0:04Speaker 0Welcome back. It's another episode of the Peptide of the Week.
0:09Speaker 0Now,
0:10Speaker 0we for the last few weeks have been,
0:12Speaker 0we live in Huntington Beach, so we wanted to kind of do some recordings at different beaches and whatnot, but we are getting a lot of comments that people can't hear as well, too windy, blah, blah, blah. So we wanted to sit down and maybe do it a little bit more focused.
0:29Speaker 0And hopefully you can hear us better because that's obviously the objective of what we're trying to do. Educate people
0:36Speaker 0on
0:37Speaker 0peptides, nutrition,
0:38Speaker 0just all around health. My co host Will
0:43Speaker 0Hass, you know him, he,
0:45Speaker 0we both share that love for helping
0:49Speaker 0people get
0:50Speaker 0just healthy and all around, and we're really trying to
0:54Speaker 0cause awareness for just the amazing
0:57Speaker 0qualities
0:58Speaker 0of peptides.
1:00Speaker 0They're really gaining speed and gaining steam for good reason because
1:04Speaker 0they're awesome.
1:06Speaker 0So without ado,
1:07Speaker 0my co host, William Haas. What's up, buddy? What's up, man? What's up?
1:12Speaker 1Glad to be here, kind of.
1:14Speaker 0Right, little different than on the beach, little prettier than little prettier on the beach, but I can hear you better. Okay, good. That's what's important. So this week is a good 1. It's again, 1 of my favorites, 1 I use daily. I love it. It is gonna be 5Amino-1MQ.
1:30Speaker 0It's gonna be a fat burner. You know, 1 of the reasons why I've been taking it and it's in my arsenal right now, but we all wanna hand the microphone over to you. People hear me a lot. So tell me a little bit about
1:40Speaker 0what is it.
1:42Speaker 1Okay,
1:43Speaker 1so I guess I will
1:45Speaker 1work hard to try to give the people and you kind of the most simplified
1:50Speaker 1answer.
1:51Speaker 1So 5mino-1MQ,
1:53Speaker 1it does essentially 2 things.
1:56Speaker 1It's gonna increase your the cellular energy inside of our mitochondria. Mitochondria inside of our cells is kind of the powerhouse of our cells. So it is increasing the
2:06Speaker 1output,
2:08Speaker 1the energy expenditure that our cells can produce, right? And everything starts with our cells. So
2:14Speaker 1it's gonna kind of intensify
2:16Speaker 1everything that we do
2:19Speaker 1and take.
2:21Speaker 1And the 2nd part is it inhibits
2:24Speaker 1NMMT,
2:26Speaker 1it's hard to say,
2:27Speaker 1which
2:28Speaker 1basically is usually
2:30Speaker 1that aids in metabolic pathways.
2:33Speaker 1Essentially, the more NMMT
2:35Speaker 1you have, the worse that you burn fat.
2:39Speaker 1It is always overexpressed in people who are overweight. So inhibiting that
2:44Speaker 1allows our metabolism,
2:46Speaker 1our BMR, to work a whole lot faster, your basal metabolic rate,
2:51Speaker 1and it just boosts your metabolism and makes fat
2:55Speaker 1a whole lot easier to break down.
2:58Speaker 1Suppose
3:02Speaker 1Suppose your fat, like, if you kind here's a good analogy, suppose, is
3:05Speaker 1a block of ice. Your fat's a block of ice. 5 m, 1 MQ basically
3:10Speaker 1chips that down. So now it is
3:13Speaker 0easier to burn off or to shovel out or to melt down instead of the whole thick thing at once. Sure. So it's good for like somebody that's in a cutting stage or obviously people that are overweight. I mean,
3:26Speaker 0have done a lot of reading on it and some of the things that I have kind of come across are just people that have taken it and have taken Retatrutide
3:33Speaker 0that they compare it to it just because of the amazing fat burning qualities. Again, like I said, in 1 of my posts where it's obviously not a GLP-one or a weight loss
3:43Speaker 0peptide like
3:45Speaker 0Retrutide,
3:46Speaker 0but it really does have that ability to burn that fat right off you. I love that about it. Absolutely. Except for
3:55Speaker 1the appetite suppression.
3:56Speaker 0Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I'm saying. It's not a deal people don't work for weight loss, but it does that have that people that have taken both that they, you know, it really does have that ability to burn that fat right off. Another thing that, 1 of the things that I love about it is I get questions and DMs all the time on
4:14Speaker 0everybody's tired. Everybody's
4:16Speaker 0tired out there. The food is crap. You know, a lot of guys still have low testosterone,
4:21Speaker 0whatever, right? It's yielding just tired people. That's why people are drinking so many energy drinks, all that. 1 of the things that I tell people when they say, Is there a peptide that's gonna really help boost energy?
4:32Speaker 0This is 1 of them. Flavamino,
4:34Speaker 0it's definitely 1 that's gonna help with energy if you're feeling sluggish. Would you agree? I would. It's not going- it is with kind of ATP and intracellular energy.
4:44Speaker 1So
4:46Speaker 1you will have a lot better endurance. You'll have better physical energy. It's
4:51Speaker 1not like caffeine energy, though. It's
4:54Speaker 1not brain
4:55Speaker 1wake up and jittery.
4:56Speaker 0Yeah, right. I mean, that's the thing. Everybody's chasing,
5:01Speaker 0feeling like like crap with what? Coffee, with energy drinks. And I mean, I used to be that same way. Would drink energy drinks all day and I've cut those out of my life, you know? And this is, like you said, it's cellular energy where you just feel good. Another thing that that 5 amino is good at is fatigue after a workout because of the cellular energy. But you don't get tired when you're done. It's going to help with some of that stuff. It's going to help with that. It's going to help with, I mean, drink
5:28Speaker 1your protein, eat your protein, supplement with like glutamine.
5:32Speaker 1Is increasing
5:33Speaker 1that energy to do whatever your body's telling it to do. Right? So
5:37Speaker 1after the workout,
5:39Speaker 1you take those building blocks, which is protein,
5:42Speaker 1and it's going to actually
5:44Speaker 1do a lot better at building muscle too, because those cells are working harder.
5:48Speaker 0Brain function,
5:50Speaker 0to
5:51Speaker 0it's help with focus.
5:54Speaker 0That's 1 of the things that I like about it. Do you agree with that?
5:59Speaker 1I've been taking it and I sure isn't hurting with-
6:03Speaker 1sure isn't hurting my function. But to be honest, I haven't noticed a marked improvement
6:08Speaker 0in that. I feel like I have-
6:11Speaker 0I know that, what would you say
6:13Speaker 0Let's talk about who
6:16Speaker 0would benefit from it most. That's kind of an easy question, I think, but for anybody that has that in their mind, they're listening, who do you think is gonna be the right person for it? Right. It is
6:32Speaker 1going to be helped
6:33Speaker 1anybody who wants to lose weight. Okay. Endurance
6:36Speaker 1it's
6:37Speaker 1going to increase your ATP, which
6:40Speaker 1makes you
6:42Speaker 1stronger,
6:43Speaker 1faster, and stronger for longer.
6:45Speaker 1And anybody who wants to lose weight and especially help yourself out, folks, like it's not for the person who wants to lose weight but wants to do nothing about it. If you are working out, exercising and eating, right? Absolutely.
6:57Speaker 1Supplement with it and it will help
7:00Speaker 1those gains and losses.
7:03Speaker 0Yeah, it's going to help with 1 of the things that's going to burn fat, keep muscle. That's another reason why people will compare it to Retatrutide, it burns fat, but you keep muscle. So if you're in a cut, if you're
7:14Speaker 0in a calorie deficit and that's what you're trying to lean out,
7:17Speaker 0it's perfect for that.
7:19Speaker 0Absolutely. Athletes, endurance. Yeah,
7:21Speaker 0so, okay, so let's go on the flip side of that. Now let's talk about the other side.
7:26Speaker 0Pretty much, I'll answer my own question on that too, just to throw my 2¢ in for whatever it's worth. Who is it best for? Anybody. I mean, unless you just want to take it and just sit on the couch. Mean, those types of people, whatever, it's not a miracle drug, it's not a miracle compound.
7:41Speaker 0But anybody
7:42Speaker 0that is active, anybody that is
7:45Speaker 0just seeking better health, obviously, 5Amino is going to work. So let's talk about the flip side.
7:50Speaker 0Any
7:53Speaker 0type of negative effects of it? Is there any type of things that will yield from it on a negative basis? Is there anybody that shouldn't take it? I mean,
8:02Speaker 1like most peptides, this is the beauty of them is
8:06Speaker 1there's no real negative effects to it. There really isn't.
8:10Speaker 1We
8:12Speaker 1do build a tolerance, I guess. Hey, if you wanna be on 5Amino-1MQ
8:15Speaker 1constantly and forever, then you shouldn't because we do
8:19Speaker 1we build the tolerance and it stops working after some time. How long would you say? Let's talk about I would say maybe 4 to 6 weeks. I would run it for 4 to 6 weeks and then
8:30Speaker 1take a break,
8:31Speaker 1give yourself a break a couple of weeks and then go back on it. I think that with these peptides,
8:37Speaker 1what's fun is there is so many and there is very little side effects.
8:42Speaker 1You can run 5 minute on Q 4 to 6 weeks. When it's break time for that, just add
8:48Speaker 1in something else. In like a sloop or I mean,
8:52Speaker 1there's a bunch of other things and do the same thing, right? Yeah. You can
8:56Speaker 0be running something all the time and get benefits from it all the time. Yeah, I mean, that's funny because I'm actually gonna drop a post on that because,
9:04Speaker 0I mean, I'm learning now by just trying so many different peptides and just have the ability, you know, I mean, they're at our office, at our fingertips. It's like a kid in a candy store. I mean, they're so amazing for us. But what I try to do now
9:17Speaker 0with more and being more seasoned in it is really try to change my stack every 30, maybe 45 days. I mean, it's always contingent upon
9:27Speaker 0objectives. But if it's something where you're really trying to kind of gain a little bit more lean muscle, if you're really trying to gain or burn more fat, you really can just use these peptides together
9:39Speaker 0and use, like you said, if
9:41Speaker 0your body gets used to it after 30 days, right, then you prepare and you get ready and you can literally place 1 right in place of it, an AOD or something like that right in place of it that's gonna fit perfectly.
9:53Speaker 1Exactly. And also, I
9:55Speaker 1would probably run it for 6 weeks because
9:57Speaker 15AMEO also doesn't
10:01Speaker 1kick in right away.
10:03Speaker 1Would say, you know, about 2 weeks in, a week and 0.5 is when you're gonna start
10:08Speaker 1feeling and noticing and noticing the effects to the degree that you work out and help yourself out. Right? We're gonna see more
10:16Speaker 1more results the harder you that you work.
10:20Speaker 1You suppose, you know, 1 in
10:23Speaker 1some cases,
10:24Speaker 1some like GI tract upsetting
10:28Speaker 1has been experienced
10:29Speaker 1by people.
10:31Speaker 1And mostly that's because your metabolism speed up. So food that you eat is gonna go through you a lot faster, right? Your body's just consuming it and getting rid of the waste. So-
10:42Speaker 0Let's talk about when
10:45Speaker 0people should take it. When is the best time to take it? As with most peptides
10:51Speaker 1in a fasted state,
10:53Speaker 1okay,
10:54Speaker 1and when your insulin is not going off.
11:00Speaker 1So And usually in the morning, guys, right, wake up unless you or you or everybody else who fasts,
11:06Speaker 1which I do at times, but not like you.
11:11Speaker 1Then you can take it, but I would say, in the morning, take it the morning, take it 1st thing in the morning before workout. Right? Hey, it's gonna work. It's gonna it's gonna burn fat better. It's gonna shut off fat, break it down better.
11:22Speaker 0That's what I got. Yeah. Yeah. So 1st thing in the morning for sure. But there are some that you they know that are better to take a night. GHKCu, I it before I mean, there are some. Some. There
11:32Speaker 0the protocols definitely. But I get that question all the time, because everybody knows me in regards to I'm the fasting guy. So do I take my peptides
11:42Speaker 0fasted? And I'm like, Absolutely. That's
11:44Speaker 0time to take them. You know what I mean? Most of them. Most of them, right. So, okay, that's awesome. So let's talk really quickly about dosages for people that are interested in purchasing them. If they've done the research and done the education part and they want to purchase these research products,
12:03Speaker 0what would you say in regards to dosages would be the best way to go? For
12:11Speaker 1the injectable peptide,
12:12Speaker 1I would, I guess there is a range, but between 2 50 micrograms on the low end, I wouldn't take any less than that, and 1000 micrograms on the high end.
12:22Speaker 1I'd say average kind of aiming for maybe 500 micrograms
12:27Speaker 0a day. Work your way up, start low, start low.
12:30Speaker 1Work your way up, start low.
12:32Speaker 1You know, as you progress throughout those 6 weeks, you probably want to start doing a bit more because we build a tolerance and so the same amount is going to stop
12:42Speaker 1working as well. And
12:45Speaker 1then there is an oral version out. It
12:48Speaker 1works. Is 1 of the few that
12:50Speaker 1there is an oral version. The bioavailability
12:54Speaker 1isn't as great as the injectable peptide, it's
12:58Speaker 1still absolutely worth taking. Usually,
13:00Speaker 1you'll see those pills coming in at about 50 mg per capsule.
13:06Speaker 1Would say so I wouldn't take anything less than 50, but
13:09Speaker 1you can go from 50 mg to 200 mg
13:13Speaker 1daily.
13:15Speaker 01 Well,
13:17Speaker 0kind of like we talked about last week with
13:20Speaker 0SLU-one
13:22Speaker 0the ones that actually the pill form actually is kind of comparable. It's all injections always probably gonna a little bit better no matter what. But 5Amino is 1 of the ones that definitely hold some weight. I would actually take the pill form. There's a lot of them that just I see them being sold online and I would never buy them just because I don't think that they're gonna work. Right. 5Amino would work. 5Amino, I would buy and I would take. It would work.
13:46Speaker 15Amino is very expensive in the pill form.
13:49Speaker 1And really, it's just, I guess, cost prohibitive, right?
13:53Speaker 0Wanna be taking- If For the people that aren't willing to and they're just too scared of needles or whatever, know, no judgment here.
14:00Speaker 0That's
14:02Speaker 01 of the ones that you can take to get these benefits and you don't have to inject and it actually will work. It will work. It will work. Yep. Absolutely.
14:10Speaker 0So I wanna talk about, so 1 of the things with peptides,
14:13Speaker 0plural,
14:15Speaker 0is
14:16Speaker 0the power to stack them in like
14:20Speaker 0I guess, synergistic
14:21Speaker 0order, like, for example. And that's what I love about them. That's just for me and just being so into this type of stuff is running stacks, so to speak,
14:31Speaker 0of ones that are just going to maximize each other, you know, and really, really boost each other well. So let's talk about this because there's a couple that if you run alongside this, just will just
14:45Speaker 0really work well together. Let's tap into that. What would you say in regards to that? So
14:51Speaker 1this is cool. This 1 does really stack well with a few it stacks well with a lot of things. Yeah. Because again, it just it boosts the cellular energy production. Right? Yeah. It starts with that, so everything's gonna work better. It's similar to some like Provirin,
15:05Speaker 1which will
15:06Speaker 1Perfect. Make
15:07Speaker 1everything Enhance everything. Work Yeah. Yeah. Better because it's clearing off that receptor. But different
15:14Speaker 1story for maybe not. So
15:18Speaker 1but basically okay. So what is the stack? Well, the the 2 things that come out is l carnitine
15:24Speaker 1and, like, injectable L carnitine is what I would use there. L carnitine is is a cool compound. It essentially, like, prioritizes
15:33Speaker 1fatty acids over
15:37Speaker 1Glucose. Over sugar and muscle, right,
15:40Speaker 1for burning for burning fat. So it says, hey, where's all the fat on your body? And it shoves those into the cells to be burnt. Perfect. So
15:49Speaker 1you have something like that that is now overriding your body's function of wanting to burn
15:55Speaker 1carbs and muscle 1st, right? Well, it wants to burn carbs 1st and then
16:00Speaker 1kind of fat and muscle equally, right? It puts fat to the front of the line, shoves it in there, now
16:07Speaker 15 meter-1MQ
16:08Speaker 1is inhibiting the NMT,
16:10Speaker 1so it's breaking down that fat twice as fast and the cell is working
16:16Speaker 1twice as well to actually
16:18Speaker 1get the fat out. So that thing, that's awesome. I mean, those 2 is kind of like,
16:24Speaker 1don't know if you should do them together,
16:26Speaker 1right? There is a single- L carnitine, perfect. L carnitine. That's a great 1. The other 1 is NAD plus. NAD plus is
16:33Speaker 1really popular nowadays and for good reason. Aging. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it
16:38Speaker 1does a whole bunch of things, but
16:41Speaker 1it is also responsible for increasing ATP. I know for a fact that
16:45Speaker 1everybody I speak to, including myself, they've started taking NAD and they feel energy.
16:52Speaker 1Heck, they
16:54Speaker 1look better, right? It is. So what NAD is doing is it is working hard to kind of rebuild your DNA, rebuild your like gene, you know,
17:05Speaker 1your DNA structure. So, and that all starts your cells, right? So it's working harder to rebuild the integrity
17:12Speaker 1of
17:13Speaker 1your cells. And so now guess what?
17:16Speaker 1The
17:17Speaker 1powerhouse of the cell has more energy to do what NAD wants it to do.
17:22Speaker 1And it's just gonna synergistically
17:24Speaker 0enhance the NAD as well, every function. Yeah, it's kind of like, as you say this, I was thinking, as you say that, and I've never thought about NAD from this perspective, but I
17:34Speaker 0love NAD, I take it and I love it, you know, and there's a reason why so many people, movie stars are taking it with HGH, all that stuff, because it really works well. Anti aging
17:43Speaker 0it does helps fix with the DNA, blah, blah, blah. But it's kind of like
17:48Speaker 0autophagy when fast and you get to a certain fasting period and your dead cells die off, but this starts to repair those cells and give you that energy. So I get it, all 3 of these ran together
18:01Speaker 0just really would I would imagine
18:04Speaker 0I just started taking L-twenty for the 1st time, so I can't give a whole lot of 2¢ on how I feel when I ran it because I just started it, but just doing kind of some research on all this stuff.
18:15Speaker 0I think this is really just a platform. These 3 have just, man, I think it's gonna be amazing. It really is. Energy level skyrocketing,
18:22Speaker 0again, brain function,
18:24Speaker 0everything just firing.
18:25Speaker 0Repair when you're done, less
18:28Speaker 0fatigue again when you are done working out, that's huge for people. Using fat to burn energy, whoo! Yeah, it for I mean, this is what you are trying to achieve, right? Well, what the ketogenic carnivore diet
18:41Speaker 1is trying to achieve is
18:43Speaker 1making our body's primary
18:45Speaker 1source of energy be fat. And L carnitine is
18:49Speaker 1a cheating way to do that. Now, it's not going to do it at the same ability that actually being
18:55Speaker 1in ketosis is,
18:59Speaker 1It helps. It helps and it'll help, it'll really help if you actually are Stack it. On the carb core diet, and it'll help if you're not.
19:08Speaker 0I mean, that's the beauty of peptides,
19:10Speaker 0you know,
19:12Speaker 0and that's why I think, you know, not speaking for you, but I know you well, and we've had numerous conversations
19:17Speaker 0why we love this and why we have started doing this and why we started a peptide company and doing this is just educating people on
19:25Speaker 0these amazing qualities. They are truly, truly so amazing because they're chains of amino acids, and they're really just going to enhance so many things in our body on such a cellular level health wise.
19:37Speaker 0But let's circle back around. You have to eat right.
19:41Speaker 0You base
19:42Speaker 0if you base and eat a good diet, it doesn't need to be a ketogenic diet,
19:47Speaker 0whole food diet, just a healthy diet. Cut out crap. Cut out the Doritos.
19:51Speaker 0Just eat a healthy diet and exercise.
19:54Speaker 0Even if you play basketball, you don't have to lift weights like us. You
19:58Speaker 0are going to use these peptides and they are going to enhance
20:02Speaker 0your life like you wouldn't believe. Trust me. Trust me. They're amazing. I really Yes. I challenge
20:09Speaker 1anybody to take all 3 of those and tell me that you do not see
20:14Speaker 1very positive change.
20:18Speaker 1Yeah, it's like a guarantee
20:20Speaker 1to work.
20:21Speaker 1I love it, man. Now don't just sit back and eat Doritos all day.
20:25Speaker 0Don't eat Doritos anyways. Doritos. Don't eat Doritos anyway.
20:28Speaker 1Yeah, man, you know, and
20:31Speaker 1I do think we should lift weights.
20:34Speaker 1It's
20:35Speaker 1I do think you should lift weights and not just play basketball. I like playing basketball too, but you're gonna burn more fat by by lifting weights than you are running around. And maybe we can explain that later, but
20:45Speaker 1be healthy folks. Absolutely, do what makes you feel do what makes you feel good and make you happy. We're all
20:52Speaker 1healthy and happier
20:54Speaker 0for it. Lifestyle, man. We preach that here and we preach it just so heavily where it's like, this is a lifestyle, man. I mean, I'm going to be 48 in a month
21:03Speaker 0and I feel better than I did when I was 28. I just do, you know what I mean? I'm obviously a lot more health conscious and I'm very strict on diet and stuff, but
21:11Speaker 0for anybody listening,
21:13Speaker 0is just striking a chord.
21:16Speaker 0Will and I have studied this stuff.
21:19Speaker 0When you find something that works for you, like I like ketogenic diets or carnivore type diets, that works for me, but I've tried them all. So try what works for you and
21:28Speaker 0just start to like learn what works best for you. If it's tracking macros, awesome. I didn't like that, but I've done it. It
21:36Speaker 0doesn't matter when you get the snowball
21:38Speaker 0of
21:39Speaker 0bettering yourself, rolling down a hill, it picks up steam, and you can feel great. You don't have to feel like man.
21:48Speaker 0You can feel amazing. You can wake up feeling vigor and stuff like you used to. It's there. You just gotta work for it. Everything you want, everything. It's on the other side of hard work, man. You gotta study it, you gotta implement,
22:00Speaker 0and
22:01Speaker 0But yeah, man. So that's great, man. I enjoyed it, man. We obviously went a little longer than we planned.
22:06Speaker 015 minutes is what we're at, but man, this was a good 1. This was a good 1, man. For anybody listening,
22:12Speaker 0as we wrap this up, let us know if you like this better. I think I liked it better because I can hear him better. We were trying to do it on cool beaches and stuff like that, but everything's a learning experience,
22:22Speaker 0And the most important part isn't like seeing us,
22:25Speaker 0it's hearing us and kind of hearing the message. So leave us some comments
