2:10Speaker 0but you've been in the game for a very long time off camera. You told us you've been doing this since you were 16. So, Peter, really quickly for the people that don't know who you are, in your own words, tell us who you are, what you do.

2:43Speaker 4along with that came the 1st peptides such as the human growth hormone

2:50Speaker 4related peptides, growth hormone releasing peptides, peptides,

2:54Speaker 4Melanotan and similar ones.

2:57Speaker 4Nowadays nowadays, the peptides actually do make up a majority
3:01Speaker 4of the samples we test.
3:03Speaker 4Sure. Especially with the advent of GLP ones.
3:06Speaker 4So I believe, at the moment, we're by far the biggest laboratory that does this in the world. We have
3:14Speaker 4over 20,000 square feet of space
3:17Speaker 4and over 40 employees
3:19Speaker 4right now.
3:20Speaker 3That's awesome. That's impressive. I have known you guys. I've been doing ever since I've been in this business, and I feel like maybe 12, 15 years or something like that, I've been sending tests into you,
3:31Speaker 3starting with anabolic steroids.
3:34Speaker 3Hey. So you were young, obviously. Look at you.
3:39Speaker 3Tell us how you how you ended up starting this company because you had to have been a young young man. And and what kind of background did you have? And why? And why did you start it?
3:49Speaker 4Well, I had no background in this at all. I was just your regular scrawny kid.
3:55Speaker 4And I figured
3:58Speaker 4if I want to get popular with the ladies, I ought to take a weightlifting or something.
4:03Speaker 4So
4:05Speaker 4given my education,
4:06Speaker 4I had an education at Bilingual English School, like a British school in Slovakia.
4:13Speaker 4I go I was really fluent in English, so I started looking up my information on English message boards.
4:19Speaker 4And, obviously, when you start looking at the Internet forums,
4:23Speaker 4even 15 years ago or long or more,
4:28Speaker 4you get around with people who that the performance
4:31Speaker 4enhancing drug use so pervasive. You will just come around that, and I befriended many people. I'm actually still in contact with many of the people I met more than 15 years ago online Sounds good. When I was just starting out lifting.

4:46Speaker 4they all had this issue. Like, they
4:49Speaker 4a lot of them were using this performance enhancing drugs.
4:54Speaker 4Nobody had any idea what sort of stuff is actually
4:59Speaker 4in
5:00Speaker 4the products they're using. They bought something, but they had no guarantees gray or black market even if you're in The UK or Slovakia. Back then, the personal use wasn't criminalized.
5:10Speaker 4Mhmm. It was not a crime to use them.
5:13Speaker 4But
5:14Speaker 4even so, there was no regulation.
5:16Speaker 4There were no testing labs that accepted private customers,
5:20Speaker 4private. Mhmm. They they were difficult to deal with. Like, they only did b to b.
5:26Speaker 4It they took months to deliver results. They were exceedingly expensive.
5:31Speaker 4Mhmm. And
5:32Speaker 4I was talking with my friends, and I had a friend at the university, an incredibly bright young guy.
5:38Speaker 4And I figured, like, man, the
5:41Speaker 4concept of chemical analysis, like, it's not a diff you you see it, you know, you buy a mineral water,
5:47Speaker 4and you see the label that the results of the chemical analysis.
5:51Speaker 4So even at a high school, as dumb as I was, I could figure out that it's something that is actually doable. So I
5:57Speaker 4I I investigated this possibility
5:59Speaker 4for my friends
6:01Speaker 4and then for a couple bucks for to cover the costs and a couple of beers on top of that. We tried that and it worked. So
6:11Speaker 4then another friend hit me up of like, hey. Could you do this for me as well? Like, the 1 friend was Serb from Serbia.
6:19Speaker 4Another friend was from The US. 1 was from UK.
6:23Speaker 4So and they started hitting me. Could you do this for me? That's yielded quite a lot of beers.
6:29Speaker 0And
6:30Speaker 4then that
6:32Speaker 4then the friends of them started asking me to do that. And then in a little while,
6:37Speaker 4people I've never heard of started asking me to do stuff for them. And I were like, hey. Hey, guys. Stop. Okay.
6:43Speaker 4I like this is fun, but I had no charity. This is taking out so much of my time. The logistics of international
6:51Speaker 4mail and everything, they're they're rather difficult, so I'm not doing it for b money anymore. So
6:57Speaker 4I took it commercial within a span of roughly a year or so. And
7:05Speaker 4at the start, at the beginning, we were still doing it with with
7:09Speaker 4my friend at the university lab.
7:12Speaker 4But
7:13Speaker 4later on, I saved up the money
7:16Speaker 4and bought my own 1st HPLC,
7:19Speaker 4the machine used to analyze this. Yeah.
7:22Speaker 4This compounds, the basic 1.
7:25Speaker 4So for a while, I was living in a dorm room,
7:28Speaker 4and next to my head, you had this HPLC,
7:32Speaker 4and it was an ancient old 1 because it had to be cheap. I was poor. I was poor. Right. Right. Didn't have enough money for food and
7:39Speaker 4because I was spending it to get high purity chemicals to run the the analysis.

7:45Speaker 4right now, when you have the HPLC,
7:47Speaker 4it's basically it has a pump that's pumping liquid through stuff.
7:51Speaker 4And right now, you have these pumps that are doing like, but
7:56Speaker 4no. The ancient 1 was already 20 years old
7:59Speaker 4when I had it, and it just went like it had these pumping hats,
8:04Speaker 4huge ones like my face, and it just went

8:10Speaker 4And it was it it took a long time. Like, the older the HPLC, the lower the the worse it is, the longer it takes to analyze stuff. Sure. Yeah. Right. So I had so I so I had this stuff running for 40 hours straight

8:27Speaker 4I still remember to this day when my
8:30Speaker 4not from my room, but the next room, the next door, the guy, a lawyer,
8:35Speaker 4he he he just asked me if I'm ever gonna turn it off.

8:40Speaker 4looked at him with this huge circus the dark circus under my eyes, and I told him I cannot for the next 42 hours because
8:48Speaker 4there's a huge backlog of analysis.
8:51Speaker 0Oh, you have sleep. Yeah.
8:53Speaker 4Yeah.
8:54Speaker 4So so so the guy, he just let out this tear of sadness
8:58Speaker 4and went to try went went back to his bed to try to sleep, but
9:03Speaker 4it didn't really work. We're we're still friends to this day, but he really he really regretted living next next door Oh my god. Back then.
9:12Speaker 0That was a good That's amazing. Story. That's a rad story. That that is a rad story. Good for you, man. So it basically was completely organic,
9:20Speaker 0and that's how you started. How rad is that? That is amazing. We never did any marketing. We always I just
9:26Speaker 4I had my had my report with my contact contact information,
9:30Speaker 4and I never did any sort of marketing or paid,
9:34Speaker 4you know, like,
9:35Speaker 4on anabolic steroid forms. It was rather common to pay
9:39Speaker 4to just be able to be there, but I never did that. It sort of went against my
9:45Speaker 4philosophy
9:46Speaker 4of doing stuff. Yeah. So it just grew organically over the years. Right. Eventually, I could move out the lab, out of the dorm. That's when I moved that's

9:58Speaker 0in Prague.
10:00Speaker 4I moved it to Slovakia,
10:02Speaker 4my parents' house. They there was a working space in there.
10:07Speaker 4I'm going to pretend it wasn't a kitchen.
10:12Speaker 4I had a lab there for a while until I found suitable
10:16Speaker 4space back in Czech Republic.
10:18Speaker 4But I really did want to move the lab out of the dorm
10:22Speaker 4Mhmm. Because we had this incident.
10:24Speaker 4Like, you know, when you were getting delivered
10:26Speaker 4chemicals,
10:27Speaker 4high purity chemicals to your dorm room, like you have industrial trucks delivering you chemicals to a dorm room.

10:38Speaker 4It did raise some suspicions.
10:41Speaker 4Sure. And at some point, I had a local equivalent of DEA task force
10:46Speaker 4Oh. Knock on my door at 4AM.

10:52Speaker 4given I was given given I was living alone, I slept like God made me. I just opened the door. Like, what the hell? Who is what was what's the doing this at 4AM?
11:02Speaker 4Yeah. And then I had, you know, these guys in and

11:27Speaker 4It's like the national spot over here. So they sort of assumed it's that. Right. But, you know, they entered. The chemist, they took a look, and

11:41Speaker 4some Sure. Anything.
11:42Speaker 4Right. So so that so they just turned around. They were like, oh, so we're we're sorry, man. No problem.
11:50Speaker 4Yeah. We don't want you. But the dorm yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But the dorm administration
11:54Speaker 4was pretty upset about the whole situation. Yeah. Right.
11:58Speaker 4Like, they woke up the dorm administrator, and she had to be with them there at 4AM.

12:06Speaker 0Looking at that. Peter, do you mind moving out of the door, please? Yeah.
12:10Speaker 3Did they let you stay in the door?
12:13Speaker 4Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They had the the the they just made a it it sort of became a running joke over there. But That's awesome. They let me stay over there. I stayed there for a couple more years. I actually met my wife later on in the dorm.

12:29Speaker 3But I figured that might be just the right time to move the live out of the room I'm living in over there. Yeah. No doubt. Hey, so that's that's awesome. So and the, basically, the genesis of this whole thing, again, goes back to women and trying to men trying to please women. Right? The whole point of you trying to do start anything was because you wanted to get girls.
12:50Speaker 4Wow. So I was I was like when I when I joined the message boards, I was like 14 or 15. So
12:57Speaker 4that's pretty that's that's pretty much nothing that was on mind of. Right. Right. A teenage boy like that. Right? Yeah. Right. Yeah.
13:05Speaker 0So that's cool, man. Thank you. So back then, when you were doing all this and you're you're testing this this these compounds,
13:13Speaker 0were you finding a lot of the compounds
13:16Speaker 0either underdosed
13:18Speaker 0or like a testosterone or like, let's say a trend, ACE coming back as testosterone?
13:23Speaker 0Were you finding a lot of compounds not
13:26Speaker 0being the compounds they were supposed to or at least being greatly underdosed

13:32Speaker 4It has to that,
13:35Speaker 4it's quite a challenge for my memory at this point. Yep. But I do I of course of course, the market was
13:42Speaker 4well, I don't know how to put in my lid. The market was pretty shit given there was no option for people to test stuff. Right.
13:49Speaker 4Basically basically, the cheap compounds like testosterone,
13:53Speaker 4you had testosterone
13:54Speaker 4250
13:55Speaker 4mg, and it turned out to be 300 and 80.
13:59Speaker 4Because the more kick it has, the better it has to be. Right? Yeah. Right.
14:03Speaker 4That was that was pretty much the best or the higher down bow on the blood on the blood test results. So
14:10Speaker 4that's what people went by. And
14:13Speaker 4oftentimes, the compounds in the oil were just random mixtures of stuff like it it looked like someone just found random bags of stuff Jeez. And put it into the oil to make rough concentrations similar to that.
14:26Speaker 4We've even seen,
14:28Speaker 4you know, the trampoline. It's known for being orange, which is actually not good because the tramp orange means it's degraded already. Mhmm. Regular trombone all ought to look the same as just any other oil. Really? But

14:44Speaker 4a lot of oils that were orange as Tremblon
14:48Speaker 4people thought ought to look. But that was just because someone baked the oil and then dissolved testosterone in it, but they baked it to be orange. You know, there there's a particle kinds of oils that turn orange if you bake them long enough. Oh, wow. So That's interesting. We've seen that. That that was that was that was pretty fun to see.
15:05Speaker 4But, basically, basically, it was Wild West. 15 years ago, the bucket was in a terrible shape. Mhmm. But then then as the as the testing as the testing became widely available,
15:17Speaker 4I would say that within 5 years, the entire market changed. Like,
15:24Speaker 4It was a lot more difficult for people who were just making pills
15:27Speaker 4that
15:28Speaker 4had random stuff in them. It became
15:31Speaker 4very difficult to justify that after people could test the stuff themselves.
15:36Speaker 0Well, that's awesome because now it's kind of like deja vu. So now the peptides come into the case and you're kind of at that area now, I would imagine, where it's kind of been the wild wild west, but now with the testing,
15:51Speaker 0you're kind of like back to square 1 to a degree, I would imagine, where you're seeing some of the same type of stuff going on. I mean, are you seeing a lot of stuff come through that's greatly underdosed?

16:05Speaker 4right now, the last couple of weeks, we're seeing this interesting phenomenon
16:09Speaker 4that we receive in a lot of vials
16:12Speaker 4that contain no active compound at all. Oh, wow.
16:16Speaker 4All all different peptides, whether it's GHK,
16:20Speaker 4BPC,
16:21Speaker 4Sema, Retrata,
16:22Speaker 4whatever it is, it's just empty vial. Of course, there's the filler, there's the excipient,
16:28Speaker 4but there's no actual peptide in it. And
16:31Speaker 4there's a whole lot the whole
16:33Speaker 4lot of those
16:35Speaker 4coming in in the last couple of weeks. That's
16:38Speaker 4that's that's the interesting
16:40Speaker 4news from the field. But,
16:43Speaker 4of course, we're regularly seeing wrong dose, wrong peptide peptide in the vial,
16:49Speaker 4roughly 1 in 20 or 25 samples. Okay. Turned out to be just completely something different than it ought to be. Okay.

17:02Speaker 0that's happening the most at, or is it just kinda sporadically

17:09Speaker 4Oh, wow. Well, I have to give a honorable mention to bioglutide,
17:13Speaker 4which if you've heard of it, it's completely made up molecule.

17:18Speaker 4still get an inquiry here and there to test it because someone sold it to someone.
17:24Speaker 4It it always just tests some other GLP 1 or a mixture of them. Right. So that's an honorable mention because I I I
17:32Speaker 4thought that hilarious from the start.
17:36Speaker 4But other than that, it's just
17:39Speaker 4it's just sporadically
17:41Speaker 4this and that. It's it's it's pretty random.
17:44Speaker 4The newer and more the the more rare stuff is, the more it happens, of course. Yep. But
17:52Speaker 4there's no no rule of thumb that 1 could apply as far as I can tell. Because there is probably a rule of thumb if we're talking about hormones like primabolin

19:15Speaker 4They're probably the most faked anabolic steroid in the world. Yeah. Like, if we receive if we receive the Remobolans vial or Remobolans ampule Yeah.
19:25Speaker 4The the it's, like, over 90% chance that it's contained in nothing but beer oil. Oh, wow. Like, 90%.
19:32Speaker 4Wow. Not even BA or BC. Yeah.

19:36Speaker 4and and they're made perfectly. Like, it's it's it's it's knee impossible to tell them from originals. Sure. Oftentimes, they're really perfectly made. They they just contain nothing whatsoever.

Why invest all of your money into making the fake packaging when you could invest all your money into making remaking the actual substance, but the actual substance is more risky.

23:17Speaker 4they're incredibly more expensive in The US Mhmm. Compared to everywhere rest everywhere else in the world. So it just makes more sense for people over there to acquire them of the gray and black market. Sure. Yeah. Then China, but 20%
23:33Speaker 3of your business comes from China. Is that because a lot of the manufacturing is China, and and who's sending it in is the actual manufacturers

27:46Speaker 4as the amount of peptide in total amount of stuff inside the vial, we would get some oftentimes, we would get stuff like 1% or 2% pure. Yeah. Yeah. So

28:04Speaker 4the all peptides, they have a common property. All peptides are made of amino acids that are connected with a peptide bond,

28:18Speaker 4there is no peptide in the world whether you cannot see it or when you look at the peptide bonds. So basically,

28:29Speaker 4test and you get all the peptides

28:33Speaker 4and you just
28:35Speaker 4sum up the number and then you take out your target peptide, what you're looking for. So if you get arbitrary signal of 100 and your peptide has

28:49Speaker 4that's basically the peptide purity that's defined. And then you have 7 thousands of signal that is not attributed
28:55Speaker 4to your target peptide. So that's what the purity means. It's just peptide impurities.

But in my opinion, most of it is completely useless, and I'm pretty open to people about it. Yeah. For example, the peptide in peptides, the heavy metals are not involved in the manufacture at all. There's no reason for them to be in there. We've tested, I think, thousands of them already. We haven't had a single positive yet.

32:24Speaker 0you know, people are using that as a sell ploy and all these things. So basically,
32:28Speaker 0another way to put it is people should be worried about things like seed oils and Doritos and sugars a lot more than
32:35Speaker 0what they're worried about coming through in peptides. Maybe the only fear you should have is, are you getting it dosed?
32:41Speaker 0Is it the peptide that you ordered? And 2, are you is it dosed to a degree where you're it's gonna work for you? Other than that, don't don't worry about it.
32:49Speaker 0Right? Yeah, that's exactly like the best value test by far is the identity and the dose. Mhmm. Which is what I always tell the people. This is the best value that you could get. Everything else is

33:36Speaker 4And the E coli is a bacteria we know very well. It's the scientist's best friend for decades now.
33:43Speaker 4And you can force it to grow human growth hormones for you, but it's a bacteria that has endotoxin
33:49Speaker 4in its cell wall. So if you don't purify your human growth hormone or anything else you make in this bacteria,
33:56Speaker 4you're gonna end up with a bunch of it in in in your in your product.

34:05Speaker 4this is why endotoxin in peptides
34:07Speaker 4was a real worry for a while. But nowadays, all these peptides are made with solid phase synthesis,
34:14Speaker 4which is has absolutely nothing to do with bacteria.

34:24Speaker 4like, not really necessary. But then
34:27Speaker 4a couple weeks or months ago, I don't know, that they just flew flew it fly by. Pretty much. I know what We started, yeah, we started getting very

34:36Speaker 4results for some of the samples tested. Like, they were severely contaminated
34:40Speaker 4with MHC. Like, not severely enough
34:42Speaker 4because issues to another human.

34:46Speaker 4the people, they actually did send the samples in for endotoxin because they were getting local reactions like swelling,

34:55Speaker 4etcetera, etcetera, which is in line with endotoxin

35:01Speaker 4the results, they seem to confirm their theory.
35:04Speaker 4So I used to say the same thing like that. I think the endotoxin is pretty useless. We just started

35:48Speaker 4when you're looking at stuff like this, you always go by the economics.

36:01Speaker 4I think with with the peptides, NAD plus is a different story that I think is the cheapest to make biosynthetically.

37:33Speaker 4Just that is insane amount of money. Yeah. Right. The sheer amount of samples, I think it was over 100 samples just tested by us to figure out where it is exactly getting introduced and what it might be. Wow. That's awesome. So
37:48Speaker 4so that was that was a pretty difficult Well, that's a question. Figure out. And we were everyone was really happy when when we found out. So even the endotoxin, it might be something very non obvious.
38:00Speaker 4Okay. Yeah. And I I I bet if they could solve it easily, the factory that the factory that had issues with this, if they could solve it easily, they would because Yeah. Of course, they're losing insane amount of money by having a product they cannot sell. Of course. So that's causing issues to their own customers.

38:21Speaker 4there is this 1 that I'm aware of, but I have to admit it's not possible for me to to keep track Of of that many. Yeah. About all the issues we've we've had. We've had our 1st

38:50Speaker 4basically, for the past mod, I'm just trying to keep this all the stuff from falling apart Sure. And people from people people from running away Yeah. As fast as they can. Sure. We we get so much mail that
