 2Yes. Stay the course. People get so weird when they think, oh, I'm like, I'm getting hungry again. Well, listen, that's not a bad thing. You're not not supposed to eat. You're supposed to eat less,
40:08Speaker 3eat less, eat better food, burn your fat. Trust me. Here's the thing on those people who need to lose a lot of weight. Would absolutely suggest doing a ketogenic diet. Hell yeah. You're throwing, you're throwing gas
40:19Speaker 3on the fire. It'll make everything work is better. Right. And do it right. But if you don't wanna start that way, like let's set goals that we can, that are attainable.
40:28Speaker 3Right. I guess we see a lot of people have what tropes and dreams, then I'm gonna make all these changes. I'm gonna do everything
40:34Speaker 3all at once and then they can't do anything,
40:37Speaker 3you know, fully. So I don't know. Master 1 thing. Hey, throw that, throw that in. But, but,
40:44Speaker 21 of the cool things too, that people need to realize is the objective is not just to take something and at work, the objective is to change your lifestyle.
40:52Speaker 2And 1 of the cool things that I can tell you after coaching a lot of people on a carnivore or ketogenic diet,
40:59Speaker 2the discipline that comes with it is, is a muscle. When you start to cut foods out. Yeah, it sucks cutting out sugar and
41:07Speaker 2sweets and stuff at 1st. Right. But anything that you is new sucks,
41:12Speaker 2but that's the, that's the point. We start to retrain
41:15Speaker 2ourselves. We start to implement disciplines.
41:19Speaker 2And so the red is a crutch, but at the same time, want to eventually get to the fact where this is just a way of life. And when you start to like get that snowball
41:26Speaker 2spinning downhill
41:27Speaker 3on the disciplines I've seen on a corner carnivore diet, you gotta be strict on a carnivore diet. You're building that discipline muscle. It works really well. Yep. And it is doable. I've seen, I've seen him, like we go out to dinner and he literally, you know, he orders the sandwich with no bread or like, I don't know.
41:47Speaker 2Would always be like,
41:48Speaker 3didn't even know you could do that.
41:50Speaker 2Well, you get creative and you kind of start thinking through things. Like, we'd always go to meetings. We were at a Wednesday night and this sucker right here had always eaten the damn cookies, man. I'm like, he would always still stay in shape. I was like, hell dude. Some guys just, they are able to eat that stuff.
42:06Speaker 3Know, yes, I pressured you into talking about these GLP-1s and I know that
42:11Speaker 3you are disciplined.
42:13Speaker 2Yeah.
42:14Speaker 3And I guess I had to kind of talk him into being like, I know you are, but like, nah, yeah, 90%
42:19Speaker 2of everybody needs a little help and they deserve a little bit of help. And it takes a while to come around to that. And I remember when I kind of embraced it and started,
42:27Speaker 2again, I'm glad that I tried it for 1 day. Cause you can't really sell something or like talk about something unless you've tried it. Right? Like it's hard to fully like give your perspective.
42:37Speaker 2So I'm glad that I was able to do that. But then I caught up to that fact that, you know, like I'm super disciplined, but I wasn't always, I had to build it like a muscle.
42:44Speaker 2And that's why I try to talk about that stuff as you get better at things that you do over and over and over consistency is a powerful, powerful weapon, dude. Absolutely. And learning is saying no is even more,
42:56Speaker 2right?
42:57Speaker 2No is power.
43:00Speaker 2Noah's power and it is, yeah, it's empowering, right? Yeah. When you're at dinner and everybody's in cake and like you say no, and everybody's like, come on dude, just have a bite dude, whatever. And like you, you walk out of there, you didn't like fold. That's such a superpower, man. I read this, I read this book and,
43:16Speaker 3it's like a science fiction novel.
43:18Speaker 3It was really, really good, but basically the biggest bad asses,
43:21Speaker 3right? And they were evil people. They were definitely the bad people in this story,
43:25Speaker 3but
43:26Speaker 3they were the, what did they call them? Peerless scarred. Those of you who know this book, you know what I'm talking about, but they're kind of MO is they are always under their own self control. So if they eat, they go out to eat they eat 0.75 of their meal. They take 2 bites of the dessert.
43:45Speaker 3That's it. Just to show that they are better than everybody and they can do it and they don't need anything.
43:50Speaker 2They don't ever succumb to want. I love that stuff though, man. I love it. If you have that discipline,
43:56Speaker 2you have reached Jedi status.
43:58Speaker 3Eat a piece of like a bite of cake and eat no more. That's Jedi. Cool. That's good stuff. So it's kind of, yeah, it was kind of hard. Yeah. Even though they were the bad guys, but I thought I found
44:08Speaker 3that 1 kind of gearing.
44:10Speaker 3That's good The
44:13Speaker 3journey to get
44:15Speaker 3in shape from not in shape. It's like some, somebody said,
44:18Speaker 3Hey man, you want to be happy? Go get a 6 pack.
44:21Speaker 3And not like a beer. Right? Getting a 6 pack.
44:24Speaker 3The 6 pack itself is not the thing that makes you happy. You want like that? Not man, a 6 pack. You ain't gonna be happy. Yeah. The F the journey there that took all that self discipline and doing shit when you didn't wanna do it.
44:36Speaker 3And it's empowerment. And yeah, over time that hard work and you know, internally
44:41Speaker 3you did something against all odds and what you didn't wanna do. That's
44:46Speaker 3what builds happiness. Right? You want some self esteem do some esteemable acts. Do that.
44:52Speaker 2Yep. I love that. Yeah. Yep. You will, I mean, there's nothing more powerful than keeping your word to yourself. Yeah. True. Yeah, man. Because most people fall at men, but there it is. Everybody read a true tide, Retatrutide, however you want to call it. Some people call it GLP-three,
45:08Speaker 2some people call it gold 3. It doesn't matter what you call it. It is a scientific
45:12Speaker 2breakthrough. It is really that good.
45:15Speaker 2Most people can benefit from it. Truly. Gym rats losing weight, whatever,
45:20Speaker 2other than tiny little woman that doesn't need to lose any way. Other than that, most people can do well on it. So there you have it. Anything else before we jump ship?
45:28Speaker 3No.
45:30Speaker 2Sorry. We were late. We're 1 day late, but Hey man, forgive us, but we will have the Q and A episode out by Thursday
45:36Speaker 2back on track this week.
45:38Speaker 3And Seahawks won the playoff game. So that's awesome. So I'm going to be in Seattle and watch the next playoff game. No days. And next week, I guess. Yeah. Yeah. Sunday. We'll play the Niners. Boom.
45:48Speaker 2Brett Steam. Yeah.
