It's another episode of the Peptide of the Week. 0:09 Speaker 0: Now, 0:10 Speaker 0: we for the last few weeks have been, 0:12 Speaker 0: we live in Huntington Beach, so we wanted to kind of do some recordings at different beaches and whatnot, but we are getting a lot of comments that people can't hear as well, too windy, blah, blah, blah. So we wanted to sit down and maybe do it a little bit more focused. 0:29 Speaker 0: And hopefully you can hear us better because that's obviously the objective of what we're trying to do. Educate people 0:36 Speaker 0: on 0:37 Speaker 0: peptides, nutrition, 0:38 Speaker 0: just all around health. My co host Will 0:43 Speaker 0: Hass, you know him, he, 0:45 Speaker 0: we both share that love for helping 0:49 Speaker 0: people get 0:50 Speaker 0: just healthy and all around, and we're really trying to 0:54 Speaker 0: cause awareness for just the amazing 0:57 Speaker 0: qualities 0:58 Speaker 0: of peptides. 1:00 Speaker 0: They're really gaining speed and gaining steam for good reason because 1:04 Speaker 0: they're awesome. 1:06 Speaker 0: So without ado, 1:07 Speaker 0: my co host, William Haas. What's up, buddy? What's up, man? What's up? 1:12 Speaker 1: Glad to be here, kind of. 1:14 Speaker 0: Right, little different than on the beach, little prettier than little prettier on the beach, but I can hear you better. Okay, good. That's what's important. So this week is a good 1. It's again, 1 of my favorites, 1 I use daily. I love it. It is gonna be 5Amino-1MQ. 1:30 Speaker 0: It's gonna be a fat burner. You know, 1 of the reasons why I've been taking it and it's in my arsenal right now, but we all wanna hand the microphone over to you. People hear me a lot. So tell me a little bit about 1:40 Speaker 0: what is it. 1:42 Speaker 1: Okay, 1:43 Speaker 1: so I guess I will 1:45 Speaker 1: work hard to try to give the people and you kind of the most simplified 1:50 Speaker 1: answer. 1:51 Speaker 1: So 5mino-1MQ, 1:53 Speaker 1: it does essentially 2 things. 1:56 Speaker 1: It's gonna increase your the cellular energy inside of our mitochondria. Mitochondria inside of our cells is kind of the powerhouse of our cells. So it is increasing the 2:06 Speaker 1: output, 2:08 Speaker 1: the energy expenditure that our cells can produce, right? And everything starts with our cells. So 2:14 Speaker 1: it's gonna kind of intensify 2:16 Speaker 1: everything that we do 2:19 Speaker 1: and take. 2:21 Speaker 1: And the 2nd part is it inhibits 2:24 Speaker 1: NMMT, 2:26 Speaker 1: it's hard to say, 2:27 Speaker 1: which 2:28 Speaker 1: basically is usually 2:30 Speaker 1: that aids in metabolic pathways. 2:33 Speaker 1: Essentially, the more NMMT 2:35 Speaker 1: you have, the worse that you burn fat. 2:39 Speaker 1: It is always overexpressed in people who are overweight. So inhibiting that 2:44 Speaker 1: allows our metabolism, 2:46 Speaker 1: our BMR, to work a whole lot faster, your basal metabolic rate, 2:51 Speaker 1: and it just boosts your metabolism and makes fat 2:55 Speaker 1: a whole lot easier to break down. 2:58 Speaker 1: Suppose 3:02 Speaker 1: Suppose your fat, like, if you kind here's a good analogy, suppose, is 3:05 Speaker 1: a block of ice. Your fat's a block of ice. 5 m, 1 MQ basically 3:10 Speaker 1: chips that down. So now it is 3:13 Speaker 0: easier to burn off or to shovel out or to melt down instead of the whole thick thing at once. Sure. So it's good for like somebody that's in a cutting stage or obviously people that are overweight. I mean, 3:26 Speaker 0: have done a lot of reading on it and some of the things that I have kind of come across are just people that have taken it and have taken Retatrutide 3:33 Speaker 0: that they compare it to it just because of the amazing fat burning qualities. Again, like I said, in 1 of my posts where it's obviously not a GLP-one or a weight loss 3:43 Speaker 0: peptide like 3:45 Speaker 0: Retrutide, 3:46 Speaker 0: but it really does have that ability to burn that fat right off you. I love that about it. Absolutely. Except for 3:55 Speaker 1: the appetite suppression. 3:56 Speaker 0: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I'm saying. It's not a deal people don't work for weight loss, but it does that have that people that have taken both that they, you know, it really does have that ability to burn that fat right off. Another thing that, 1 of the things that I love about it is I get questions and DMs all the time on 4:14 Speaker 0: everybody's tired. Everybody's 4:16 Speaker 0: tired out there. The food is crap. You know, a lot of guys still have low testosterone, 4:21 Speaker 0: whatever, right? It's yielding just tired people. That's why people are drinking so many energy drinks, all that. 1 of the things that I tell people when they say, Is there a peptide that's gonna really help boost energy? 4:32 Speaker 0: This is 1 of them. Flavamino, 4:34 Speaker 0: it's definitely 1 that's gonna help with energy if you're feeling sluggish. Would you agree? I would. It's not going- it is with kind of ATP and intracellular energy. 4:44 Speaker 1: So 4:46 Speaker 1: you will have a lot better endurance. You'll have better physical energy. It's 4:51 Speaker 1: not like caffeine energy, though. It's 4:54 Speaker 1: not brain 4:55 Speaker 1: wake up and jittery. 4:56 Speaker 0: Yeah, right. I mean, that's the thing. Everybody's chasing, 5:01 Speaker 0: feeling like like crap with what? Coffee, with energy drinks. And I mean, I used to be that same way. Would drink energy drinks all day and I've cut those out of my life, you know? And this is, like you said, it's cellular energy where you just feel good. Another thing that that 5 amino is good at is fatigue after a workout because of the cellular energy. But you don't get tired when you're done. It's going to help with some of that stuff. It's going to help with that. It's going to help with, I mean, drink 5:28 Speaker 1: your protein, eat your protein, supplement with like glutamine. 5:32 Speaker 1: Is increasing 5:33 Speaker 1: that energy to do whatever your body's telling it to do. Right? So 5:37 Speaker 1: after the workout, 5:39 Speaker 1: you take those building blocks, which is protein, 5:42 Speaker 1: and it's going to actually 5:44 Speaker 1: do a lot better at building muscle too, because those cells are working harder. 5:48 Speaker 0: Brain function, 5:50 Speaker 0: to 5:51 Speaker 0: it's help with focus. 5:54 Speaker 0: That's 1 of the things that I like about it. Do you agree with that? 5:59 Speaker 1: I've been taking it and I sure isn't hurting with- 6:03 Speaker 1: sure isn't hurting my function. But to be honest, I haven't noticed a marked improvement 6:08 Speaker 0: in that. I feel like I have- 6:11 Speaker 0: I know that, what would you say 6:13 Speaker 0: Let's talk about who 6:16 Speaker 0: would benefit from it most. That's kind of an easy question, I think, but for anybody that has that in their mind, they're listening, who do you think is gonna be the right person for it? Right. It is 6:32 Speaker 1: going to be helped 6:33 Speaker 1: anybody who wants to lose weight. Okay. Endurance 6:36 Speaker 1: it's 6:37 Speaker 1: going to increase your ATP, which 6:40 Speaker 1: makes you 6:42 Speaker 1: stronger, 6:43 Speaker 1: faster, and stronger for longer. 6:45 Speaker 1: And anybody who wants to lose weight and especially help yourself out, folks, like it's not for the person who wants to lose weight but wants to do nothing about it. If you are working out, exercising and eating, right? Absolutely. 6:57 Speaker 1: Supplement with it and it will help 7:00 Speaker 1: those gains and losses. 7:03 Speaker 0: Yeah, it's going to help with 1 of the things that's going to burn fat, keep muscle. That's another reason why people will compare it to Retatrutide, it burns fat, but you keep muscle. So if you're in a cut, if you're 7:14 Speaker 0: in a calorie deficit and that's what you're trying to lean out, 7:17 Speaker 0: it's perfect for that. 7:19 Speaker 0: Absolutely. Athletes, endurance. Yeah, 7:21 Speaker 0: so, okay, so let's go on the flip side of that. Now let's talk about the other side. 7:26 Speaker 0: Pretty much, I'll answer my own question on that too, just to throw my 2¢ in for whatever it's worth. Who is it best for? Anybody. I mean, unless you just want to take it and just sit on the couch. Mean, those types of people, whatever, it's not a miracle drug, it's not a miracle compound. 7:41 Speaker 0: But anybody 7:42 Speaker 0: that is active, anybody that is 7:45 Speaker 0: just seeking better health, obviously, 5Amino is going to work. So let's talk about the flip side. 7:50 Speaker 0: Any 7:53 Speaker 0: type of negative effects of it? Is there any type of things that will yield from it on a negative basis? Is there anybody that shouldn't take it? I mean, 8:02 Speaker 1: like most peptides, this is the beauty of them is 8:06 Speaker 1: there's no real negative effects to it. There really isn't. 8:10 Speaker 1: We 8:12 Speaker 1: do build a tolerance, I guess. Hey, if you wanna be on 5Amino-1MQ 8:15 Speaker 1: constantly and forever, then you shouldn't because we do 8:19 Speaker 1: we build the tolerance and it stops working after some time. How long would you say? Let's talk about I would say maybe 4 to 6 weeks. I would run it for 4 to 6 weeks and then 8:30 Speaker 1: take a break, 8:31 Speaker 1: give yourself a break a couple of weeks and then go back on it. I think that with these peptides, 8:37 Speaker 1: what's fun is there is so many and there is very little side effects. 8:42 Speaker 1: You can run 5 minute on Q 4 to 6 weeks. When it's break time for that, just add 8:48 Speaker 1: in something else. In like a sloop or I mean, 8:52 Speaker 1: there's a bunch of other things and do the same thing, right? Yeah. You can 8:56 Speaker 0: be running something all the time and get benefits from it all the time. Yeah, I mean, that's funny because I'm actually gonna drop a post on that because, 9:04 Speaker 0: I mean, I'm learning now by just trying so many different peptides and just have the ability, you know, I mean, they're at our office, at our fingertips. It's like a kid in a candy store. I mean, they're so amazing for us. But what I try to do now 9:17 Speaker 0: with more and being more seasoned in it is really try to change my stack every 30, maybe 45 days. I mean, it's always contingent upon 9:27 Speaker 0: objectives. But if it's something where you're really trying to kind of gain a little bit more lean muscle, if you're really trying to gain or burn more fat, you really can just use these peptides together 9:39 Speaker 0: and use, like you said, if 9:41 Speaker 0: your body gets used to it after 30 days, right, then you prepare and you get ready and you can literally place 1 right in place of it, an AOD or something like that right in place of it that's gonna fit perfectly. 9:53 Speaker 1: Exactly. And also, I 9:55 Speaker 1: would probably run it for 6 weeks because 9:57 Speaker 1: 5AMEO also doesn't 10:01 Speaker 1: kick in right away. 10:03 Speaker 1: Would say, you know, about 2 weeks in, a week and 0.5 is when you're gonna start 10:08 Speaker 1: feeling and noticing and noticing the effects to the degree that you work out and help yourself out. Right? We're gonna see more 10:16 Speaker 1: more results the harder you that you work. 10:20 Speaker 1: You suppose, you know, 1 in 10:23 Speaker 1: some cases, 10:24 Speaker 1: some like GI tract upsetting 10:28 Speaker 1: has been experienced 10:29 Speaker 1: by people. 10:31 Speaker 1: And mostly that's because your metabolism speed up. So food that you eat is gonna go through you a lot faster, right? Your body's just consuming it and getting rid of the waste. So- 10:42 Speaker 0: Let's talk about when 10:45 Speaker 0: people should take it. When is the best time to take it? As with most peptides 10:51 Speaker 1: in a fasted state, 10:53 Speaker 1: okay, 10:54 Speaker 1: and when your insulin is not going off. 11:00 Speaker 1: So And usually in the morning, guys, right, wake up unless you or you or everybody else who fasts, 11:06 Speaker 1: which I do at times, but not like you. 11:11 Speaker 1: Then you can take it, but I would say, in the morning, take it the morning, take it 1st thing in the morning before workout. Right? Hey, it's gonna work. It's gonna it's gonna burn fat better. It's gonna shut off fat, break it down better. 11:22 Speaker 0: That's what I got. Yeah. Yeah. So 1st thing in the morning for sure. But there are some that you they know that are better to take a night. GHKCu, I it before I mean, there are some. Some. There 11:32 Speaker 0: the protocols definitely. But I get that question all the time, because everybody knows me in regards to I'm the fasting guy. So do I take my peptides 11:42 Speaker 0: fasted? And I'm like, Absolutely. That's 11:44 Speaker 0: time to take them. You know what I mean? Most of them. Most of them, right. So, okay, that's awesome. So let's talk really quickly about dosages for people that are interested in purchasing them. If they've done the research and done the education part and they want to purchase these research products, 12:03 Speaker 0: what would you say in regards to dosages would be the best way to go? For 12:11 Speaker 1: the injectable peptide, 12:12 Speaker 1: I would, I guess there is a range, but between 2 50 micrograms on the low end, I wouldn't take any less than that, and 1000 micrograms on the high end. 12:22 Speaker 1: I'd say average kind of aiming for maybe 500 micrograms 12:27 Speaker 0: a day. Work your way up, start low, start low. 12:30 Speaker 1: Work your way up, start low. 12:32 Speaker 1: You know, as you progress throughout those 6 weeks, you probably want to start doing a bit more because we build a tolerance and so the same amount is going to stop 12:42 Speaker 1: working as well. And 12:45 Speaker 1: then there is an oral version out. It 12:48 Speaker 1: works. Is 1 of the few that 12:50 Speaker 1: there is an oral version. The bioavailability 12:54 Speaker 1: isn't as great as the injectable peptide, it's 12:58 Speaker 1: still absolutely worth taking. Usually, 13:00 Speaker 1: you'll see those pills coming in at about 50 mg per capsule. 13:06 Speaker 1: Would say so I wouldn't take anything less than 50, but 13:09 Speaker 1: you can go from 50 mg to 200 mg 13:13 Speaker 1: daily. 13:15 Speaker 0: 1 Well, 13:17 Speaker 0: kind of like we talked about last week with 13:20 Speaker 0: SLU-one 13:22 Speaker 0: the ones that actually the pill form actually is kind of comparable. It's all injections always probably gonna a little bit better no matter what. But 5Amino is 1 of the ones that definitely hold some weight. I would actually take the pill form. There's a lot of them that just I see them being sold online and I would never buy them just because I don't think that they're gonna work. Right. 5Amino would work. 5Amino, I would buy and I would take. It would work. 13:46 Speaker 1: 5Amino is very expensive in the pill form. 13:49 Speaker 1: And really, it's just, I guess, cost prohibitive, right? 13:53 Speaker 0: Wanna be taking- If For the people that aren't willing to and they're just too scared of needles or whatever, know, no judgment here. 14:00 Speaker 0: That's 14:02 Speaker 0: 1 of the ones that you can take to get these benefits and you don't have to inject and it actually will work. It will work. It will work. Yep. Absolutely. 14:10 Speaker 0: So I wanna talk about, so 1 of the things with peptides, 14:13 Speaker 0: plural, 14:15 Speaker 0: is 14:16 Speaker 0: the power to stack them in like 14:20 Speaker 0: I guess, synergistic 14:21 Speaker 0: order, like, for example. And that's what I love about them. That's just for me and just being so into this type of stuff is running stacks, so to speak, 14:31 Speaker 0: of ones that are just going to maximize each other, you know, and really, really boost each other well. So let's talk about this because there's a couple that if you run alongside this, just will just 14:45 Speaker 0: really work well together. Let's tap into that. What would you say in regards to that? So 14:51 Speaker 1: this is cool. This 1 does really stack well with a few it stacks well with a lot of things. Yeah. Because again, it just it boosts the cellular energy production. Right? Yeah. It starts with that, so everything's gonna work better. It's similar to some like Provirin, 15:05 Speaker 1: which will 15:06 Speaker 1: Perfect. Make 15:07 Speaker 1: everything Enhance everything. Work Yeah. Yeah. Better because it's clearing off that receptor. But different 15:14 Speaker 1: story for maybe not. So 15:18 Speaker 1: but basically okay. So what is the stack? Well, the the 2 things that come out is l carnitine 15:24 Speaker 1: and, like, injectable L carnitine is what I would use there. L carnitine is is a cool compound. It essentially, like, prioritizes 15:33 Speaker 1: fatty acids over 15:37 Speaker 1: Glucose. Over sugar and muscle, right, 15:40 Speaker 1: for burning for burning fat. So it says, hey, where's all the fat on your body? And it shoves those into the cells to be burnt. Perfect. So 15:49 Speaker 1: you have something like that that is now overriding your body's function of wanting to burn 15:55 Speaker 1: carbs and muscle 1st, right? Well, it wants to burn carbs 1st and then 16:00 Speaker 1: kind of fat and muscle equally, right? It puts fat to the front of the line, shoves it in there, now 16:07 Speaker 1: 5 meter-1MQ 16:08 Speaker 1: is inhibiting the NMT, 16:10 Speaker 1: so it's breaking down that fat twice as fast and the cell is working 16:16 Speaker 1: twice as well to actually 16:18 Speaker 1: get the fat out. So that thing, that's awesome. I mean, those 2 is kind of like, 16:24 Speaker 1: don't know if you should do them together, 16:26 Speaker 1: right? There is a single- L carnitine, perfect. L carnitine. That's a great 1. The other 1 is NAD plus. NAD plus is 16:33 Speaker 1: really popular nowadays and for good reason. Aging. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it 16:38 Speaker 1: does a whole bunch of things, but 16:41 Speaker 1: it is also responsible for increasing ATP. I know for a fact that 16:45 Speaker 1: everybody I speak to, including myself, they've started taking NAD and they feel energy. 16:52 Speaker 1: Heck, they 16:54 Speaker 1: look better, right? It is. So what NAD is doing is it is working hard to kind of rebuild your DNA, rebuild your like gene, you know, 17:05 Speaker 1: your DNA structure. So, and that all starts your cells, right? So it's working harder to rebuild the integrity 17:12 Speaker 1: of 17:13 Speaker 1: your cells. And so now guess what? 17:16 Speaker 1: The 17:17 Speaker 1: powerhouse of the cell has more energy to do what NAD wants it to do. 17:22 Speaker 1: And it's just gonna synergistically 17:24 Speaker 0: enhance the NAD as well, every function. Yeah, it's kind of like, as you say this, I was thinking, as you say that, and I've never thought about NAD from this perspective, but I 17:34 Speaker 0: love NAD, I take it and I love it, you know, and there's a reason why so many people, movie stars are taking it with HGH, all that stuff, because it really works well. Anti aging 17:43 Speaker 0: it does helps fix with the DNA, blah, blah, blah. But it's kind of like 17:48 Speaker 0: autophagy when fast and you get to a certain fasting period and your dead cells die off, but this starts to repair those cells and give you that energy. So I get it, all 3 of these ran together 18:01 Speaker 0: just really would I would imagine 18:04 Speaker 0: I just started taking L-twenty for the 1st time, so I can't give a whole lot of 2¢ on how I feel when I ran it because I just started it, but just doing kind of some research on all this stuff. 18:15 Speaker 0: I think this is really just a platform. These 3 have just, man, I think it's gonna be amazing. It really is. Energy level skyrocketing, 18:22 Speaker 0: again, brain function, 18:24 Speaker 0: everything just firing. 18:25 Speaker 0: Repair when you're done, less 18:28 Speaker 0: fatigue again when you are done working out, that's huge for people. Using fat to burn energy, whoo! Yeah, it for I mean, this is what you are trying to achieve, right? Well, what the ketogenic carnivore diet 18:41 Speaker 1: is trying to achieve is 18:43 Speaker 1: making our body's primary 18:45 Speaker 1: source of energy be fat. And L carnitine is 18:49 Speaker 1: a cheating way to do that. Now, it's not going to do it at the same ability that actually being 18:55 Speaker 1: in ketosis is, 18:59 Speaker 1: It helps. It helps and it'll help, it'll really help if you actually are Stack it. On the carb core diet, and it'll help if you're not. 19:08 Speaker 0: I mean, that's the beauty of peptides, 19:10 Speaker 0: you know, 19:12 Speaker 0: and that's why I think, you know, not speaking for you, but I know you well, and we've had numerous conversations 19:17 Speaker 0: why we love this and why we have started doing this and why we started a peptide company and doing this is just educating people on 19:25 Speaker 0: these amazing qualities. They are truly, truly so amazing because they're chains of amino acids, and they're really just going to enhance so many things in our body on such a cellular level health wise. 19:37 Speaker 0: But let's circle back around. You have to eat right. 19:41 Speaker 0: You base 19:42 Speaker 0: if you base and eat a good diet, it doesn't need to be a ketogenic diet, 19:47 Speaker 0: whole food diet, just a healthy diet. Cut out crap. Cut out the Doritos. 19:51 Speaker 0: Just eat a healthy diet and exercise. 19:54 Speaker 0: Even if you play basketball, you don't have to lift weights like us. You 19:58 Speaker 0: are going to use these peptides and they are going to enhance 20:02 Speaker 0: your life like you wouldn't believe. Trust me. Trust me. They're amazing. I really Yes. I challenge 20:09 Speaker 1: anybody to take all 3 of those and tell me that you do not see 20:14 Speaker 1: very positive change. 20:18 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a guarantee 20:20 Speaker 1: to work. 20:21 Speaker 1: I love it, man. Now don't just sit back and eat Doritos all day. 20:25 Speaker 0: Don't eat Doritos anyways. Doritos. Don't eat Doritos anyway. 20:28 Speaker 1: Yeah, man, you know, and 20:31 Speaker 1: I do think we should lift weights. 20:34 Speaker 1: It's 20:35 Speaker 1: I do think you should lift weights and not just play basketball. I like playing basketball too, but you're gonna burn more fat by by lifting weights than you are running around. And maybe we can explain that later, but 20:45 Speaker 1: be healthy folks. Absolutely, do what makes you feel do what makes you feel good and make you happy. We're all 20:52 Speaker 1: healthy and happier 20:54 Speaker 0: for it. Lifestyle, man. We preach that here and we preach it just so heavily where it's like, this is a lifestyle, man. I mean, I'm going to be 48 in a month 21:03 Speaker 0: and I feel better than I did when I was 28. I just do, you know what I mean? I'm obviously a lot more health conscious and I'm very strict on diet and stuff, but 21:11 Speaker 0: for anybody listening, 21:13 Speaker 0: is just striking a chord. 21:16 Speaker 0: Will and I have studied this stuff. 21:19 Speaker 0: When you find something that works for you, like I like ketogenic diets or carnivore type diets, that works for me, but I've tried them all. So try what works for you and 21:28 Speaker 0: just start to like learn what works best for you. If it's tracking macros, awesome. I didn't like that, but I've done it. It 21:36 Speaker 0: doesn't matter when you get the snowball 21:38 Speaker 0: of 21:39 Speaker 0: bettering yourself, rolling down a hill, it picks up steam, and you can feel great. You don't have to feel like man. 21:48 Speaker 0: You can feel amazing. You can wake up feeling vigor and stuff like you used to. It's there. You just gotta work for it. Everything you want, everything. It's on the other side of hard work, man. You gotta study it, you gotta implement, 22:00 Speaker 0: and 22:01 Speaker 0: But yeah, man. So that's great, man. I enjoyed it, man. We obviously went a little longer than we planned. 22:06 Speaker 0: 15 minutes is what we're at, but man, this was a good 1. This was a good 1, man.
