AOD-9604
A modified fragment of human growth hormone corresponding to its C-terminal region, investigated for effects on fat metabolism without the broader activity of the full hormone.
Any compounds discussed may be intended for research purposes only. Nothing here is a protocol to follow — amounts, timing and cycle lengths are reported as the named speaker described them.

Overview
AOD-9604 is a synthetic fragment based on the C-terminal portion of human growth hormone. It was developed on the premise that the fat-metabolism-related activity of growth hormone could be separated from its other effects.
It reached human clinical trials for obesity and did not demonstrate the weight-loss effect those trials were designed to detect. Later interest shifted toward cartilage and joint applications, where the published work is earlier-stage. The negative obesity result is the most substantial human evidence about this compound and is frequently left out of summaries of it.
What the research examines
Lipolysis and fat metabolism, where human trials did not confirm the hypothesis, and more recently cartilage repair, where the work is preliminary.
Reported protocols
Attributed to the person who described them. Amounts, timing and interactions as stated on air.
Nobody has described a protocol for AOD-9604 on the show. When someone does, it will appear here attributed to them.
Adverse effects
The obesity trials reported a tolerability profile without notable safety signals at the doses studied. That is a statement about tolerability in those trials, not about long-term use.
Presentation and storage
Supplied as a lyophilised powder. Reconstituted material is generally refrigerated; stability beyond short periods is not well characterised.
