0:08Speaker 0Welcome back to the 5th time of the week podcast.
0:11Speaker 0I'm your host JD Denham, sitting in the podcast room, nice and cozy and in
0:17Speaker 0rainy,
0:18Speaker 0but beautiful
0:19Speaker 0South Carolina,
0:21Speaker 0Will is
0:22Speaker 0getting ready to go to a wedding. He's supposed to be laying by a pool, but weather did not allow that. Yes. Weather's not permitting. So we're in basically we're in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
0:36Speaker 1Which is gorgeous. I heard it's gorgeous there. Yeah. Apparently also this is like the site of the, like most shark attacks in The United States. And
0:45Speaker 1they're all bull sharks too. Oh, wow. You know, those guys are mean aggressive and they can go swim up into fresh brackish water, they say. Yeah.
0:56Speaker 1And looking outside in the waves like this, the water looks very sharky. It is not clear. Like you cannot you can't see an inch away from
1:06Speaker 1anywhere in that water.
1:08Speaker 00 chance in hell that I would go in that water.
1:12Speaker 00. I don't know if I ever told you the story. So like, if anybody ever asks, I don't, you know, it's funny that everybody thinks I surf because we live in Huntington Beach, but I don't. And I blame my parents.
1:23Speaker 0So when I was too young, I don't know the age exactly, but you know, if you're listening to this, dad, I blame you. They
1:30Speaker 0let me watch Jaws when I was a kid. I've never been the same.
1:34Speaker 0Never been the same. I never wanted to go in the damn ocean after that movie. I never recovered, dude. So, you know, obviously when you're scared of something or I don't know if everybody's like this, I'm intrigued by it. You want to learn about it? So obviously shark week and all that stuff. As you said, bull sharks, those are the worst sharks, dude. Those things have no mercy.
1:54Speaker 1Will get your face off. Yeah. Just for the fun of it.
1:58Speaker 1Absolutely. And no doubt. I don't blame you on this. I mean, and sharks are impressive animals. It's kind of fun to watch them from a TV screen.
2:07Speaker 1Not in the actual
2:09Speaker 0wild next to you. Do you see when I got
2:12Speaker 0married,
2:13Speaker 0go out, we, we, our,
2:15Speaker 0we went to Maui is where we stayed for
2:19Speaker 0the next week or so, you know, after. And
2:22Speaker 0we were going to go on like a shark expedition, but she
2:26Speaker 0wanted to go in the damn shark cage. And I'm like, that's a freaking lutely not dude. Like you ever seen those like videos where the shark gets in the damn hole? Like my new bride, like honey, you ain't going in the damn shark cage now. Lucky I lucked out because they didn't have that on Maui. They'd have another only cage that's not Maui. So I'm like, Dude, my wife's so funny. Dude, then in Florida, we took a vacation to Florida. We went on this,
2:48Speaker 0alligator,
2:49Speaker 0like in the dunes or wherever,
2:52Speaker 0and like boats. My wife is sitting on the edge,
2:55Speaker 0Alligators like swimming all around, like she's like, put I'm like, what the
2:58Speaker 0her on the other side What are you doing? Like, what?
3:01Speaker 0My wife did.
3:03Speaker 1God love her. You know, I wouldn't do the shark cage in Maui either because, I mean, there's no great whites. There's sharks that they're gonna see there, tiger sharks, they're pretty big,
3:12Speaker 1but still I would, I would rather do what I'm saying. I'd rather go in the shark cage with great whites because then they can't get in. It's the little sharks that can get in there and Alyssa could get yanked right through those,
3:24Speaker 0Put her hand out, My wife is just, she's smart, but does dumb stuff.
3:29Speaker 0Honey, I know you're listening. Yeah. Well,
3:32Speaker 0we're getting back to kind of the roots of where this all began, man. And we haven't had, we haven't been separated by a screen in quite some time. I'll have to be honest with you. I like sitting across from you, dude. A little more organic.
3:47Speaker 1It's a lot better in person. It's a lot better in person, but,
3:50Speaker 0at least we're used to this. This isn't like completely foreign. We did this for a while. And it's cool because like technology is pretty dope, dude. You're in, you're in South Carolina. I'm here in California and look what we're doing, man. So let's get you rolling because you need to get back to your trip. You need to like get with your girl
4:07Speaker 0and do all that, that fun stuff in the rain.
4:11Speaker 1So today, at least it's a little sunny today. So like we might as well
4:15Speaker 1walk out, walk out into the beach and not go swimming, but yeah, gloomy here too.
4:19Speaker 1So May,
4:21Speaker 1gray, June gloom. It's crazy in Southern California. It's like gorgeous all summer. Summer is like 9 months long, but May and June
4:28Speaker 1are terrible. Like always,
4:30Speaker 1well, especially June. It's just gloomy the entire time when you thought summer was so bad right now. Looks like it's gonna rain. Yeah.
4:38Speaker 1Crazy. But it's all good. It's still humid here. It's still warm. It looks like it's, you know, 50 degrees outside and you walk outside and it's probably still 75
4:45Speaker 1and humid,
4:47Speaker 1but raining.
4:48Speaker 0Crazy,
4:49Speaker 0I did a lot of mortgages in South Carolina and North Carolina, and man, they have gorgeous,
4:54Speaker 0gorgeous homes.
4:55Speaker 0Never been there, but I've just seen the homes and they're gorgeous, man. A lot of most people have lake acres and stuff like that. So cool. Cool. Everything, every house around here, every house around here is on stilts. Yeah.
5:08Speaker 0By the beach.
5:11Speaker 1Everything is on stilts for
5:13Speaker 1hurricanes and flooding. It's a real, it's a potential thing.
5:18Speaker 0Which they deal with a lot, man. Everybody's worried about California and earthquakes, man. When's the last time we had an earthquake that we even like really did anything. Even shook us to the degree where you're worried. It's been a long time. Yeah. It's been a long, long time.
5:30Speaker 1Don't even do All that,
5:31Speaker 1right.
5:32Speaker 0Well, here today, we're going to bust out too quickly. These will be easy ones. These are great,
5:37Speaker 0great peptides.
5:39Speaker 0Now, a lot of times I think people wouldn't think that
5:43Speaker 0inflammation
5:44Speaker 0and gut health and
5:46Speaker 0sex would all kind of go together, but they kind of do because when you're stressed,
5:51Speaker 0you get inflamed and that affects your hormones, which affects your sex
5:56Speaker 0and all these things. These 2 actually, believe it or not, people wouldn't think they go together, but I think they do. So we're gonna talk about KPV,
6:04Speaker 0which is a great 1. We have done this a long time ago. I think this has been almost a year. And then the 2nd 1 is
6:10Speaker 0everybody's
6:11Speaker 0favorite, PT-one hundred 41, which will be very easy. And if you haven't heard of it, you must be living under a rock. So let's jump right in, man. Let's start with KPV.
6:20Speaker 0PT-one hundred 41 is pretty easy. Let's start with KPV, man. Tell us a little bit about it. Okay. So I guess your 1st statement saying, you know, you don't think that
6:43Speaker 1like hormone. And both of these are derived from that. So it's interesting. They are basically from some of the same, same piece. But
6:51Speaker 1that and that that hormone stimulates, you know, well, controls
6:55Speaker 1inflammation, skin pigmentation,
6:57Speaker 1appetite, immune response now, but KPV
7:00Speaker 1is
7:02Speaker 1basically its main thing is anti inflammation.
7:04Speaker 1Okay. So that is it's that's the general underlying
7:09Speaker 1current of KPV is anti inflammation.
7:12Speaker 1Now it's actually, it's it's light, it's made up of 3 amino acids. So it's a very short chain and a very simple thing. Body makes it naturally.
7:22Speaker 1So there people aren't going to see any like histamine reactions because our body recognizes it as ourselves.
7:29Speaker 1And therefore the side effect profile is like nonexistent.
7:33Speaker 1So there's no such thing really as too much. I don't think, but, but then again, more isn't necessary. There comes a, there comes a point where there's diminishing returns once you get to a certain dose. Absolutely. Kind of unlike BPC where it's like, you do 10 mg of BPC in an injection,
7:50Speaker 1it will work a lot better than 1 mg and you know, it'll work
7:55Speaker 1even better. You know, 9, 10 is better than 9 and actually, you know, equally as we go KPV,
8:02Speaker 1we're looking at, you know, 0.5 mg, maybe 1 mg
8:05Speaker 1maximum, anything more than that. It's just kind of a waste of money. But
8:09Speaker 1so the cool thing is so anti inflammation, it is unlike ibuprofen or an NSAID
8:14Speaker 1non steroidal anti inflammatory.
8:16Speaker 1Those just tell they say, Hey, master switch inflammation in your whole body, shut it off. No inflammation anywhere. Even the good inflammation.
8:24Speaker 1KPV
8:25Speaker 1will actually go find things that are
8:28Speaker 1ultra inflamed and will just target them. It will really selectively choose
8:35Speaker 1to lower inflammation, anything that is too inflamed
8:38Speaker 1as opposed to just shutting off all inflammation
8:41Speaker 1whatsoever,
8:43Speaker 1which
8:44Speaker 1is actually kind of elegant and nicely designed, but it's a small amino acid. So it's very small, small peptide, very small, and we'll get in and do its specific signaling job.
8:56Speaker 1Gut. So I guess where, I mean,
8:59Speaker 1gut health, is definitely, it's gonna, it's going to, so this and BPC taken together is the best way to kind of heal, heal a person's gut. And KPV
9:09Speaker 1is there to calm down cytokines when we basically have some inflammation going on or an autoimmune reaction, our body produces all these cytokines and they go crazy and they cause more inflammation everywhere.
9:22Speaker 1This calms them down, gets rid of them, creates an environment
9:26Speaker 1so that it can be healed. The BPC comes in and does the actual
9:31Speaker 1repairing of tissue
9:33Speaker 1work.
9:35Speaker 1I know that you are,
9:37Speaker 1you know, you're dealing with a lot of gut issues, but it is definitely going to help with the gut.
9:44Speaker 1I don't know. What else do you got to add on that? Think, I I think,
9:48Speaker 0well, you know, I think a lot of people aren't going realize like that 1 of the main qualities of it is inflammation because it's known for gut. I think that's if people that know about it, they're going to think about gut 1st, but it's going to bring down inflammation. So I think it would be good to be ran with
10:02Speaker 0ding ding ding TA-one.
10:04Speaker 0I think those 2 would be good for
10:06Speaker 0inflammation,
10:08Speaker 0depending on what your objectives are. If it's gut health, then you wanna kind of take a left turn and you wanna add in the BPC-157,
10:15Speaker 0because they'll work really good in tandem. I mean, what are some of the problems that are plaguing
10:20Speaker 0everybody basically
10:21Speaker 0with gut issues? You got leaky gut that, you know, even doctors are finally coming around and admitting that leaky gut is there,
10:29Speaker 0which,
10:30Speaker 0you know, so many things, you know, they say this, the gut's 2nd brain. I mean, that's been out there for a long time. I think that we all agree that that's the case.
10:39Speaker 0So many people, of the air,
10:42Speaker 0the food,
10:43Speaker 0sugar,
10:44Speaker 0seed oils,
10:46Speaker 0you know, just the food is fake. It is absolutely
10:49Speaker 0destroying
10:50Speaker 0our gut biomes and causing
10:53Speaker 0just countless autoimmunions.
10:55Speaker 0I mean, how many people do you know that has an autoimmune? You could probably talk with most.
11:00Speaker 0Yeah, probably. Yes. Yeah. So taking it and,
11:05Speaker 0and, you know, trying to work on some of that stuff where if you have some, you know, eczema or psoriasis
11:13Speaker 0or I mean, pretty much any type of autoimmune,
11:17Speaker 0it's going to help with that type of stuff.
11:20Speaker 0And that's just where a lot of people are sick. You know, I mean, what are some of the, again, processed foods,
11:26Speaker 0Stress,
11:27Speaker 0as we've talked about lately,
11:29Speaker 0Will, is just
11:31Speaker 0lack of sleep,
11:34Speaker 0high stress.
11:37Speaker 0Those
11:37Speaker 02 things in particular
11:40Speaker 0are so huge in affecting our lives in so many different ways where
11:46Speaker 0I've tasted it recently
11:48Speaker 0and never have really experienced just the power of cortisol.
11:53Speaker 0Cortisol is a deadly beast, man. That stuff, if you spike your cortisol, dude, it's going to mess you up in so many ways, you know, and you've heard my story recently. I've dealt with some of that stuff because I was going so long with lack of sleep. Finally it just said, boom.
12:08Speaker 0And man, I had this little pocket of fat that was chilling in my stomach and, you know, I'm on pretty, pretty easily fairly ripped. And dude, I could not get rid of it. And you know me, I researched the hell out of it. I'm like, what the hell is happening right now? Cortisol, dude, sleeping,
12:24Speaker 0So we live in a world where people drive an hour and 0.5 to work and an hour and 0.5 home. If that's you, I feel horrible for you. I don't think I ever could do that. But people do that spiking. You know, you're just, that stuff is just not just the food we eat, the air we drink, just the stress, man.
12:42Speaker 0Is brutal on our guts. Let's talk about the obvious also.
12:47Speaker 0Antibiotics,
12:49Speaker 0Antibiotics,
12:50Speaker 0you know, and it's gonna be a matter of opinion on that. You know, I don't know if anybody saw, you know, Scott come on the show, but he's
12:57Speaker 0highly,
12:58Speaker 0highly, highly against antibiotics. Now they have their
13:01Speaker 0purpose to where it's like a detrimental,
13:04Speaker 0like you need this to stay alive. But other than that, just destroy these things, just destroy our gut
13:12Speaker 0biome. And these are things that are like cascading events that follow.
13:17Speaker 0And that's why I think so many people have these damn autoimmune issues.
13:20Speaker 0So if you're listening to this and you have an autoimmune,
13:25Speaker 0I do too. I talk about it all the time. I got this damn head thing that I've been dealing with for years.
13:30Speaker 0I took a break from peptides and finally taking it this month and back on them. Was telling Will before we started recording, Damn, I'm gonna start taking KPV today, baby. It's been a while. So, you know, I hadn't taken it in a while, but,
13:42Speaker 0just doing a little studying before the show. It's, it's great, man. It's like, as you said, 3, 3, it's 3 amino acids and it carries a big punch for what it does, dude. So
13:53Speaker 1yeah, let's like outline the, so here's
13:56Speaker 1the kind of classifications. If you have 1 of these, this is, I would absolutely suggest KPV,
14:01Speaker 1right? So anybody with like diagnosed
14:04Speaker 1Crohn's, ulcerative colitis,
14:06Speaker 1microscopic colitis,
14:09Speaker 1anybody with IBS, leaky gut. Okay. So
14:14Speaker 1any in any inflammatory skin condition. When I started this, I said it was from the, this originates from that,
14:22Speaker 0Melanocyte,
14:23Speaker 1which which that controls
14:26Speaker 1our skin pigmentation.
14:27Speaker 1Therefore,
14:28Speaker 1this is absolutely going to help and heal and reduce inflammation of any skin disorders, including eczema, psoriasis,
14:35Speaker 1chronic acne.
14:38Speaker 1You know, it will help reduce inflammation from that. Rosacea,
14:42Speaker 1anybody who is a hard, if you're working out constantly, right? And therefore you have inflammation everywhere. And some that's good. That's how we build muscle. You know, we want to, a bodybuilder wants to cause inflammation. They want to tear the hell out of your muscles while you're in the gym, right? And then have even more inflammation, which elicits a healing response, but it only elicits a healing response for like 48 hours.
15:04Speaker 1Then it's just slowing you down and not recovering. Okay. So,
15:09Speaker 1it's skipping is not a bad idea to take on a regular, like,
15:13Speaker 1like a maintenance
15:15Speaker 1protocol. If you're, if you're working your ass off,
15:18Speaker 1if you're doing kind of too much physical activity,
15:21Speaker 1great. That will help a lot. Any autoimmune conditions and like you just said, the post antibiotic
15:29Speaker 1uses. So if you went through a cycle of antibiotics,
15:32Speaker 1run some KPV. Run
15:34Speaker 1Run it. This. You know what I mean? What? Got gut inflammation,
15:39Speaker 0IBS,
15:40Speaker 0helps support gut lining. What else? Bloating,
15:44Speaker 0digestion
15:45Speaker 0issues. I mean, how many people have that for countless different areas? I mean, again, the food that we eat is just
15:54Speaker 0causing a lot of problems. So it's great. I think everybody listening to this is probably going down. I need to get some of that stuff. Yeah. I'll leave you with 1 last anecdote. No doubt. My,
16:03Speaker 1well, 1st of all, do want to talk about, cortisol.
16:06Speaker 1Cortisol.
16:07Speaker 1I think we all know cortisol. It's in commercials for women's products. Oh, bad. You know, get rid of the bad cortisol. Cortisol is our,
16:15Speaker 1is our, is the hormone that goes off essentially that from a fight or flight response, right? So anytime
16:22Speaker 1stressed,
16:24Speaker 1we that elicits a fight or flight response in us in this stress response. Okay? And think of it this way, guys, we are all cavemen still our body genetically,
16:33Speaker 1you know, it takes a lot of evolution does its time, but it takes a while.
16:37Speaker 1So we
16:38Speaker 1are what happens to our body when we're in this, in this fear response, our body just start thinks it thinks we're going to have no food. We need to use a lot of energy.
16:48Speaker 1We
16:49Speaker 1basically need to be in a cave and we have to fight off a bear for 3 days with no food and heat. Okay. So what it does is it just starts,
16:57Speaker 1it starts storing fat. So any little bit of food you can have, you eat, it'll store it as fat. It will start actively breaking your muscle down and turning it into sugar, filling your blood with sugar to give you energy
17:09Speaker 1right now to go do the necessary task to essentially like keep you alive, right? Any of that energy that you do not use, it tears your muscles down, fills it with sugar. If you don't use that energy, it goes great. Let's store this as fat because who knows how long we're gonna have to be here working
17:24Speaker 1hard.
17:25Speaker 1And, and actually, and we know this, like all of that, that cortisol fat is stored right by your belly button, right? That's your lower belly is where all that fat works. Now, a lot of things can elicit this response. So like you said, no sleep, Like, sorry, if you just slept less than like 5 hours, guess what? All day long. 1st of all, you didn't build,
17:45Speaker 1didn't build any muscle while you're sleeping. You didn't burn any fat while you're sleeping. You're not losing weight.
17:51Speaker 1We have a lot, if we actually get a good night's sleep, you will people, I mean, I sweat when I sleep because my metabolism is just revved and I'm burning tons of calories.
17:59Speaker 1My body's rebuilding all of its muscle, right? And is burning a lot of fat. But if you have low sleep all day long guys, guess what? Your body is not burning any fat. You're in this cortisol cortisol response, right? Your body's actively breaking muscle down
18:13Speaker 1and storing fat. If you drink alcohol, alcohol is poisoned, folks. That immediately
18:19Speaker 1elicits the same response and alcohol burns off, you know, maybe 2, 3PM the next day, you know? So that entire time your
18:28Speaker 1body is not burning fat and is not building muscles and it is just basically
18:31Speaker 1creating
18:32Speaker 1fat.
18:33Speaker 1That's why you get, it's usually why you get fat from drinking plus your inhibitions for good, healthy food and decision making goes down. Was gonna say that word. So
18:41Speaker 0you're tired and you feel like shit and like, you know, like cortisol high and like, you're like, even if you don't even know what's happening, which most don't in their body, like, the hell?
18:50Speaker 0You make poor decisions, man. When you're tired, I do. When I'm tired of my dude, I'm not eating my steak and eggs. Dude, I want some like Doritos and shit. You know what mean? Like, that just sounds better. You know what mean? We make poor decisions when we're tired. You know what I mean? It's so funny, dude. Absolutely. And then also like any, so, so he said low sleep stress,
19:12Speaker 1traveling.
19:14Speaker 1Like, I don't know if you've, for people who travel a lot, that sucks. I'm sorry, but your body isn't always in this, you know, it's circadian rhythm is messed up. It's always in this kind of stress state. Anybody who's going through a breakup with a significant other, These big stressful events in our life, like you'll notice that that's when people get out of shape or don't for sure as hell don't make a bunch of physical progress just because you can't, your body is just not burning fat and not recovering as it should. So consistency
19:40Speaker 1is key that ever you I mean, there's a whole bunch of lifestyle changes that we talk about all the time that can keep you out of that response, but also,
19:48Speaker 1a ton of peptides that help help with this also
19:52Speaker 1to keep you out of there and to combat it.
19:54Speaker 0I mean, think about it now because peptides have made such, you know, are making such waves and so many people are taking them and falling in love with them rightfully so.
20:03Speaker 0Gosh, think about 10 years ago when really nobody heard about them and these people were going through the same stuff. So at least we have these types of things because,
20:11Speaker 0you know, I speak with experience when you're going through something and you go to a doctor,
20:16Speaker 0you know,
20:17Speaker 0what's their response
20:19Speaker 0almost always is here, here's some antibiotics. I've had doctors tell me what I have. My autoimmune can't be cured, but take some antibiotics. Well, why the hell would I do that? Like, if it can't be cured, then why am I doing that? My problems with my gut, you know, and like, why am I telling you this? You know what I mean? But, that's what they know. So they're going to give you these antibiotics.
20:38Speaker 0So if that's
20:39Speaker 0somebody that's dealing with something like that now, like you can have, you can start with KPV and you can start with BPC and you can do these things at least 1st and start fighting it and
20:51Speaker 0not necessarily go the Western medicine route, because regardless of what your stance is on that, I don't care. It's not the point of what I'm talking about.
20:58Speaker 0You know, like they're going to jack you up. Antibiotics,
21:01Speaker 0they fixed like a little problem here, but there's 17 chain reactions that a lot of times don't show up for months, years, and that's autoimmune. You know what I mean? So if we can kind of step away from that and just start to use peptides, which are just chains of amino acids, dude,
21:19Speaker 0that's a healthier lifestyle, dude. And then when you need, when you really, really need the antibiotics to work, they just won't work if you build immunity. Cause we know we can easily build immunity to them.
21:31Speaker 0So yes, don't use them if you can't. So yeah, everybody,
21:34Speaker 0go out and get some KPV. KPV. My
21:37Speaker 1last thing is
21:38Speaker 1anecdotal like story. So like my girlfriend, for example, she was having, I've said this before, was having like gut, like what's what sounded to me like heartburn issues, except for she wasn't experiencing it up where a heartburn occurs. Right? It was like it was a lot lower.
21:54Speaker 1And the
21:56Speaker 1only response that I had was, it's probably this you're starting of leaky gut, right? This is what starting of an ulcer is when our mucus lining of our stomachs, we have our stomach acid mucus
22:07Speaker 1lining over that. That gets, when the mucus lining starts to get burned through with our stomach acid and this acid touches the actual stomach wall,
22:16Speaker 1that hurts like hell. And it is like, it well, it feels like acid, right? Except for it's not reflux. It's not going up the tube. It's actually kind of going out the side of the stomach. So she did a heavy course of KPV
22:29Speaker 1and
22:31Speaker 1BPC
22:32Speaker 1as well. And I was talking to her yesterday and she's like, I have no pain
22:36Speaker 1like whatsoever. That's right. Healed. Now she needs to keep doing. She also, what she also did was lower her caffeine, her coffee intake,
22:44Speaker 1right? Cause that's just pouring acid down in there.
22:47Speaker 1So she did some other lifestyle changes as well, but yeah,
22:52Speaker 0dude, that's a good point, dude. That's a good point. Cause we're talking about peptides and that's the focus of this podcast obviously, but, you know, we do tap on this a lot, but there is a lifestyle change. If you're going through some type of problem in the peptide, let's focus on whatever peptide, hypothetically peptide fixes that. There's so many other things that you need to do, like diet changes,
23:13Speaker 0obviously exercising,
23:14Speaker 0get moving. You need, if you, I hope, to God people do research this and dig into these things because it's not just the peptides,
23:21Speaker 0it's, you know, we've said it about hormone replacement 1000000 times that the peptides are only going to work well if you're optimized
23:27Speaker 0hormonally.
23:28Speaker 0Like, it's, there's so many things and like, dude, I'm living proof of just some of the stuff I've recently gone through and I was blown away by it. It's not like I think I'm a pretty healthy dude, but I'm going to be 49 in a month. And
23:40Speaker 0for years I abused my body and I put it through hell and back and there's residual, man. There's just, there's, it's unavoidable. I took a lot of painkillers at 1 time and I jacked up my gut and I'm paying for it. You know what I mean? Later on in life, it is what it is. But, you know, I'm taking those, those,
23:58Speaker 0I'm doing what I can do working with Doctor. Scott, you know, stool tests, all those things to fix this stuff, man. All of us. It's important because every single 1 of us should want to
24:08Speaker 0obviously feel good
24:10Speaker 0and the best that we can do. And that takes work, man.
24:14Speaker 1Does. It takes work. It takes consistency too. Does.
24:18Speaker 0Figure
24:19Speaker 0out why, right? If you're off and you don't, because I think, I think Americans
24:24Speaker 0in general
24:25Speaker 0have gotten so used to kind of feeling like shit because we have such bad diets. Are most people, right? They just eat poop food, dude. And like, I think you start just like, you think that's the norm. And when you can start to back that off and heal yourself,
24:43Speaker 0you can go, Dude, I feel like 1000000 bucks.
24:45Speaker 0That's how we're supposed to feel. It doesn't matter how old you are. We're supposed to feel good. We
24:50Speaker 1are supposed to feel good. And
24:53Speaker 1like making these changes, here's what I see a lot is people,
24:56Speaker 1okay, I feel bad. Oh, let's make a change. They try something for like a day or
25:02Speaker 1once or instant gratification. They're like, Oh, doesn't work. Doesn't work. Screw it. I'm not going do that again. Like, dude, you need it. And maybe it didn't work. Hey, maybe you do it for something like 3 weeks a month. Okay. It didn't work. And now it's not time. Well, I
25:15Speaker 1just can't be, just can't be fixed. No, that's, that is data. That's good. You kind of sometimes need to know what doesn't work before you figure out what does work. Okay. So
25:25Speaker 1good job, but keep persisting.
25:29Speaker 0Look at it like this. Watch this, folks. Didn't gain all this weight overnight, so you're not going to fix it overnight. It's
25:36Speaker 0going to take time. You gained weight over a long period, right? So give yourself some time to
25:41Speaker 0rectify the boat.
25:43Speaker 0Oh shit.
25:45Speaker 1Yes. You and Matt, we want it fixed now. We
25:48Speaker 1want to fix it now. We're all the same. We all are the same. Cool. KPV, awesome dude. Let's talk about the fun 1 that,
25:56Speaker 0if you are listening to this and you have not heard about PT-one hundred 41,
26:01Speaker 0you're gonna love this because it is definitely
26:03Speaker 01 of my favorites, at least for fun. I mean, I don't, I don't have a erectile dysfunction or any problems with arousal. I'm madly in love with my bride, but, every once in a while
26:15Speaker 0it's just good to take it, man. And like, it does help with arousal.
26:18Speaker 0And so tell us a little bit about
26:20Speaker 1Okay. So we had talked about this. Well, so 1st of all, how did this thing get discovered? So in the eighties, that university of Arizona,
26:28Speaker 1they were studying,
26:29Speaker 1drugs, peptides specifically for tanning. Okay. They're doing tests on
26:34Speaker 1men and actually specifically on Melanotan II to see how well it worked to make them tan. Then
26:42Speaker 1they started getting
26:44Speaker 1all of these men started just getting spontaneous erections.
26:48Speaker 1And I said, what the hell? Why is this? Which then shifted the entire field, the entire research project to, okay, maybe let's now develop a libido drug.
26:58Speaker 1And this is what they came up Right? By the way, Melanotan II folks, if you take that, it has the same like amino acid chain PT-one hundred 41 does. So it will also make you a little bit horny and PT-one hundred 41 will overuse
27:12Speaker 1over long term use
27:14Speaker 1will affect the pigmentation of your skin. It will make you a little bit darker, not to the degree in as fast as MTN2,
27:21Speaker 1but it will. So
27:23Speaker 1then, so yeah, it is now, so as 2019,
27:27Speaker 1it was FDA approved for like post menopausal women with low libido.
27:32Speaker 1And the cool thing is it does not, it does not work like a Viagra Cialis. Okay. So it is not, those are just purely, Hey, let's pump blood to blood vessels where our body asks us to pump blood. Okay. So a lot of people have ED that is not fixed by Viagra Cialis. Imagine,
27:50Speaker 1I don't know, I guess that happens, but apparently that is happening. That happens.
27:54Speaker 1Their problem with their ED is
27:57Speaker 1a mental thing, right? They're just not getting turned on. So that's what this is purely a mental peptide,
28:04Speaker 1right? It just enhances
28:07Speaker 1your dopamine, which is what is our like desire and our motivation.
28:12Speaker 1And
28:13Speaker 1it will enhance that. So anything you start to kind of want more, it will make you really want it.
28:19Speaker 0And for some, and it worked really well with our sex drive really well. It really does. Mean, it's great to be incredible. I mean, 1 of, I think 1 of the things we come across
28:29Speaker 0very often is just women, menopause and stuff like that. You know, I mean, gals that go through a lot, but you know, if your sex drives off, if you're moody and you're probably your husband's bugging you and whatnot,
28:40Speaker 0this will work. It really will. You know, I know some people have like say that it doesn't work. I don't know what you're talking about because I'm telling you, it's a pretty powerful thing. And like Will said, it's not like a CLS where it's going to affect the blood flow. It's a, it works from your brain. So very different. I mean, very different in what they do. Similar results. Now, best part,
28:58Speaker 0CLS doesn't do anything for the ladies.
29:01Speaker 0BT-one 141 equally, equally as much in regards to arousal and stuff like that. And I know that for
29:08Speaker 0whatever reason,
29:09Speaker 0know, and it's coming around for hormone replacement for women and whatnot. We've seen such a big change. Thank God, even women get in on a small dose of
29:18Speaker 0testosterone,
29:19Speaker 0but let's say a woman doesn't even know about that and their sex drive probably sucks. This is at least going to help, you know, you take this 1 night, you're probably gonna like at least, you know, want to get some that night. It will,
29:31Speaker 1you know, fucking works, man. Like you have really worked. So I would say in like how, okay, here's,
29:37Speaker 1this is what everybody can expect. So I would take it like 45 minutes before the actual
29:43Speaker 1act of sex. It takes a bit to kick in when I do it. And what I do is like a 10 mg bottle.
29:49Speaker 1I add 2 mils of water and then at a higher dose for me is about is 20 units. So that's equals that. That means I'm injecting 1 mg. Okay. Anything
30:00Speaker 1less than 10 units, anything less than 0.5 a milligram, it's probably not going to do anything for me at all.
30:06Speaker 1I have done up to 40. I've done 2 mg. Okay. And it was way too much. You once I do the injection, I definitely get flush red.
30:15Speaker 1Right away. Right away to varying degrees. And then it and then it's it slowly builds in your system.
30:24Speaker 1And it's, what's funny is like, don't really start going, gosh, I'm just super horny. But as soon as you maybe like touch your girlfriend or start kissing her, then it's like, oh my goodness.
30:34Speaker 1And then during the act it makes you hypersensitive
30:38Speaker 1and
30:38Speaker 1really into it, I guess. Yeah. But you can, but it will at the same time, nausea and so it can make people nauseous. Don't really get nauseous. Like it doesn't make me want to throw up. What I do
30:49Speaker 1feel almost is like slightly almost like hypertensive,
30:54Speaker 1But I got to find the right dose and that's if I do too much, right? Like, it can make me feel like crap.
31:00Speaker 1It can increase your blood pressure,
31:02Speaker 1folks, for some people, especially at higher, higher doses.
31:07Speaker 1But, you know, finding the right mix, I would say women,
31:10Speaker 1I think you should be doing
31:12Speaker 1If I'm a man and I'm going do 1 mg, I'd say, well, I'm going to start with 0.5 a milligram to maybe 0.75 of a milligram.
31:19Speaker 1Just a smaller body. I'm a big body. Maybe I can take more. The clinical dose like the FDA approved dose for postmenopausal
31:26Speaker 1women is a 1.75
31:28Speaker 1mg, which strikes me as like, that's crazy. That's high. So I don't know. Maybe they're maybe they're PT-one hundred 41 they had isn't very good, but let's get these girls corn that I use is,
31:40Speaker 1that's a lot too much.
31:43Speaker 1So it
31:44Speaker 1also is very stable. So it's,
31:47Speaker 1I've had open bottles of PT-one hundred 41 for
31:51Speaker 17, 8 months. They are not even in my fridge.
31:55Speaker 1It's still work. Yeah, for sure. And you use them as needed, right? I don't, you know, you don't, it's just as needed. I know that at 1 point you were experimenting, taking
32:03Speaker 0a little mixture of of of a very low dose of PT-one hundred 41 and oxytocin in the morning, just no matter what. Because I was reading about a lot of people that are starting to like microdose it on a daily basis, kind of like how people might microdose Cialis.
32:17Speaker 1So
32:19Speaker 0I was doing it for a while. I mean, because the 1 thing about that I've experienced with it is similar
32:24Speaker 0effects to like a Cialis to where for me, I don't have any erectile dysfunction type stuff. So it works for days after. Not so like intense as the 1st day, right? But like, you know, you kind of feel, I was telling him before this, like, so I take about the same. Take, I do 1 mg or 1 mil of water. He does 2, but then he does 20 units and I do 10. So it's the same math. It's a milligram. And that's generally the sweet spot I have, but you know, me just being me and just wanting to test the limits. So I did 20 units of that. So 2 mg 1 day and it was great sex, you know, it was an intense night.
33:02Speaker 0But the next day, you know, I was like a 16 year old dude. We did a podcast and I'm like, you know, all day long, like a 16 year old, I'm like, Oh man, it's just too much, dude. I don't want to be like that. You know what mean? I got stuff to do. So,
33:16Speaker 11 time, 1 time I gave myself twice as much. I forgot. I messed up and forgot
33:22Speaker 1that I only put 1 milli water in. And so then I did 20 units. Right. And then I gave my girlfriend similar to that and it was too much and we both felt like crap and she's like not wanting to take it ever since. Oh, really? Because
33:34Speaker 1it was a lot. Was way too much. But I also, it worked, but we were in Palm Springs and yeah,
33:40Speaker 1I like couldn't really like leave the pool, but, and I did not feel good, but it worked. It worked really In
33:46Speaker 0the beginning of,
33:48Speaker 0like peptides and whatnot, I would have my stack and I would have Alyssa with her stack and my wife, she's come a long way and knows a lot about peptides for obvious reasons at this point. But in the beginning it was just like, she just, I would load her up and just give her what, and she took whatever I told her to take. She knew that I knew what I was talking about. I would give her sometimes a little bit of PT-one hundred 41 and we would have sex and it was great. And,
34:11Speaker 0you know, then she realized that that's what it was. And like, she'd bought, did you give me that stuff? I could tell.
34:17Speaker 0I did.
34:20Speaker 0Know Alyssa, dude, she's so funny. Yeah. So
34:23Speaker 0if you're ever going on a trip, like you're on vacation with obviously without the kids probably, but, man, it works well. You know, you'd like Will said, that's the cool thing about it is people think about like losing,
34:36Speaker 0efficacy and all that stuff. I've had it in my fridge for man, a long time and I hadn't used it for a long time and I used it. We're the exact same.
34:44Speaker 0We're the exact same. Yep. We're just saying it works. That's why
34:47Speaker 1it's so it can be used. It can be made into a nasal spray, and
34:51Speaker 1be shipped in last- Have you done the nasal spray? I haven't used it yet. I have. Yes, I have. And it's a bit, know, obviously, hey, look, the subcu injections are just, it's going to work better. You're giving yourself more of a concentrated dose.
35:04Speaker 1It's more of an exact dose also, right? And the nasal spray sometimes you spray
35:08Speaker 1like it gives you 0.5 of a spray and it's hard to quantify that. The they work the same. I mean, it's the same result. I think that the nasal spray is you can give yourself a smaller gentle dose, I suppose. And
35:22Speaker 1I don't care either way. So or you can just, you know, exactly how much you're giving yourself
35:27Speaker 1and do it right with the injection. I don't think I don't notice there's no difference in effect.
35:32Speaker 1Yeah. It's just personal preference. Doesn't really Each his own, man. Another use, like, you know, you go to a party and you just, like, bring a couple bottles of that and, like, spray it into the punch,
35:42Speaker 1for everybody at the party.
35:44Speaker 0It's so hot in here. Don't
35:47Speaker 1do that actually because there might be some people who have like allergic reaction. So don't do that folks, but I thought it'd be funny. I actually just told a story to somebody about this doctor that did that, but with Viagra,
35:57Speaker 0I think that's brilliant. He did? Like, is that real? Yeah,
36:01Speaker 1real. Like crushed up like 100 Viagras into fine powder and just like poured them into the punch bowl at the party.
36:07Speaker 1I doc.
36:09Speaker 1I know.
36:10Speaker 1You are a doctor. Same type of people who like same type of doctors
36:14Speaker 1who've who are like, oh, they have those injector, the the like,
36:18Speaker 1erection injectors.
36:19Speaker 1Right? They just straight up in there and just inject it. That's
36:24Speaker 1where you run the risk of having a erection for lasting longer than 12 hours. Go see your doctor.
36:30Speaker 1Anyway, PT-one hundred 41, man, it works. Get your doses down, try it, you know, let's just maybe start with 0.5 a mg.
36:39Speaker 1You don't, you can always do a little bit more, right? You can start it 45 minutes later. Oh, let's add, let's give myself 10 more units, I don't really feel it. Right? And you'll people, you'll feel it. You'll notice what happens when you do 10 more than that.
36:53Speaker 1There will be a point to like, hey, I'll hold too much. Nausea,
36:56Speaker 0like Yeah. About maybe, like,
36:59Speaker 05 minutes later, it'll just like, it's a quick And
37:03Speaker 0then I just get through. Know it's there because it always happens.
37:05Speaker 0And then it just passes quick, but I do every time I get a little quick wave of nausea.
37:10Speaker 1Yeah, interesting. I mean, it's same thing. Like, it's funny, like, all they're all derived from
37:15Speaker 1from this Alpha MSH. And right? What do we know about Melanotan II? Like, it makes me nauseous.
37:20Speaker 1Every time. I can't I Melanotan II, there's I cannot there's no way I'm not taking that during the day. It'll ruin my day. I'll be nauseous all day long, even a tiny little dose.
37:30Speaker 1So Melanotan 1 does not do that. But even though if I were to you do them, I would definitely do them right before I go to sleep.
37:37Speaker 0So if there is nausea, I'm sick for it. It's been a while since I've done that. Long 10. But yeah, man, PT-one hundred 41 works. It works right now and it does. Yeah. If you're having some problems in your marriage, maybe try a little bit of this. Sex always helps it out a little bit. You know what I mean? But
37:54Speaker 0those are great, man. I think those are 2 great peptides. I thought those are, would be fun to do together.
37:59Speaker 0So
38:00Speaker 0awesome dude. I know,
38:02Speaker 0you come back on Sunday.
38:03Speaker 1I'll be back Sunday night. Yep. Back on Sunday. So let's
